Sorry Override, not that kind of psychic. However useful it would be to know not to walk into tension and drama filled rooms. Speaking of which, she can see why Slingshot was pissed off so badly. On the other hand, she came to try and stop the other jet from doing something stupid, not turning around and doing it herself, snarking comments to Skyblast over the radio aside.
Oracle almost says something about not being a clone but then Jetfire and Jetstorm come tumbling in, literally, and the mild chaos of the situation just sort of...expands.
Slingshot's outburst answers her questions and provides a bit more strength to her thought that maybe this isn't a good place for him to be. Attempting to see if he could develop powers of optic death beams is not helping his case.
When Override finally appears to have hit the limit of her patience, Oracle groans and bangs her head lightly against Slingshot's shoulder before shifting and grabbing his arm rather firmly as she radios Kup. "Excuse us please Override. I think things might go a whole lot smoother if I removed myself and Slingshot from the equation." If nothing else, it should reduce the potential sources for explosion a bit.
Dragging the Harrier toward the door she seems rather determined about this leaving thing, radioing Slingshot. //I already told Kup you were leaving, now come on!//
---------- OOC: Out of thread unless stopped, or Slingshot is resistant. Slingshot grabbed with permission.

Sentinel Prime visibly relaxes when Jetfire and Jetstorm arrive, giving him some familiar faces in this ocean of confusion.
So, either Jetfire and Jetstorm are confused, compromised and lying, or telling the truth. If the twins are confused, that is situation normal, but that doesn't jive with what McChosen OnePants Rodimus Prime is saying - that these jokers really are Autobots, just different Autobots. It's highly unlikely that Jetfire, Jetstorm, and Rodimus Prime are all confused at the same time about the same thing.
So that leaves two viable options: they're telling the truth, or this is a huge conspiracy. If it's a conspiracy, it seems like absolutely everyone around here is in on it, and Sentinel Prime is clearly doomed, as the one man who sees it for what it is. So perhaps he'd better just play along with the nonsense that these people are spouting off so that he doesn't let on that he knows what they're up to, which is equivalent to acting as if he believes it's the truth.
But maybe these really are real Autobots. Really infuriating Autobots.
Sentinel Prime can't help roaring at Slingshot, "And you, winglet, are disrespecting a superior officer and inciting insubordination, and when I am back in my jurisdiction, I'll have you rebuilt into an autoclave!"
Then the car calls down red light from the ceiling and pulls a gun. One of Sentinel Prime's optics gets very small and the other becomes comically large. For one moment, spikes extend from his shield, and his grip on it changes, as if he's ready to throw it. Then, instead, Sentinel Prime dives off to the side and extends a forcefield bubble around himself from his shield, as he shouts, "Mother of molybdenum!"
Sentinel Prime calls to the twins, "Jetfire, Jetstorm - get out of her line of fire." Then, to Override, he snaps, "Woman, if you're trying to convince me that you're on my side, you are doing a very, very bad job."
At least the insubordinate new jet and the Starscream clone defector are leaving.

Jetfire looks startled by Slingshot's hostility. He is just being a good little soldier, after all! He begins to protest defensively, "But he is still being-"
He is cut off quite suddenly as Override shouts loudly and calls red light to her gun from somewhere. He cannot help but stare at her, stunned, with his mouth hanging open. That was certainly one of the stranger things he has seen. His mouth snaps shut as Override commands everyone to shut up and calm down, and humbly shuffles out of way as Oracle tries to drag Slingshot out of the room.
Still, he finds himself mumbling, "-still being highest ranking Elite Guard officer around..."
Then Sentinel commands him to get out her line of fire, and has to scratch his head in slight confusion. Her current line of fire is toward the ceiling, is it not? He has no wish to be near the ceiling.

Jetstorm winces at Slingshot, planning to echo Jetfire, but then Override calls down the power of Primus, and now Slingshot's being dragged out.
Where Jetfire is quiet about the line of fire comment, Jetstorm is not. "But Sentinel Prime, sir, she is pointing at the ceiling. We are on the ground..." Then he rubs the back of his head. "Perhaps we should be explaining about strange universe situation..." he says, glancing to Override, then back to Sentinel. "We...are not being where we are coming from, sir. It is like we have been transwarped to somewhere else....and somewhen else."

"Superior officer?" Slingshot squawks. "You aren't any superior officer of mine!"
Then Override pulls out her gun, and Oracle tries to drag him out of the room. This- This is a pretty good idea, actually, and he goes along with being pulled out.

