Springer takes a breather for a moment while he's up in the air. Being no longer stuck between a rock and a hard place can remove a good deal of stress.
And then Bumblebee starts shooting at him. A few of the blaster shots graze him, and one rocket hits him square in the chest, scarring his armor, and causing him to lose his balance, crashing into the ground. By this point, Springer is starting to look like a black repaint of himself.
Raising up into a crouch, he shakes his head a couple times. "Alright, no more playin' around. Time to kick it up a notch" he mumbles, looking to see where Bumblebee is. Springer leaps again, but this time he propels himself forward, aiming for Bumblebee, and transforming into his armored car form.

Needlenose is plowed into from behind by Midnight. My, but he didn't know the alt-Decepticon was such a fan!
He drops both his weapons as he's thrown forward, and manages to twist beneath Midnight before the other has his full wait on him, leading to Needlenose skidding across the ground, weaponless, but face up.
The weapons, however, are running along behind the pair, for now out of reach, and should probably not be discounted.
While Needlenose is not so strong as he had been before he could transform, he's still respectably strong, and right now he does his best to try to kick Midnight off of him. "Please, please, I understand the desire to be closer to little ol' me, but you're carrying things a bit far for a first date, aren't you?"

Good news: Midnight has knocked Needlenose flat and tackled him.
Bad news: He doesn't have a really good grip on the other Decepticon's body and Needlenose just managed to smash a foot into Midnight's ventral landing jacks (located on his chest beside his cockpit). His armor rings with a dull clang at the force of the kick, which loosens his grip. Midnight tries to grab and clamp down on the other Decepticon's legs before Needlenose gets entirely free...
"The slag? Did you switch personalities with Spinister or what?" Midnght growls. There's something horribly wrong about such banter coming from someone with staid, quiet, oh-so-serious Needlenose's face.
Red optics glitter and narrow. "Ah have to be up close and personal for a proper demolition job, don't ya know?"

Bumblebee gets knocked back by the strange green car, tumbling on the ground before folding back into that rusted out Camaro form he scanned from his duplicate.
With a belch of noxious smoke, he chases after the tripler-changer, intent on crashing into him.

After impacting the Evil 'Bee, Springer's momentum carries him past the yellow 'bot, and he keeps going, keeping pace just ahead of the Camaro.
The Triple-changer slows down slightly as he goes, letting Bumblebee catch up to him bit by bit...
And then slams on the brakes. Here's hoping that armor holds up.

Needlenose really only has half a face, anyway.
When Midnight loosens his grip, Needlenose tries to squirm out, but he's only able to make it part way before the alternate Decepticon clamps down on his legs. His antennae fall flat against his head as he struggles, and he looks around. Where are they?
"Swapped? Why, I've always had my own darling personality. And as for demolitions, that's generally done best at a distance..."
Bingo! Zigzag finally catches up with the two Transformers. He transforms, leaping into Needlenose's outstretched and waiting hand.
"But if you like up close and personal, hows about a face-full of electrical overload!" he shouts, pulling Zigzag up to fire directly into the robot holding him down.

Midnight-3 has already made one critical error--he mixed up one of Needlenose's guns with one of Spinister's. To him, the cyborgs all look alike, and equally tiny. Unfortunately, that mistake has just come back to bite Midnight as he takes the massive electrical surge blast straight in the face.
EEEEEEEEEEEE---!
Midnight's vocalizer burns out with a maddeningly high-pitched wail that comes apart in a burst of static as sparks jump and crawl across head and body. He convulses violently, metal clashing and twisting as servos actuate randomly and transformation joints engage and disengage. Three bombs unlock from their wing mounts and fall to the ground; the fourth explodes with a dull 'CRUMP' against the ground, taking the outer half of Midnight's right wing with it and showering all and sundry with sand, gravel and chunks of wing metal.
There's a violet flash from inside Midnight's cockpit and it fills with smoke; sparks flicker inside the smoke like a miniature thunderstorm. The black jet-former abruptly falls still, optics dimming to black, his hands and other joints locked in whatever position they'd taken after the surge deranged his system; smoke billows out of his jet intakes and mouth.
The only sound from Midnight is the fading snap and crackle of stray charges grounding themselves; the only motion, the drifting of smoke in the wind.

Please do not think Bumblebee is stupid. Clearly, Springer is laying a trap for him.
The thing is, Bumblebee just doesn't care. When Springer brakes, Bumblebee accelerates.
*CRUNCH* The Camaro is now sporting a pretty significant dent as he collides into the green vehicle. It would be nice if the other car took some damage from this too....
But again. So long as it hurts, Bumblebee doesn't care.

Yeah, Springer does take some damage in the form of a dent on his car backside - a bit bigger than he expected, as he never thought the Camaro would speed up. That will probably make transforming into chopper mode fairly painful.
Waitaminute...what was that noise? Springer transforms, turning to where Needlenose and Midnight were--
Aw, no...
The Wrecker Commander cuts a very harsh glare at the Mayhem, and starts in his direction, ignoring Bumblebee for now. Pulling out a pair of pistols, he levels them at the Mayhem, aiming more purposefully this time, mostly for his arms to try and get him to drop those fancypants weapons he's got. He then bellows out to the Mayhem: "Needlenose! You slag-sucking spawnuvaglitch! I'll have your head for that!"

