OOC:- This presumably takes place around Day 36 or later. I'm led to understand Xaaron's on monitor duty here, but I s'pose any other Autobots are fair game too.
---
"YEEEOOOOWCH!"
Windcharger sits up quickly, clutching his head. As surges go, that one was a kick in the processor - like the worst case of energon afterburn ever. But at least it's faded quickly. More or less, anyway...
When the static's mostly cleared from his optics (if not his head), he quickly scans round and realises he's not where he remembers being. Last he knew, he was in New Mexico, lying next to Wheeljack, with a bunch of scurrying EDC technicians. Now... where? And how long was he out? And why does it feel like he's moving even though he's sitting still? And... is he laying on rocks?
He tries to get up, but it turns out it's not just his head that hurts - pretty much everything else does, and the static's just come back. But slag it, he reasons; he wants answers. And maybe a medibot. Now, where's an exit..?

Emirate Xaaron is on watch, because he's trying to literally demonstrate the adage that a commander should never ask anything of his men that he isn't willing to do himself.
There is probably someone else watching with him, but then again, there might not be. If there is, it just might be Slingshot.
Rock watching is mostly boring. But that's fine. It gives him time to think. Time to plan. Time to scheme.
Maybe time to teach Slingshot how to be a huge jerk of an Autobot and get away with it, if Slingshot's there.
He's leaning against a wall absently, a datapad in hand. When Windcharger arrives, he pushes away from the wall and subspaces the datapad. He greets, "Hello, there. Would you be a Windcharger?"

The fact that Slingshot is usually on rock duty is probably the only thing that keeps him from actively killing people or locking himself in the sim-room. By this time, he's gotten pretty good at handling it, if by 'good' you don't include 'friendly' as a requirement.
"How did you do that?" He asks Xaaron when the gold 'bot identifies the short-stick. Slingshot still hadn't really gotten most of the non-Bumblebee, non-Powerglide, non-Warpath short Autobots' names down.

Were there people here last time he looked? Windcharger smacks his head a couple of times in a vague effort to recalibrate his optics, and it seems to work, to some extent at least. Still with some static in his vision, he looks groggily at the mech addressing him.
"Yeah, that's me. Am I expected, or was that a... really good guess?" He doesn't recognise the gold mech, but given his apparent association with Slingshot, he's presumably an Autobot. He was about ready to clobber the first mech he saw, but he's willing to hold off for now. At least he knows there's one friendly face here... or as friendly as Slingshot gets, anyway.

Emirate Xaaron glances over at Slingshot, gestures at Windcharger, and explains, "I made a point of being able to identify as many of the Autobot troops in my reality as I could. Being able to rapidly identify friend from foe was a life-saving skill." Just ask Optimus Prime.
Windcharger does not appear to be trying to instantly murder Emirate Xaaron, so Emirate Xaaron is going to go out on a limb and decide that Windcharger is currently pretty harmless. Go ahead, prove him wrong. He takes a few steps forward and offer Windcharger a hand up or just a hand to steady him, as needed.
"Neither, really. There is a Windcharger in my reality. He looks like you, but I rather doubt you're him. Slingshot, why don't you explain the situation?"
Slingshot's social and communication skills could use the workout.

Slingshot makes note of that. Learn who people are; how's he supposed to learn the people he never had time to meet? Eh, he'll go bug Perceptor over it.
"Right." The Aerialbot folds his arms. "What's your last timestamp? That's the last date and time before you woke up here. Here is the Autobot spaceship Event Horizon, and we're heading to Cybertron." A pause. Xaaron probably wants more of an explanation than that. "We're all from different universes and we got yanked here for no one knows why. If there's something you were wanting to do back home, tough, you can't, 'cause no one knows how to get back."

Okay, of all the potential explanations he was ready for, that wasn't on the list.
"Different... universes..?" He repeats Slingshot's words, making sure he's got it straight. "As in... alternate realities?" A beat, as he gets his processor round the words. "That's AWESOME!"
Probably not the reaction they were expecting. Windcharger's heard passing mentions of this kinda thing before, but he always seems to miss out on the fun. He's actually so excited he's virtually forgotten about the static surges and the fact that he can't quite see straight.
He quickly provides Slingshot with the timestamp he's after before he forgets.
"So, where are we? How long have you guys been here? What's happened..?" ...are just three of the questions fired off by the now somewhat hyperactive Autobot...

