Now Starscream is gathering the attention of the Aerialbot. Good. Starscream can handle him well enough, and it's better him getting all the attention than Fleetwind.
Between the sole attention of Slingshot and the divided attention of the other Fleetwind, Starscream is hard pressed to avoid all of the blasts, and indeed more than a few connect. Starscream follows this up with a cluster missile aimed for Slingshot.

Skyblast is not the brightest of people, and he's getting genuinely confused now. There's the Fleetwind he just sliced, and then there's the Fleetwind he didn't slice. As the little Valkyrie swirls through the air, the world spins around him, and his vantage pint is never the same.
He pauses, for just a moment, and there is a yellow Seeker in his sights. Does this one bear the scratches? He couldn't say. Skyblast's not even sure if he scratched the right one. He extrudes his gun and opens fire.

Fleetwind grins. One Autobot has given up on trying to tell the two apart and decided to concentrate on Starscream, and the other is firing on the wrong Fleetwind. Excellent!
Of course, it's in Fleetwind's best interests to ensure that the confusion is kept up for as long as possible. The yellow Seeker scans the skies, sizes up his alternate's most likely direction of retreat, and circles around to cut it off. Diving across the sky like that results in Fleetwind taking another shot through his fragile armor, and at this point he's leaving faint trails from leaking fluid lines, but still, the Seeker judges the injury worth it.
"Ha! You won't escape that easily, coward!" Fleetwind taunts his alternate. Of course, by calling the other a coward, he's unknowingly giving himself away - that's an insult that the evil Fleetwind never flings. Will the others catch it?

Almost tiredly, Fleetwind protests over the shared frequencies, //Wrong Fleetwind, Skyblast.// If he doesn't sound particularly upset about it, however, that's because he's getting out of here, anyway. The less time spent wallowing in the chaos, the better. Not a moment too soon, either - he's taken a spray of shots across the chest, and his agility is beginning to be hampered by the damages.
The yellow Seeker twists and starts to dive - and that's when his plans are derailed, as his alternate circles around him and then flies at him, firing. Fleetwind's optics widen as he jinks upward, still taking one shot clear through his right wing.
Fleetwind's lip curls up in frustration and his arms dart up to grab his daggers from their wing-mounted sheaths. If his alternate would force him to go through the other to get away, that's just what he'll do.
"If you won't let me escape easily, I'll just have to escape hard," he hisses, flying once more at his alternate self, attempting to slice at a wing - a leg - anything. "The difference is in how much of your energon gets spilt in the process."

Slingshot swings away from the incoming cluster bomb, keeping his focus on Starscream.
//Shark,// He says on a secure line to Skyblast. //Kill Starscream. Yellow jets later.//

Starscream has been struggling to keep his optics trained on exactly which Fleetwind is 'his', but he's pretty sure his is the one that's not getting attacked by Skyblast. So now is the perfect time to distract Skyblast with some laser fire! Ideally he'll think that he's attacking the right Fleetwind because Starscream is defending him--but at the very least it'll be tougher for him to identify which Fleetwind is which as he'll be busy handling the attack.
Of course this leaves him open to Slingshot...

Even Skyblast sometimes has no idea what Slingshot means, such as now, when Slingshot says 'shark'.
Skyblast makes a wordless whining measure over the radio at Slingshot.
Starscream does indeed manage to distract Skyblast with some laserfire. He dodges a bit of it, but Starscream is an excellent shot, so Skyblast does take some damage. He curses, "Your Allspark was set in backward mode when it made you!"

Fleetwind is a very close match for himself, as might be expected. However, Fleetwind does have one advantage - he's used to being more willing to engage in close combat. The other Fleetwind, the evil one, knows close combat because he can imagine situations where not knowing it can make him dead. The heroic Fleetwind is never afraid to dive into the thick of things when guns themselves won't do.
Fleetwind's own daggers come out, and rather than twisting out of the way, he parries, forcing the other Seeker back. He darts forward in a feint, another feint, and then he strikes again, aiming for the midsection.

Fleetwind hisses as he's forced back. Fortunately, the Autobots, his so-called 'allies', have chosen to focus on the false Starscream and left him alone for the moment. Unfortunately, he's still got, well, himself to deal with - and seems like he's more practiced in toe-to-toe aerial combat.
Fleetwind twists to the left, but that still means he takes a thin, jagged cut on the right side of his lower trunk. "Oh, for the..." and he leans back and swings his feet up, both of them. He forces his legs towards his double, as though to kick him away - and then triggers his jet thrusters full blast.

Starscream thinks in too complicated of a manner. Otherwise, he might have realized that being the only person shooting at Skyblast was a bad idea.
//Shark,// Slingshot repeats. //Blood frenzy. Target change at random.//
His mortars growl as he opens up on Starscream again. Two on one. Good odds.
//Don't. One at a time.//
It's time for this star to go nova.

Starscream is good in the air, downright excellent, in fact, even if he would never admit it. However excellent will only go so far, and when he's already sported a bit of damage from the airborne battle, he's not going to do so well with the mortars. Sure, he can dodge and weave away the bulk of them, but once he finally catches a shot on one of them, causing him to call out in pain, it's the hesitation that causes that easily allow another three explosive shells to blast his wings.
"Allspark? Typical ignorance for an Autobot." The Gray F-15 says in response to Skyblast as it begins a spin that results in turning into robot mode. Null-rays are fired from both arms at Slingshot.
"I see this world and it makes me sad. I've seen what you could have been. There was always potential for you to be good, you simply chose to squander it for your own selfish violent wants!"
He's not out of the fight yet, but he's starting to take a beating. He doesn't let it stop him though--he set himself up to draw the attention of both of them to give Fleetwind a fighting chance. He can take it.
For now.

Skyblast also has no idea what a shark is. He's never been to Earth! He thinks Slingshot means he should be shooting at Starscream, but he's really not sure.
He sends an electro-blast Starscream's way.

Fleetwind is blasted full in the lower torso by his alternate's boots, despite having started to dart backwards the very moment he realized what the other was up to. Boy, his other stuff fights dirty, doesn't he?
The sound of motor-fire overhead catches Fleetwind's attention. The yellow Seeker shakes his head. "Sir! Don't!" He climbs, trying to interpose himself between Starscream and the evil Autobots. "You must get back to the crater! Aid the others against R-" and here he is cut off as the last few motors fired by Slingshot slam into his back. Already, he's been leaking energon from his back ever since Skyblast struck him there with his blades. Now the holes and damage make that worse.
But the Seeker does not yet realize just how bad it is.
"Get out of here! They need your firep-"
And then Skyblast's electro-blast hits.
And he is leaking energon.
Sparks ignight, and in an instant, the yellow Seeker is engulfed in white-hot flame.
The Seeker falls.

Fleetwind's mouth and optics open wide as he sees his double - his other - himself - engulfed in flames. Then he narrows his optics, looking from one Autobot, all too eager to hit him in their attempt to take out his double, to the other.
Far too keen to see the death of a Seeker, these two.
Fleetwind increases the distance between himself and the fray, as per Shockwave's orders, but he can't help but keep an eye on what's going on - if those two are as eager to go after other yellow jets, it may be a problem.

Slingshot jinks out of the way of Starscream's null-rays.
Gorgeous.
Slingshot flicks his wings, making a tight corkscrew to spiral down and around the falling Seeker. Halfway down, he peels off and goes up and up.
Losing a comrade ought to be a bit distracting to the Air Commander.