Slingshot's out of thread.

Override shrugs, bringing her gun down to do so, as Sentinel points out what a poor job she's doing at convincing.
"Hey, I'm just trying to get all you idiots to calm down!" she says.
Okay, she's probably doing a bad job at that, too.
Absently, she reaches one hand out to hit a button on her gun, folding back the barrels and releasing the power of Primus. Then she plops herself back into her seat and sets the disarmed gun next to her on the control console.
"Slingshot has a point about ranks back home not meaning that much here, though. I mean, heck, back home I ruled my home-world." She shrugs. "Here I'm another soldier, and I accept that. The ones we got in charge seem to be better suited to these particular circumstances." She pauses. "That, and a vote went down before I got here."
Then she peers at Sentinel, optics narrowed thoughtfully (and a bit suspiciously). "Besides, I thought 'Prime' from your reality didn't mean what it did in most others!"

Sentinel Prime shoots a glare at the departing jetboy, gets up, dusts himself off, and drops the forcefield, though he continues to hold the metal shield itself. it's a wonder he hasn't thrown it at anyone yet. He wants to.
At Jetstorm's explanation, he scoffs, "Somewhen else? Have you kids been reading that 'fiction' stuff? It'll rot your circuitboards, and it's unpatriotic, besides. You should be hitting the history vids." The glorious, edited history (propaganda) videos of how the heroic Autobots totally defeated the cowardly Decepticons and Cybertron is now perfectly safe.
Perhaps at the root of that desire to fling his shield is that people keeping calling him 'dense' or an 'idiot' or argh! Sentinel Prime snaps, "I'll have you know that I am the Commander of the Elite Guard, you-" - wait, did she just say that she used to rule a planet? Obviously some overly rebellious and uppity colony, since he's never heard of them, and that means they don't recognise the rightful rule of the Magnus over all Transformers, but still. A planet. It's nothing to shake a stick at - "-your majesty," he finishes smoothly, mouth twitching into just a slight smile as his optics narrow.
He puts the shield away entirely, when the rest of her words catch up with him. He looks faintly gobsmacked. "Reality?"

"We have not be fictioning, sir!" Jetfire says. "Somewhen is correct! When I am first arriving back on planet Gillanan III, I am coming from different when than Jetstorm. And possibly you too, Sentinel Prime, sir."
He glances over at Override. "This is a different reality from the one we are coming from, sir, and many of the bots here are being from even more different realities!"
Well, at least Sentinel seems to be calming down and has not ordered him and Jetstorm to do anything that might be... awkward to comply with. Jetfire is still a bit confused about which commanding officer he is supposed to follow over another.

Jetstorm clenches his jaw a bit, and if he had visible optics, they'd narrow in Sentinel's direction. He wants to talk about unpatriotic? How about when he was paying off Lockdown to capture Decepticons, and took the credit? Or refusing to call for help from Cybertron on the way home, because he didn't wanna get in trouble from the higher-ups?
Hmph.
He keeps quiet about that for now. And now Sentinel is backpedaling... Sigh.
"Yes, reality, sir."