Emirate Xaaron thinks playing cards are a good way to learn identities. Poker would be a good way to get Slingshot be more social, too! That's it - Emirate Xaaron totally needs to invite Swerve and Slingshot for poker.
He quirks an optical ridge at Windcharger's enthusiasm, but he doesn't show outward signs of shock, aside from that. "I've been here, oh, two years now." Not long for robots who live millions of years but still entirely too long, considering what was happening when he left. "I'm Emirate Xaaron by the way. Current Autobot commander here. We've somewhat near a planet called Gillanan III, but by this point in time, I believe were closer to the Pz-Zazz system. If those names mean anything to you. As for what's happened... well... that is a very long story."

Poker would probably work a lot better with Slingshot than any other method. Familiarize him with people, and give him something to be competitive over.
Other people may want to strangle Xaaron before the first day of Slingshot playing poker is out, but you can't have everything.
Slingshot glowers at Windcharger's enthusiasm on general principles. "'Bout a year and a half for me," he volunteers.

Windcharger might have heard some passing reference to Pz-Zazz at some point. He can't remember if that was in his reality or not, though; this stuff gets very confusing. If he's honest, he probably hasn't heard of it, or maybe he just doesn't remember. Neither would be new for him.
Poker probably wouldn't be much use to him, as he'd most likely get bored after a few hands and... knock the king over or something (is that poker?). That said, he's never tried it before, so he might like it. Not that he's even considering it at the moment, since he's not a mind reader.
"So... probably in it for the long haul, then." he notes. "Where do we start?"
Actually, one of his first ports of call really ought to be whatever counts for a repair bay round here. This futzing's gonna get real annoying if it's not looked at soon. Man, he hopes that doesn't take long to fix...

People always want to strangle Emirate Xaaron.
He asks Windcharger, "Does your reality have sparks, lasercores, brain modules, or something else? Tell us a bit about your reality's history?"
He back-pedals and explains, "It'll help us figure out if you're from a new reality of if you might already have friends here. You're not from my reality, I can say that much right now. Then, Kup will want to talk to you. Do you know a Kup?"
Interview with Kup will likely be 'offscreen', as Kup is kind of tired of interviews.

Slingshot stands around, looking surly. Xaaron's got this pretty well in hand, and Windcharger isn't trying to drive Slingshot to a murderous rage, unlike some other mechs we will not name. But they have ginormous chins.

OOC: For the record, Windcharger's from what the Transcendent Technomorphs might call "Universal Stream Primax 402.4 Gamma" - the Dreamwave timeline.
"Aww -- history?" This is not a specialist subject for him. "Dammit, okay. In order, sparks, and yeah, I know a Kup. "Uhhh... Came to Earth... did stuff... won the war, more or less... about to go back to Cybertron when our shuttle blew up... stasis lock for a while... bunch of us got reanimated by some spawn-of-a-glitch human - Laza-somethin'? Megatron used some kinda technovirus to try and make a new Cybertron of Earth, but that got stopped... Shockwave came back to take us back to Cybertron, which he said he'd unified... Prime went back with most of the Autobots and Decepticons, but left me on Earth with Jazz and a few others... Starscream came back with a team'a 'Cons, and sicced Bruticus on us. Think I went offline there somewhere.
"Next thing I remember, I'm back online with the Earth Defence Command techs patching me up. Now I'm here. I don't think they got finished with me, though..."
Windcharger winces at another surge, then looks up at Xaaron quizzically.
"Any help..?"

Windcharger's vision becomes completely fogged with static again, like a TV with no clear signal. He can't even see Xaaron right in front of his face. "Err, guys - is there anyone around here I can see about getting patched up? My sensors are driving me crazy here!"

Emirate Xaaron listens to Windcharger's explanation, but when Windcharger falters and asks for a medic, his expression turns momentarily distressed. "You should have said sooner! Slingshot, we should take him to medical at once."
