The heavy clang of footsteps heralds the approach of another presenter, one familiar and yet... off. In this casual setting, he has none of the darklight that sometimes surrounds him, but his optics glitter ruby red, and the smile playing around his lips, where nothing so innocent as a smile has any right playing at all, has a decidedly nasty edge to it. This is a smile that pulls the wings off butterflies when it's not at the playground of its father's face.
Rodimus Prime, the dark alternate, walks slowly up the stairs, and stalks with the grace of a panther and the power of a lion, to the podium at the middle.
"It would seem," he begins, "that I am tasked with presenting the award for 'Best Autobot Introduction,' although by 'Autobot,' whoever arranged this circus seems to mean the weak mirrors that infest this reality. I imagine there's supposed to be a touch of irony in that."
His smile widens as he gazes out at those gathered. "Because of course, normally I make that kind of Autobot go away."
"And now, the nominees."
Suddenly, the Prime's optics widen, and his smile falters. "F-" he hisses out, "Firebolt." Then he spins to glare directly at the Ferarri-former. "Little girl, you had best prey you don't win this one!"
He shakes his head, recovers himself, and continues. "Second, we have Gizmo. I would say that perhaps the powers that be must prefer no fuss, no muss introductions, but the nominee after that is Jazz. Behind Jazz is Long Haul, which makes no sense at all because his arrival partially introduced the whole blasted setting, and was dull besides. After that is the emotional softie, Omega Supreme. With Omega, 'introduction' includes his first encounter with Long Haul.
"Rattrap has been nominated for bravely running away from his opponents soon after arrival, and Skyfire because apparently, waffling about which side you want to work for is cool. Last, and most certainly least, at least in the mental facilities department, is Slag, because there's nothing quite like idiotically knocking yourself out by running headlong into your superior officer to catch people's interests."