'Majesty'?
Override looks a little startled over the sudden switch in tone and attitude coming from the strange blue dude with the chin, but she shakes it off. "Just 'Override' is fine," she chuckles. "Or 'champ'." She's not going to go into how she got chosen just now, because most outsiders think it's weird. She doesn't see why, though. Don't people generally want a leader that possesses lots of the qualities they value? And what's wrong with setting up a system that ensures the leader has these qualities? It's all perfectly reasonable!
"And yeah, 'realities'. That's what we've all been trying to explain all along! Now look..." She leans forward on the terminal she's using, presses a button, and a small holographic display is activated. This is of a solar system - three planets, an asteroid band, and some more planets. She points to the third one. There are several lights on one of the continent, forming a notable pattern.
"For some reason no one can figure out, Transformers keep appearing on this planet right here out of no where. One minute, we're back where we were, doing what we were doing, and the next, bang, we're at one of these spots that are marked." She looks up at Sentinel. "Thing is, after talking around, we figured out that we aren't all from the same universe. Like... like... imagine a world where, uhm... uhm... I don't know. Five years ago, when you drove left when you could have taken a right turn. Now imagine that somewhere out there, there's a parallel world where you did take that right turn, and it changes everything later on, a chain reaction. So even though you don't know it, there are two yous. One that took the left turn, and one that took the right."
"Now imagine that the... the splits, they come earlier, or they come later, and... and you can't always tell what causes them. Like, if you go all the way back to the beginning of Transformers, some were even built or sparked or whatever for different reasons, and in different ways. But sometimes, even though things way back at the beginning were different, you end up with something similar later on." She pauses and rubs her chin. "Like, uhm... the world where you turned right. That's a difference, but the you that turned right is still going to be mostly similar to the you that turned left? Now, if you go all the way back to the start and change things, you get bigger differences, but you still get similar stuff, too."
"Anyway, we kept getting pulled into these spots on this world, but we were getting pulled from, well, these different realities that happen because things happened different. Not only that, but we don't just get pulled from the same time as it is right now - we get pulled from different times. So, uhm... you might meet someone who has the same name as someone you know. Maybe they are that person, but older or younger than they should be, to you. Or maybe they are another version of that person, so you wouldn't even really recognize them at all."
"Like I said, we don't know why or how it's happening yet, but when we decided to try to look at the center of the pattern," she points. "There we found a big crater with some meteorites in it." Override then points to the metal rocks in the room. "Those are the rocks. We, uhm, found out that when we took those from the circle, people started appearing at them."
Override looks up at the others and takes a deep breath. "Those rocks, that meteorite that hit... they're from Cybertron, and we don't know how or why it got over here. But now we're going to find out."

So Jetfire and Jetstorm are continuing to go on about this reality nonsense, huh? Champ there explains it a bit better.
For a moment, just a moment, even the hidebound and stubborn Sentinel Prime does let himself imagine that his life could have been something other than what it is now. He likes what he has well enough, he has to say. He's the Commander of the Elite Guard, right under Ultra Magnus, who will surely suffer a short circuit and conk out any millennia now.
What could he possibly change to improve on perfection?
He imagines that he never goaded Optimus and Elita-1 into looking for that crashed Decepticon ship. That would change everything, really.
Sentinel Prime raises a hand to his forehead as if he has a headache. She wants to him to think about that sort of thing on an even bigger scale? He crosses his arms, frowning, and demands, "And we have no idea who is behind this yet?" as if asking her will magically make her know the answer that she just told him she doesn't have. A pause. "And was that really Per- er- a Perceptor, then?"
There is a mild look of panic in his optics as she mentions meteorites from Cybertron. Pieces? Of home? But that's inconceivable! He even says so. "Pieces of Cybertron? That's inconceivable!"
Perhaps he does not know what that word means.

Override is much better at explaining all this than Jetfire is, probably because she also has a better understanding of what is going on than he does. He was content with 'you are in a different universe'. So he remains quiet as she speaks, nodding now and then, and finds he has nothing to add afterward. Sentinel even seems to accept her explanation! That is very good news.
Instead of speaking, he simply looks at Jetstorm and shrugs slightly, with a silent 'what can you do?'

Jetstorm shrugs back, then turns his attention back to Sentinel.
"Well, given that it is being here, it seems to me that is able to be conceived," he says in regards to the hunk of Cybertron. "And yes, that was being Perceptor on the radio. Just not our Perceptor."

"I'm not sure that word means what you're thinking it means, Sentinel," Override says absently as she glances up over at the rocks. "Anyway, like I said, we don't know why there were pieces of Cybertron on Gillanan III. We just know they were there." She doesn't answer his question about Perceptor, because Jetstorm has that handled. Instead she answers the other question. "We don't know who's been yanking us over here, no, but there's a lot of folks who think it has something to do with this guy." She leans forward to tap at the holo-display's controls again, then hesitates and looks up. "I, uhm, should warn you that this is... pretty disturbing. I wasn't around for the first time it got played, and I'm glad of that - just watching the mini-version when you've had a warning is bad enough. It explains why the planet we arrived on wasn't inhabited, despite having buildings and alla that stuff." And then, with a touch, she runs a small sized reproduction of the Unicron newscast shown many months before.

Sentinel Prime is about to say any number of misinformed, ill-conceived things when Override pops out a hologram. He even starts to say, "I don't have time for-"
Then his jaw drops and hangs loose and open. His fingers twitch, and there might just be the faint smoky scent of Sentinel Prime's CPU melting.
Unicron. He's a lot to take in for someone who thinks having a Fortress Maximus base with a compensation super-laser makes one pretty much top dog.
