From about half a month into the stay on Pz-Zazz onward, the Autobots will be holding basic levels of training for all arrivals, done to cut down on the liability that those without military experience (as it is almost entirely Autobots that get these) pose to the rest of the faction. Because training roleplay can get kind of tedious after awhile, a lot of these scenes will not actually be roleplayed out, but they should be assumed to have happened. A character who has been cleared by security enough to be out and about should be assumed to have had the following rules and training put to them, and if they roleplay ignorance, the IC assumption is that they either were not bothering to pay attention to the lessons or that they are intentionally being disobedient. Either way, that character will have to deal with the IC consequences of insubordination.
Topics that are included:
* The Autobot chain of command
* What is currently known of the Decepticon chain of command (see next post)
* General security
* Radio security (including, and especially, do not give the Autobot frequency out to anyone without command authorization)
* Hostage situations (and why giving in tends to teach the Decepticons that they can do the same thing to get their way over, and over, and over again)
* Specifics on known Decepticon tactics, such as Shockwave's manipulation and Swindle's greed
Further, there would be periodic combat training sessions (though these would not necessarily happen before a person is considered 'cleared'). These aren't enough to justify improved stat levels or anything, but should at least be enough that characters have a clue on what to do on the battlefield and aren't restricted to panicking and flailing wildly (although it's reasonable for someone to do at least a little of that on their first 'live' battle).
If you have questions about what your character would or would not know from their basic training, please ask an admin.
