This is hardly the time for self-recriminations, and Jazz well knows it. It's also not the time to sulk, or sit around brooding. “Thanks, Bee.” Jazz says, as he's helped back to his feet. Personal funks are rather selfish at a time like this. “Be right there, First Aid.” A few moment's rest has helped, and knowing that he's needed elsewhere. Jazz makes his way over to Botanica and First Aid to help. He's not the only one who is in pain, angry, trying to cope with this in his own mind. He's just the one who is supposed to be able to help the others cope. Fine job he's doing with that.

Still moving slowly in vehicle mode, Makeshift's rotors twitch at the call for retreat. Moving injured, especially injured incapable of moving themselves, is against at least a dozen of his rescue protocols, to say nothing of leaving a comrade behind.
But they're still effectively in a war zone. It's either move now or risk not moving again at all.
He wants to comment that Prowl is still out there searching, that Firebot is coming to help tend to wounded, but he can't. His brothers aren't here, and they're not likely to turn up any time soon.
So instead, Makeshift continues stoically working, moving wounded and equipment as directed. And trying not to think of how long they'll be trapped down in the tunnels.

Descend the shades of night. Let the curtain fall with the falling roof, and let the weight of failure settle heavily open Emirate Xaaron's holed and injured shoulders; they will bear the weight still.
Slag it. He should have anticipated better. He should have planned for worse than the worst. Emirate Xaaron isn't beating himself up; in his mind, these are statements of fact. They needed to have run disaster drills for different scenarios. They needed to know how and when to evacuate efficiency. They needed headcounts sooner than the one he made.
They needed to get out with everyone.
