Day 40
Spinister is better at making things than he lets on. He still looks lost and out of place in the common laboratory for those on Ship who do not merit their own workspaces. Looking lost is mostly an act.
Several rations of energon are set out on a counter. Spinister rarely uses the excess he is due, and so dipping into his stockpile isn't taxing. He stares at the cubes in silence. There is some way to compress energon into more compact and energy-dense goodies, but he isn't familiar with that process. However, there are ways to add additives to make energon more delicious or enticing, and Spinister...
...well, he's worked the Decepticon equivalent of Vice Squad.
His hands shake a little as he goes for some of the distillery tools. What he has in mind would be very, very illegal in his home reality, and the thought of it really makes him feel a bit ill, but he reassures himself that neither Starscream nor now Shockwave have ever said a word about recreational chemicals.
Time to clean some glassware.

The kitchen door opened briefly and then shut soon afterwards, seemingly it seemed nothing had entered at all. But that was the way Ravage wanted it to be. He'd explored a lot of the Ship already, but now was starting to feel alone. For him lonesomeness was more of an issue then most, yet most of the ones on this ship hung around in groups.
Keeping his distance and to the walls, Ravage slowly prowled around wondering what the Deception was up to. He eyed over the tools and cubes laid out, then again glanced towards the bot in question. The feline like Ravage finding a spot to lay down where he had a good view to watch him work.
With eyes alert and watching everything, his tail was mostly still save for the end which coiled back and forth. While not hiding per say, he wasn't doing anything to make anyone aware he was there, save unless they looked his way by chance.

Spinister is extremely situationally aware, and he's usually even aware of what the situation actually is, rather just what he thinks it might be.
He hears the door open and close, feels the rush of the stale, canned air of the ship against the rotor blades on his back. He grips the scoopula in his hand a bit too tightly, like he might use it as a knife or throw it, if push comes to shove.
Someone has entered the room and is being fairly quiet about it. There's nothing wrong with being quiet. Quiet is good. Spinister is usually very quiet. But he's quiet because quiet can be dangerous, surely a better weapon than the scoopula.
In a seemingly clumsy moment, Spinister drops the scoopula on the floor, and it clatters off behind him. He turns around, crouches, and reaches out his left hand for the chemistry tool - ah, hello. One of the new Ravages, then.
His fingers clasp around the scoopula, and he simply nods to Ravage, not saying anything.

Ravage nodded his head back towards Spinister, however he kept back and silent for a few moments. However he was watching and wondering just what the other Decepticon was up to. Shifting around slightly he rose up and moved a little closer, his head tilted to the side.
“What are you doing?” He asked as he eyed over the cubes and the other tools. Walking over nearer, he sniffed one of the cubes. “What are these things anyway?” He turned his head looking to Spinister again.

Spinister straightens himself out and gently sets the scoopula in the sink for washing. He turns around to leans against the working counter or the laboratory, eschewing the high stool, and he stares at Ravage contemplatively for a long moment.
With humans, most humans can make those packaged mix brownies. They're pretty brainless to make. Most humans can even add icing to the brownies and sprinkles. Despite the simplicity of making them, these brownies are generally pretty good. Energon is a bit more difficult to work with than brownie mix, insofar as energon is explosive, but there are some simple, easy energon recipes that crank out decent results. Nothing compared to the work of a real chemist, of course, just like those package mix brownies are nothing like a dessert prepared by a proper chef.
So it's like Spinister is making the Decepticon equivalent of package mix brownies. And putting the Decepticon equivalent of crack in them.
He really doesn't want to explain that he is making a dessert treat that was illegal in his own reality, so he considers what he can say.
Spinister also considers what Ravage is actually asking and what it says about this Ravage. Spinister asks, "Don't have energon cubes in your reality? What do you use for fuel?" There, Ravage can infer that energon cubes are a fuel source, but Spinister'll get some information about Ravage's reality for his trouble.
Now, the first question. "Getting ready to increase the density of the liquid in these cubes."

Ravage tilts his head to the side, thinking for a few moment on how to answer. And doing much like Spinister did, he thinks about the question and answer he's been given so far and what they say. “I think they have energon cubes, I don't really know.” He pauses wondering how else to explain. “I was “born” on Earth, so I mostly used human fuel sources.”
He again sniffed at one of the cubes, it was a strange thing to him. What was also strange however was his own actions, normally he would of hung back and watched. Yet this time he'd walked right up.
“Oh I see.” He finally nodded his head when told what Spinister was doing. “Sounds interesting.” And he did mean it as well, he had a lot to learn from the others. His tail lazily swung back and forth, been careful not to hit anything or anyone with it. “So this Energon is the main fuel most use it is?” His gaze turned from one of the cubes to his fellow Decepticon.

