KABOOM!
The shot hits Grimlock, and hard, enough to send the Dinobot Commander flying, reeling, and crashing a few dozen yards away. As he rolls, his 'wings' are torn off, rendering his dinosaur mode a bit useless now. His torso smolders, one section gone out of the side and in major pain. Once again, Grimlock shall be having an extended stay in the medbay, but this time he'll walk in of his own accord.
Grimlock staggers to his feet, clutching the side before letting it go, then hobbling into the air in a shaky flight pattern, headed off to safer places for now.

Oh this was always, always fun; hopping into the chaos of battle with nary a plan or sight of goal. But that was how things were, as they always were- useless to defy and useless to submit to but a fight was a fight. Still, it was only the threat of punishment that reigned in Phobia's need to drive off and cower uselessly somewhere until there was nothing left but hollow shells and silent lips.
The motorcycle takes a moment to set up the mental steel walls against the onrush of terror that threatened to take root. Then he kick starts his engines and... rather cautiously drives into the fray.
Skippable for now.

OOC note: We've got a bit of something special planned, and want to give it its chance to run its course. Consider this a temporarily closed thread - please do not join without permission until it re-opens.
Rodimus Prime's battle wagon finally goes crashing down into the bottom of the crater, throwing up dirt, rubble, debris, shreds of metal as it adds to the already overwhelming cacaphony in the area. Rodimus himself stands firm amidst the rain of dust, as the thing bounces past him to his left, a menace to anyone in that area, until it finally comes to a stop.
Some of Dead End and Ramulus's shots are dodged, and some aren't. Some pepper his flame-decorated armor and put yet more cracks in his thick hide. Are those sparks beneath? But still, he stands strong. With both Blackout and Optimus coming at him in melee, it would be awkward - but possible - to dodge both. Instead of attempting, however, he smoothly ducks low beneath Optimus's overhead strike, reaching up and grabbing the other's axe handle. In a single, deft motion, he twists it around, pulling Optimus towards him, grabbing the younger Prime in a choke-hold. "Why, what do we have here?" asks the demon Prime, red optics glittering above a horrifying grin. Now, with his free arm, he raises his arm to point his pipes at his good alternate, while the other arm uses Optimus as a partial shield.

Rodimus Prime screeches and swerves to a halt when Optimus is brought between him and his alternate, transforming before he's completely stopped. "Out of the way, Optimus!" he shouts, but it's too late. Why did Optimus have to do such a direct melee assault, especially with everyone else going on!?
The situation might look just a touch familiar to Autobots of a certain reality who had been at a certain battle in 2005, and indeed, Kup, who had been tossed aside earlier, has now recovered enough to recognize what's going on.
Most everything reminds him of something else, but there are some things he'd just as soon not remember.
Rodimus himself remembers nothing. Things happened differently for him. He dives to the right as his alternate fires at him, hits the ground, and rolls to his feet. He notes Optimus still being used as a shield, then glances up, spying the nearby Scourge... and what Scourge is holding. He nods once, faintly, towards the black Decepticon, then sends a radio message to Botanica.
//Botanica, On my mark, be ready to retrieve Optimus,// he orders.
With that, he open fires, aiming at Optimus Prime's lower torso - a non-fatal blast, one that goes all the way through and hits the evil Rodimus Prime as well. The other Rodimus, shocked that he'd make such a move, opens his optics wide, and as his grip starts to loosen, the good Rodimus prepares to take advantage of it and fire again.

Hmm, so this game of 'everyone throw themselves at the big bad' isn't panning out too badly...
...but Scourge shouldn't have even thought that. The kid Prime - it sure is weird to see someone so young who looks so much like his dear old dad - gets snatched up by his infernal majesty.
Then, the cavalier shoots slagging through the kid. Harsh, but effective.
In that moment, he snaps out his whip with a deft flick of his wrist, trying to sweep the demon Prime off his feet.
It's not what Scourge really wants to be doing. There are ruins out there that are an awful lot more interesting, but if he doesn't make a stand now, the whole planet will be in ruins.

Optimus knew that Rodimus was fast, but he had no idea just how fast! He struggles in the Demon Prime's grip as his axe is knocked aside. The Good Rodimus is here even if 'good' can only be used to define his aim and not his alignment as he shoots through Optimus's body.
Optimus gasps in pain, but holds anything else in. By the time Scourge is doing his sweep, Optimus helps as best he can by aiming his foam launcher in the arm not pinned by Rodimus's choke-hold at his optics and spraying him.
When Scourge pulls, Optimus takes this opportunity to break free, firing a grappler to get his axe back as he distances himself from the Demon Prime as best he can.

A flurry of green bursts through the ground in response to Rodimus' radio command. Thanks to the Psychic Plant Network, she surfaces near enough to the injured Optimus that she should be able to grab him without too much trouble. "Close you intakes!" she warns as her arms and vines wrap around the young Prime and she dives back beneath.
The dive down brings her entirely too close to the chunk of a Cybertron. It makes her skin crawl, and she hisses sharply as she brushes up against it. Swiftly, she swaps direction, heading toward where Perceptor should be waiting. And hopefully evading the two other creatures she can sense lurking beneath the sands.
OOC: Dragging about of Optimus done with permission. He and Botanica are out of thread. This thread is now returning to normal, and Dead End-3 is up next. A separate thread will be opening up running concurrent to this one involving Botanica-3, and anyone in the thread who wants to shift their characters over may do so, as what happens in the one thread can and will affect/be acknowledge by the other.