"No, nonononononono! You've got it all wrong! I'm a /Targetmaster,/ not a /Headmaster/! You want someone prone to losing his head, you'll have to talk to Skorponok!"
There are advantages and disadvantages to shooting at an enemy who's pinned down by an unconscious friend. On the up side, the enemy has less options when it comes to dodging. On the downside, the unconscious friend can't dodge at all.
Needlenose squirms out from beneath Midnight, but then scrambles to the other side of the larger jet as Springer fires on him. He only has one of his /special/ weapons, but as the arm holding it gets hit, he automatically drops it. And then it transforms, jumps, and lands in his other hand.
Hey! This is the very shtick that is part of what Marvel tried to sell Targetmasters as being 'good' with!
Needlenose, now trusting that Midnight is out cold, rushes to meet Springer head-long. After all, point blank makes it easier to hit. He returns fire while he's running, but only a single shot - energy is starting to be a concern.

Brain core #1 non-functioning... Switching metaprocessor function to brain core #2...
As usual when Midnight's awareness returned after an sudden hiatus in the middle of a fight, his alarm queue was overflowing with damage reports. At first, all he could do was wait as automatic systems switched to backups and tried to bring his senses and motor circuitry and weapons back on line.
What the slag was I thinking? Letting Needlenose use one of his guns on me--I should've remembered he's the one with Zigzag. Spinister has Singe. Not that Singe would have been much better in the hands of a Spinister who actually wanted to kill someone!
The damage from Zigzag was extensive, and almost beyond the (relatively stupid) automated systems ability to handle. Midnight finally had to devote some of his higher intelligence to sorting out the circuit re-routing problem, then poke some extra resources at his badly overtaxed fire-fighting systems. Most of his redundancy there had been slagged by the Zigzag-induced massive surges; it would be a while before all the smoking and smouldering stopped. If part of his design hadn't included extensive internal firewalls, the uncontrolled internal fires would have finished him off.
Warning: memory degradation 30%. Repair and reload indicated.
Yeah, not likely right now. Midnight hoped he hadn't forgotten anything important. He was pretty sure he remembered who his allies and his enemies were, though he wasn't too sure who his current commander was.
Vocalizer was completely slagged; Midnight was running silent until he got repairs. Bombs were gone; heavy structural damage to one wing--he wasn't flying on that wing. Had they rescued Hook? He thought they had, but couldn't remember how.
Smoke still trickled from Midnight's intakes and leaked from the edges of his cockpit; he still sprawled motionless on the sand. Hidden under the shadow of his helm, Midnight's optics glowed very dimly red....
Then one finger twitched.

Huh? Oh. Needlenose hurt Midnight. Badly. And Bumblebee's opponent has gotten distracted by Needlenose with petty things such as vengeance.
Bumblebee doesn't care much for vengeance. He hates everyone equally.
However one thing he does like is an easy shot. Midnight looks bad, but it's possible he's not offline yet. Ever-helpful person that he is, Bumblebee transforms and makes his way towards the wreck that might still be Midnight.
On the way over, he picks up a rock. A big heavy one, about the size of a large Transformer's head.

"Headmaster? The scrap are you talking abou--d'ah, it doesn't matter!" Springer stows one of his pistols, cutting to the side for a moment - changing direction makes it harder for Needlenose to hit him with the fancy gun.
Plus, that thing hurt like the Pit.
"C'mon, now - you didn't have the goofy little guns back home. Fight me like a real mech!" Springer grins as he says this, drawing back the empty hand as he draws closer, aiming to give the Targetmaster a nice haymaker. This is more to get Needlenose to move, since it's pretty obvious that he's about to punch from a mile away.

"A real mech adapts to the times and gets with the program!" Needlenose taunts back as he does, indeed, duck beneath Springer's punch. Springer may have the edge in armor and toughness, but the opponents are roughly equal in strength, while Needlenose is both more nimble and more practiced at hand to hand.
"But if that's your best, no reason I can't tell my boys to take a break," he adds, ducking directing a punch towards Springer's midsection while he's ducked low, then ducking lower and attempting to kick Springer's feet from beneath him. Truth be told, Zigzag's starting to run out of energy, and so, while he fights the tripe-changer, Needlenose opens his hand and contacts him. Go hide out with Sunbeam. Both of you stand by and be ready to return. He's still got a standard laser pistol in subspace, but those are so last toyline.
The Targetmaster, concentrating as he is on Springer, has yet to notice Midnight's twitchy fingers, and he's certainly not going to oppose Bumblebee's activities.

Main power comes back, and Midnight is ready to riot. None too soon; a shadow suddenly falls across his face as Bumblebee looms over him, a heavy rock raised in his insect-like claws.
Midnight lunges from the ground, grabbing Bumblebee by one yellow leg. He yanks hard, pulling the yellow Autobot's feet out from under him--as he does so, Midnight wonders what the yellow bastard thought he was going to do with that rock--give him a headache?
Slag him. Midnight hurts and he's seriously pissed off--the big dark jet-former reaches down with the other hand and seizes Bumblebee by a handful of those exposed struts and joints his kind seemed to like leaving exposed and heaves with all his considerable strength--
Sending Bumblebee flying straight at Needlenose.
