There is a reply to Kup at the top of his vocoder queue. Then Omega decides he needs a drink, and Hook is reminded once again how futile this is. Words are a tool he wields with little finesse - he always means precisely what he says.
"Yes," he says distantly and turns his head to the side, staring off into the darkness.

Out of thread with Omega.

When Dead End freezes up, Kup lowers his hand. Push too hard when he's not yet certain, and all might be lost. Nor does he question what Megatron might have commanded, at least, not out loud. Kup rather suspects that voicing his opinion on Megatron just now is likely to blow his odds of spending a pleasant evening showing this car that there are more pleasant things to do with one's mouth than dwell aloud on everyone's mortality, after all.
Instead, he draws back and offers Dead End a gentle smile. "Ah, of course. And 'Sigma forbid that your allies be given some means to guess your intentions..." he chuckles lightly. "Although, I suppose in a way it did, didn't it?"

There was a barely audible 'clack' and hiss of servos resetting as Kup withdrew his hand; Dead End's stance seemed less stiff. He tilted his head slightly, a subtle, languid gesture.
"Indeed," he said in a tone of dark amusement. "Vector Sigma has much to answer for."

"He certainly does, but since he's not here to ask, we'll have to find some other means to keep ourselves pre-occupied," Kup murmurs. Then he glances at his drink and frowns. "But I don't think I'll be using that to do it. It's been sitting out a little too long."
Kup stands and hefts his half-empty cube, then looks down at Dead End. "Care for a fresh drink yourself?"
OOC: *Flails!* I have no idea how to RP a suave-sort. XD

"Capital idea, though considering that both Mixmaster and your Perceptor have been at it, we'll be lucky to wake up from defrag," Dead End observed. "However, I'm sure I've already had enough to send me offline, so more can't hurt."
He's inclined to follow Kup around, chatting, if and when Kup goes for that drink. "I confess to some curiosity about you. I've fought your counterpart more than once--he is formidable."
The dark red Stunticon gazed briefly at Pee-Dee's dancing; his expression was hidden but there was a hint of annoyance in his voice as he said, "However, it's much too noisy around here for interesting conversation. There must be someplace less overrun with, ah, celebration nearby."
--- Fortunately, Dead End's easy. He wants some meaningless one-night-stand pleasure.

Kup walks as Dead End speaks, heading towards the drinks. He lifts two cubes off the table and hands one off to Dead End, all as part of the same motion. "I'm inclined to agree. Someplace quieter would be more... conducive to conversation."
And in the interests of heading someplace quieter, Kup begins walking away from the party, pausing only to check that Dead End is still walking with him. The large parking garage may have been torn down, but if this city is laid out like the alternate, Kup should have little problem finding a nice double-wide garage.
"I suppose I should be pleased that my alternate is one to be respected, but considering we'll soon be fighting him I imagine the opposite would be preferable."

Dead End accepted the offered drink and raised it in a mocking toast--"To fast living and mortality!"
After the obligatory drink, he followed Kup. "You might wind up fighting him yourself. He is very dangerous--very strong, as tough as Shockwave, though not as much firepower, and very, very experienced. I'm told that he did almost as much damage to the 2005 raid as Optimus Prime, and more than Ultra Magnus."
The potent energon lowered Dead End's reserve enough for him to blurt out, "Are you as tough as he is?"

Kup returns the toast gracefully, even if he doesn't agree with the sentiments. Then he takes in the information being offered about his other as he guides Dead End generally towards a cozy, relatively undamaged garage space - these things are important to know, after all.
"I've never met him, so I can't be certain, but I'm generally considered quite tough by the standards of our kind. Powerful, as well. Though, of course, I have other advantages beyond my physical prowess.
"But what about you? We've spent plenty of time talking about myself." And death. Of course.
Kup's free hand then reaches behind Dead End, and he attempts to stroke it gently, softly, tantalizingly across the Stunticon's back. "Or perhaps it's getting a bit late for talk," he adds.

Dead End leaned back into Kup's hand. "Oh, there's not that much to say about me. I am one of Megatron's Stunticons, as is Wildrider. We were built to counter the Autobot's automotive tactics--so they built jets. Calculate that, if you will."
Dead End's engine rumbled appreciatively. "Depends on the conversation..."

"Well, I was thinking on quitting the verbal kind for the non-verbal kind," Kup murmurs, taking note of those areas that Dead End seems to be enjoying having touched the most and putting more attention into those spots. As he speak, though, they finally arrive at Kup's destination. The elder stops with the stroking long enough to open up the door of what is, indeed, a small garage attached to a small domicile. Not huge, but just large enough.
He turns towards Dead End. "That is, if you're still interested," he smiles.
OOC: We seem to be approaching a good fade-out point. I apologize for my lateness in reply. Things and stuff.

Dead End stopped suddenly and looked around, his visor brightening in surprise. "Ah, you like small private garages too?" He chuckled softly.
"I would be most interested in a... demonstration of this non-verbal communication of yours," Dead End replied, his tone droll.
---- OOC: I think so...