His guns aren't enough; they barely score the Demon Prime's armor. Dead End-3 revvs his engine and pops the clutch, rapidly accelerating to a full-speed charge at Rodimus-3. He aims for the vile orange Bot's nearest knee joint; with luck, he'll catch it with his right fender, and the kinetic energy of a ton or more of steel hitting at 200 miles per hour should do the rest.
It's going to hurt; his forcefields still aren't back online.

Duskwing-3 comes around for his second and last aerial pass--his fuel is getting dangerously low. He dives like a Stuka, straight down at the evil Prime, unleashing all his remaining cluster bombs--
Well, only half his bombs. The one launcher is still warped and promptly jams again. "Dagnabbit! Whaddit do that for?" Duskwing growls, his attention wandering to his damage control displays--
The Demon Prime's darkly glowing orange form looms in Duskwing's vision just a wee bit too closely--along with the ground just below him. Duskwing's flaps snap down and his elevators up as he tries to belatedly pull out of his power dive--
He opens his throttle full and ignites his afterburners in desperation; his wings groan and spars deform with the strain as he pulls several negative Gs--
Duskwing pulls up, just clearing the ground and the Prime, though his jet exhaust blasts by close enough to feel...
Unfortunately, just before he quite clears the meteor and the crater wall, Duskwing-3 runs out of fuel.
--- OOC: Duskwing-3's momentum carries him over the meteor and he lands/crashes somewhere over on the other side out of the current fight. And thread.

Rodimus Prime actually cries out in pain when the attack from his alternate hits him in the lower torso, leaving a gaping hole in his frame. And he shot through Optimus to do it? Wasn't the other Rodimus supposed to be some sort of goody-two-shoes weakling? With Scourge's energon whip entangling his legs and Optimus's foam temporarily blinding him, he's caught completely off-guard by Dead End's attempt to smash into him, and is knocked completely flat, what's left of the armor over his chest now sporting a new, deep dent as the stress puts fractures throughout the area.
From his prone position, he's able to kick off Scourge's now loosened whip, and so, once the cluster bombs fall, he's able to leap towards his wagon and take partial cover from the widespread bombing (an attack that may well endanger anyone else who's near him as well). The cover is far from sufficient, however, and explosions rock him, causing more cracks, widening holes that are already there, adding to the dents...
"ENOUGH!!" he booms, and the 'darklight' effect seems to flare into a flame of black for a moment. He twists to fire after Dead End for his attempted hit-and-run, then turns his focus to Scourge and Rodimus. If one looks closely, some of those cracks are now closing, and some of the dents are beginning to pop themselves out, though his damage is still considerable... "I am finished toying with you people," he growls.

Rodimus Prime raises his hand to take another shot at his alternate, when Dead End runs the other over, causing him to hold off a moment longer (hopefully he won't have to shoot through this ally as well... once is bad enough, twice makes for a very bad trend). He starts to resume his rush towards the other when the cluster-bombs cause him to leap back. Since he had just been starting to close the difference, he still had time to scramble to avoid the weaponry. Automatically, he lifts his hand to prepare to fire on Duskwing, assuming that the enemy Duskwing has just decided to try to kill two Primes with one stone (or perhaps they've dissolved their truce), when Duskwing's crash makes the point moot.

Hugging the hillside there is one red bot stopping cold from a passing as Duskwing's clusterbombs rain down. Seizing fire for the moment whilst reminding himself of what happened to the young Optimus, Ramulus decides to quiet his eagerness to fight, and keep up the orders.

Duskwing has area-bombed the whole place. Scourge winces as his armour pits slightly. Someone really needs to straighten that boy out, and for a moment, Scourge is quite tempted to run after Duskwing to haul him behind a woodshed.
However, he has slightly more important things to be doing at the moment.
Like that beast whose injuries are vanishing before Scourge's very optics.
He looks over at his whip ruefully. Yeah. Not going to cut it, today. he pulls out his plasma gun, and with a shout of, "Plasma gun!" he snaps out a shot at the evil Prime. Is this obvious and easy to dodge? Yeah, but if he's dodging Scourge's shot, he might just walk into someone else's line of fire.

Overhead, a green Cybertronian chopper appears, with a dangling, smoldering wreck of a 'bot hanging from his skids. Much as Springer thinks it's a bad idea, his passenger has lasted this long, and apparently has no intentions of stopping. So, he's not going to argue.
Springer drops in low enough for Midnight-3 to drop off, and once he does, he pulls back, and out of the crater to investigate something vaguely familiar he spotted from the air...

Dead End-3 succeeded in knocking the evil Prime flat at a cost. His right front fender crumpled and peeled under the impact; Dead End bounced away with a shriek of tearing metal and the ear-gnawing scream of rubber tires scraping against twisted metal.
For added insult, a Duskwing dumps a load of cluster bombs all over the Prime and anyone near him. Joy. The bomblets explode, battering and denting Dead End-3 further; Rodimus-3's shots blow up the ground beneath him and flip Dead End over as he tries to dodge and drive away. Dead End rolls several times and finally lands on his tires.
He's battered and crumpled and dented all over, covered with dust and sand; a sad decline from the immaculately polished sports car Dead End-3 began the day as. He pulls away from the immediate proximity and tries to deploy his cannon--
No dice; they're jammed under the crushed hood. With great difficulty, Dead End-3 slowly and painfully transforms, reaching a hand out to bend a few parts into place to complete the transform. He groans softly as he shoves the last part into place, and summons his concussion rifle to hand.
He drops to one knee and braces, taking aim at the biggest crack in the darkling Prime's armor--and pulls the trigger.
