The look Wreckage fixes on Soundwave is as indifferent as Soundwave's tone is neutral. He makes no move to change his position or follow Soundwave at all.
"You are from a point beyond any of ours," he starts flatly. Ours. He is not the only Decepticon of Soundwave's kind here, after all. The question is at the very top of the queue but goes unsaid: what of Lord Megatron and the All Spark?

Ah, yes. Lord Megatron and the Allspark. It was as good a place to start as any.
"Lord Megatron was freed from human experimentation. Afterward he led a team against the Autobots and their human allies for possession of the Allspark," Soundwave begins. "The Autobots were victorious...Their human ally plunged the Allspark into Megatron's chest, killing him. Barricade, Starscream, and Scorponok were the only survivors. You were not present during the battle. According Starscream you had betrayed us by giving information to the humans."
Soundwave lets the information sink in for a second. before continuing. "Apparently you were offline for a time. You were destroyed by Starscream soon after you awoke," Soundwave says, pausing for a second before letting Wreckage hear 'the good news.' " Lord Megatron is still salvageable. The humans have retained shards of the Allspark that can be used for his revival. Before I was pulled, I had already discovered the area where the humans buried Megatron's body as well as the locations of two shards of the Allspark. Reinforcements have already been stationed on Earth, with several more waiting aboard the Nemesis. We lack the Energon to expand our army any further. However, The Fallen knows of a way to solve that dilemma..."
When mentioning The Fallen, Soundwave speaks with even more reverence than he does when talking about Lord Megatron. Though, adding a title such as Lord to The Fallen would sound completely ridiculous...

Before Wreckage can react to any of this news, there is a sound of incredulous laughter from an intersecting corridor not far away. Perhaps "laughter" is not quite the right word. Something between a rumbling cackle and a series of choking snorts erupts from that hidden corridor, and a moment or two later, Barricade stumbles out, one hand gripping the wall as if to keep him upright.
"Wreckage? Betrayed us? Decepticons?!" Barricade chokes out between cackles. "Wreckage? Now I know you're full of slag! You almost had me at Megatron being salvagable! That's slagging rich!"
Wreckage being a traitor is about as likely as Barricade swearing off lying and taking up macramé.

On one hand, Wreckage knows himself well enough to know that he would never betray the Decepticons. More, he does not know Soundwave or if the other Decepticon enjoys pushing buttons the way Barricade does. On the other hand, Wreckage cannot see the future. The prospect of losing Lord Megatron is a disturbing one, but he can supposedly brought back; that is not nearly so troubling news. Lord Megatron is, after all, their leader.
Perhaps the Wreckage whom Soundwave knows is some alternate version. There has been a lot of that running around lately.
But there is no chance for Wreckage to speak in his own defence before Barricade pops up like the pest he is, laughing and… defending Wreckage. This earns a blank stare from the Stryker.

"As I have said, Starscream was the one who informed me of Wreckage's apparent betrayal," Soundwave said in the the same monochromatic tone, not indicating his slight annoyance with Barricade. He's also not going to try and defend himself. What could he possibly gain from lying to his comrades. " I do know that you were in the custody of the human organization known as Sector Seven for a time. I do not know what occurred during that period."

Ah, yes. Starscream. Who gleefully stole the credit for Tyger Pax that was rightfully Barricade's. The rather indeicate snort Barricade gives is all the answer he will offer for his opinion of the reliability of that particular witness.
The expression upon Wreckage's faceplates, however, is worth whatever irritation having that memory stirred up brings. To spur any reaction out of the taciturn Stryker is always a bonus. To stir that near slack-jawed stare of disbelief? Totally worth that breaking of his cover. Totally worth that moment of honesty, even if it does mean revealing to Wreckage just how much the infiltrator actually trusts him. If Wreckage actually catches that little point, that is.

A captive of humans? Wreckage finds the idea as likely as Bonecrusher inviting him for tea and cake, and his nasal ridge reshapes slightly in an expression of disbelief and distaste at the thought. If some version of himself is weak enough to fall to humans, then that wretch deserves to die.
"When does this occur?" he wonders. Is he captured after Starscream mobilises them?

Soundwave takes a minute to look through his memory banks for the date Wreckage was captured by the humans. After a moment, Soundwave scratches his chin and asks Wreckage, "At what point were you pulled?"

"The one doesn't depend on the other," Barricade sighs, crossing his arms over his ample chest as he leans against the wall. "It's a simple timestamp. Unless, of course, it's all just a figment of your overclocked CPU."

Wreckage gives Barricade an icy look before settling his gaze on Soundwave again. He does not particularly like having his own question dodged and as juvenile as it is, he stands his ground and prompts Soundwave, voice flat.
"You have yet to answer me." Because I asked you first is too petulant.
