// I would say, give him another day, Springer, // Perceptor replies. // He is progressing well, but I would be happier if he were more stable before you put him under that significant of a stress again. //
"Whatever your punishment is to be, it will wait until I have cleared you medically," he declares aloud as he begins paging through the file.

//I agree.// Optimus transmits. He's annoyed he couldn't have a spark to spark with Sentinel, but he's busy at the moment, and Optimus' presence is likely only making things worse.
"Sentinel, I'm sorry. I was hoping we could talk, but I will wait until things are less crowded here. Take it easy."
Assuming Elita leaves, Optimus will follow shortly after.

Springer gives Peceptor a slightly faux-hurt look - //Stress? Me? Give me a little credit, Perceptor. I'm not Xaaron. I might metaphorically bust his bearings a bit for abandoning us like that, but nothing too harsh.//
He then turns to Sentinel, face a bit more neutral. "A fair bit of trouble, but I haven't decided on the punishment yet - and even if I had, you heard the doc." In the folder, Perceptor will find the visitor logs from the asylum (which include the fake names used), all the official meds and treatments Sentinel received, as well as two grainy black and white stills taken from security footage, showing both Oil Slick and Blackarachnia in their local dress.

Elita-1 turns back to Sentinel long enough to say, "I'll come back and check on you later. Perceptor? If you could radio me when he's ready to be up and about?"
She then continues on out the door.
Out of thread for now. Optimus, good with starting a new thread?

There's a look of... something behind Sentinel Prime's optics as Optimus Prime and Elita-1 leave together. Hurt? Bitterness? Confusion?
Maybe acceptance.
Optimus can have the crazy-spider-woman-in-training. He's welcome to her.
Sentinel Prime settles on heckling, "Yeah, see ya around, Optimus - if you screw up badly enough to clean out the oil depot for the rest of your life!"

"Of course, Elita," Perceptor replies somewhat distractedly as he studies all the information in the file, taking particular note of the photos as well as the "official" medication administration lists.
"What sort of imbecile..." he mutters, shaking his head. "Five minutes with that supposed 'doctor'. That is all I ask. 'Delusional ideations...' 'Batguano insa'... Some of this is not even correct medical terminology!"

Optimus represses the urge to respond as Sentinel yells behind him, it won't be any good for anyone. He just follows Elita out of the room.

Springer scowls at Sentinel - there's a small urge to smack him upside the head for that crack, but alas, Springer is not Gibbs, and Sentinel is not Tony.
Plus, it'd probably make Perceptor mad, smacking one of his patients.
So he settles for a frown. "Hey, you're not in -that- much trouble." Then he turns to Perceptor - "Anything useful in there?"

OOC: Hmm, maybe either a fade or a timeskip to questioning? Or maybe Sentinel Prime should just pass out for a while Springer and Perceptor talk? LMK.- - - Sentinel Prime grins when Springer says he's not in 'that much trouble', and he says, "And that, my friend, is good to know."

"Quite a bit," Perceptor replies absently. He's still paging through the file, though, scowling at the notes provided.
And committing those images to his memorybanks.
-------------
ooc: whatever works. Not sure Perc has any big questions for Springer at the moment, though, so perhaps a timeskip/scene change for questioning?

OOC: Timeskip is fine with me, and I'll just go ahead and do that. Perceptor's free to stick around and make sure Springer doesn't get too rough.
Springer frowns a bit at Sentinel. "Eh, don't get too comfortable." Then he turns to Perceptor. "I'll be back in a day, then. There's probably some kind of red tape hoops I gotta jump through after the meeting with Mon-T'ya and Buu'lock, but I'll be back for questioning.
--- The next day, Day 4...
Springer comes into the medbay, approaching Sentinel Prime's berth while carrying a datapad. He grabs a chair, and sets it beside Sentinel's berth, sitting on it backwards with the back of the chair in front of him.
"Alright, big blue. Let's talk, and start with the forty-thousand credit question - What in the fresh hell was on your mind that led you to run off on all of us?" Springer has frowny serious face!

OOC: Assuming this scene occurs before pretty Miss Elita-1 comes a'calling.- - - Sentinel Prime sits up as straight as he can and salutes Springer crisply. He explains, "I saw a pink Decepticon flying in the air, so I decided to pursue, sir. I've tangled with my own Starscream before," from behind his shield. "Wish I'd had some stasis cuffs on me, though. She ran off to her boyfriend... er, I mean, he ran off to his friend who was a girl. Some cops got all up in my grill, and then..." "...I saw her. The spider. Looked just like the ones that I thought killed Elita-1 - am I going to have to put this story in the databanks or something? Because I swear that I end up spilling my chips out about this to every Hot Shot, Prowl, and Bumblebee in the crew!" Not those people in specific. Said in the style of, 'every Tom, Dick, and Harry'. His hands clench a bit, and his chin juts out. "Then she vanished but kept heckling me over the radio, and it... spooked me. C'mon, you ever had a real pal die on you? Because you screwed up on her? Tell me how well you'd deal if you saw her killer." He amends, "Or what you would have sworn to the Allspark was her killer, before you knew worse."

Skipping Perceptor since his player says he's just milling about in the background
-----
Springer frowns slightly, resting his chin in one hand as Sentinel explains.
"I... I suppose I can't blame you for getting rattled when your past comes back to haunt you." Springer glances to where Perceptor is working. "I know it's happened to me a few times here already. However..." Springer looks back at Sentinel Prime. "We did need more help at the scene of the crash than we did actually confronting 'Cons."
Hello kettle, Springer's name is pot.
"I know I can't ask you to just abruptly put that stuff behind you, but I can ask you to try and not let it jeopardize future missions - if you're gonna get spooked like that every time you see a spider, then we have a problem."

"I prefer to look at it as stopping a problem before it could start, sir. What if that Decepticon had been a scout and had brought back reinforcements? I've always been one to take initiative," Sentinel Prime explains. "If someone didn't track him, he could have gone anywhere and gotten up to who knows what."
His friendly, reasonable façade falters though, as spiders are brought up. Sentinel Prime visibly twitches, but his conniving side provides him with a distraction, at least, "I might not be the only one in the crew with a problem with spiders, sir."

Springer's browridge cocks a bit at the bit about taking initiative. "An admirable sense of thinking ahead, but next time, check with whoever's leading the mission - we needed more hands helping to clean up the immediate fallout of the crash than we did someone chasing Decepticons."
Springer's shoulder shrugs a bit as Sentinel points out the potential existence of other arachnophobes. "Maybe so, but they didn't run off and get thrown in a loony bin by the authorities."
