Alright, I realize this is a bit (okay, a LOT) presumptuous of me, seeing as I don't actually have an approved character yet, and I realize everyone's just arriving on P-Zazz, so that needs to resolve itself, but reading through the archives has got the ideas percolating in my head, and I need to let them out before they boil over, so here goes. I've noticed that while the Autobots have a version of Optimus Prime, the Decepticons have no Megatron. Starscream and/or Shockwave seem to be in command. The plot I suggest is this: Instead of a single Megatron (or Galvatron) arriving, how about two (or more) from multiple realities (or multiple times in the same reality.) The resulting conflict would be bound to be interesting.

Cool idea, but one of the things about Deadzone is to explore the dynamics of the TFs without their default leader characters. There is a no Megatron-No Optimus rule in place because of that.
That being said, Animated Optimus (my character) was a special exception thanks to the fact that he's Animated and not terribly powerful. To date, he has no rank in the Deadzone Autobots and is on the level of, say, Blurr or Springer. Tough, but not unstoppably so.
Contrast that with ANY Megatron or Galvatron character and you've got someone powerful, cunning, manipulative and a good pick to take over the Cons.

I thought they were considerable as plot characters? Come here, serve some sort of purpose, and then the plot whisks them away... I could be wrong, however - modly type folk, can we has clarification?
(Personally, seeing the Time Wars Megatron and Galvatron pair show up could be rather interesting.)

Ah, I suppose I should have clarified. I read the no Optimus/Megs rule, but I did think it would be interesting to have them as plot characters and kill each other off.

Actually, they can be considered as plot characters. That's an interesting idea, and we can try throwing it against the wall and seeing if it sticks. But yeah, I wouldn't see any of them sticking around as permanent characters. It's kind of bizarre when you consider that G1 Megatron was the weakest of the bunch!
