Rodimus shakes his head. "Nothing that I can think of right now, although we need to be looking over our reserves and planning our next planetfall pretty quickly here, I think."

Emirate Xaaron looks over Rodimus Prime, looking to see if there is anything he isn't saying.
Then, he agrees, "That we do. I wish I knew more of space warfare, I must admit."

"You think in three dimensions and figure out how to manage resources because there's a good chance you'll have to go a long while without," Rodimus answers cheerfully as he looks over the games list on his datapad.
"You used to hide out in the Cybertron tunnels, so I'm betting you're already a natural at both of those!"

"Mmm. Flattery," Emirate Xaaron murmurs, optics dimmed, and his tone wavering just a hint pleased.
"Tunnes are constructed and constrained. Space is so vast, wide and empty, open. It's like a vast plain, but worse."

"So track down those people in the crew who've done a lot of space fighting, or just space flight, and grill them?" Rodimus suggests. Granted, that means he's offering himself up for the grilling, as he's done a decent amount of space combat himself, both small unit when he was a scout for Fortress Maximus, and with larger vessels, though he has a bit less experience there.
"A lot of it's a matter of figuring out blind-spots, though, either from ship design or what's in the environment." He frowns and shakes his head. "We don't really know enough about the Decepticon vessel to compare strengths and weaknesses, figure out what we've got over it and what it has over us. We should probably see about finding out."

Rodimus Prime may then find Emirate Xaaron harassing him, if Emirate Xaaron even stumbles upon that part of Rodimus Prime's dossier again or is reminded.
He listens raptly to Rodimus Prime's advice, crossing his hands under his chin.
"Better to keep Intel busy. Better to keep everyone busy, really."

"We've actually got the advantage there, for once," Rodimus observes, pulling his feet up onto the berth with him and putting the bottoms of them together in as close as he can get to 'Indian style.' he leans forward over them, arms rested on legs, optics narrowed, considering. "At least, as far as actual Transformers go. As of last update, we had more personel capable of moving independantly in space, which should make it easier to get a peek at whatever they've got without bringing this thing," and now he points down, towards the floor, "close enough for them to look back. That's in theory, anyway, and assumes they haven't caught up since then. Plus, they could have had space-capable drones or probes built pretty easily."
He frowns a moment, considering, and then says more loudly, "We need to get Omega Supreme flying solo for awhile." Oh, sure, send the big guy out.

Emirate Xaaron isn't used to having a Space Force. Usually, the Decepticons dominate, there. It's nice, though. He taps one finger against his lower lip thoughtfully, and he notes, "Yeeesss, but we have a distinct lack of coverage in communications, decryption, and encryption."
If only a Blaster or a magical good Soundwave or someone would show up! He'd even take Red Alert!
"Would solo be entirely wise? Not that I doubt his ability to handle himself, but... I doubt his ability to handle himself."

"Well, getting Omega Supreme out there would help increase our communications coverage, but I'm not sure he's much good with decryption and encryption. Maybe we can send Holi out with him?" Rodimus suggests. Then he frowns and rubs his chin as he mulls things over.
"Oh. But I guess that if Omega runs into something he can't handle, Holi won't help much, either. We could send Skyfire out as well, or even just Synapse if we're just looking for someone to get a message back if his comms go out."

Emirate Xaaron sees that he needs to clarify, and he holds up a hand. "I mean - I am not certain about sending him out on his own with no way of relaying word back, if communications are cut. I doubt that beings of his overall power level are common, but there was the alternate Omega Supreme, and I suspect your own alternate would have been a match for him."

Rodimus lowers his chin and props his upper body up with his arms. "All right. Then Synapse would probably be the better choice. He's small enough that he's more likely to be overlooked, and can act to relay messages back if something goes wrong with comms. Synapse is so small that only a few of us can actually ride him, but I think Holi's on the list, and meanwhile, we'll still have Je- Skyfire if we need to send someone else out." Having two Jetfires is bad enough, but it's even worse when the Skyfire you have on hand looks an aweful lot like a Jetfire you've known in the past!

And it is only going to get worse, Prime.
Jetjetfirefirestormstorm.
But that hasn't happened yet.
"But... plans contingent on specific people have a nasty way of falling through, I've found. We'll see what happens."

Wait a minute. Firestorm?
"Maybe so, but to being specific is just to rebuild all of us with space-capable alternate modes!" Rodimus grins up at Emirate Xaaron, then looks down at his datapad and makes a face. "Man, I miss Ultra Magnus. Well. Our Ultra Magnus." He looks up at Emirate Xaaron and smirks. "He's the one who used to read all the tedious, 'This is how the base is working, this is our supply status' reports for me."

Emirate Xaaron smirks and leans back, observing, "The Transformers from Bumblebee's universe can do that."
He looks somewhat pained when Rodimus Prime mentions his Ultra Magnus, because Rodimus Prime's Ultra Magnus is Emirate Xaaron's Ultra Magnus, a later-born child of the Matrix Flame, created for Operation: Volcano and sent to Earth, eventually fighting a creation of the Chaos God himself.
Emirate Xaaron does feel a bit guilty, here in his room, with only the Prime as witness.
He looks down at his hands and says softly, "I miss him, too." He looks up. "Though I was wondering if this one plays full-stasis."

"Only if we can find a space ship small enough!" Rodimus answers as Emirate Xaaron points out the abilities of one of the more unusual realities represented. He pauses a moment, then adds, "Which Synapse might be, come to think of it..." he murmurs.
He frowns as Emirate Xaaron... Emirate Xaaron! seems to go melancholy. He scoots to the edge of his bed and reaches a comforting hand towards Emirate Xaaron, one that seems to hover uncertainly, as though waiting permission to land. "Well, maybe... ask him?" he suggests. Simple enough, right?