And Ravage does indeed reveal some interesting things. 'Born on Earth'. Young, then, most likely. Not old like Spinister's own Ravage. Might have energon cubes there in that reality, but Ravage is more familiar with the human fuel sources.
Spinister comments as Ravage sniffs at the cube, "Your rations here will be allotted as energon cubes, unless you're unable to process them. Most of those who have arrived here use energon." Maybe they're just a tiny percentage, and maybe most realities run off peanut butter. Spinister wouldn't know. Spinister also wouldn't know if Ravage is acting strange. He's only met Ravage now.
He carefully slits open a cube and pours the liquid in a pressure vessel before sliding a thermometer into the vessel, hooking up the pressure vessel to a pressure line, and settling the pressure vessel into a bath of absolute zero molecules to keep it cool.

Nodding his head slowly Ravage took in everything he was told. “I guess I can have it this way, I've never tried it.” He shook his head before tilting it to one side. “Smells...heh nice.” He does smile and then moves back some so he can watch Spinister work. Even though he would of loved to ask what he was doing, he didn't want to interrupt either. Plus chances were he would never be able to do something like this himself anyway.
After watching the liquid be poured into the tube then the coolant, he was just guess what the Decepticon was doing really. “Can I help at all?” He finally asked, he wanted to genuinely help he also didn't want to be alone. Figuring he could try and offer, would at least give him a reason to linger and stay here.
Of course this was a chance as well for someone wanting a willing test subject, who wouldn't know either way what Energon was meant to taste like or do.

Package brownie mix. Except explosive. Anyone reasonably intelligent, careful, and able to follow directions could do most of what Spinister intends to do here.
The drugging part is a bit different, though.
Spinister pours a small portion of the unaltered energon into a dish and sets it down on the floor, indicating, "Try it." Then they can know for sure if Ravage can drink energon or not.
He considers as Ravage asks if he can help. Most of the steps are pretty harmless. Spinister gestures, left-handed again, over at one of the cabinets, and he directs, "Get me the little cube moulds. Second shelf up from the floor, on your left."

The feline like transformer leaned down towards the dish that was placed down for him, sniffing it he had opened his mouth about to lap some up when Spinister spoke again. His testing and trying of the energon would wait as he listened to the request. Turning off towards the cabinet Ravage smiled and then darted off towards it.
On his four legs he looked up before lifting himself up, front paws on the lower shelf so he could poke around with his nose. Once he found the cube moulds, teeth gripped ahold before they were carried back in his mouth.
Ravage was young, like anyone young he was keen to help and prove himself. He also needed to be around someone else, so for him this was perfect. Moving up along side Spinister he leaned up and carefully placed down the moulds. Once done his body dropped back down to all fours from the kitchen top, his tail happily swaying before his attention turned back to the dish.
Moving back over, his head lowered and this time he lapped up some of the fluid. Pulling back up, a shudder ran down his back and all through his body. His tongue flicking to lick over his muzzle lips a few times. “Interesting.” He whispered, his body shifting slightly before his hind quarter sat down.

Spinister nods in thanks to Ravage, but he doesn't say anything. Spinister tends to be quiet. He washes out the cube moulds and carefully dries them off.
Spinister watches Ravage's reaction to the normal, untainted energon. Huh. The shudder seemed a bit odd, but no obvious poisoning reaction, no sudden death. Empirically, Spinister is going to declare that energon is probably safe for Ravage.
Ravage is faintly reminding Spinister of the hellhounds he sometimes worked with in his own reality. Obviously a cat and not a dog, more timid, too, but more intelligent, as well.
Spinister leans in over his work, checking the temperature and pressure of the chilled, compressed energon. When it is cooled and compressed just so, the molecules will collapse together, rearranging into a denser phase.
Or explode.
Spinister hopes it doesn't explode. That would be a bother.

Ravage felt a buzz running through his mind, an interesting feeling which he figured must of come from the energon. It wasn't unpleasant, far from it but it was moving quickly all along his body. It was the cause of his shudder, the feline bike bot looking down at the dish again for a moment.
But indeed Ravage was able to take in the normal energon with no major ill effects, thus it would appear to be safe for him. Or safe enough anyway.
While young and still somewhat native Ravage was indeed intelligent, or at least there was the possibility for him to become so. He was at least smart enough to know what Spinister was doing, could potentially be dangerous. And so as the Decepticon checked the temperature and worked on, he stayed quiet for the moment.
Red eyes however watched closely, not missing a thing even as his head was buzzing, his tail settling still on the floor as he sat there.

Where in the world is Phobia?
Well, asides from appearing to his shifts and maybe the lounge like a good, obedient and sane Decepticon, Phobia has mostly been either hiding or reading through a datapad on his bed. Mostly hiding. You can never have too much practice hiding. Which is probably why his sudden appearance in the kitchen might come as a bit of a surprise, considering his current success at avoiding anyone and anything during his free time in the past few days.
He strides in, innocuous and all normal-like right down to the sunny smile and the usual air of warm friendliness- Oh, look, Spinister.
And a Ravage-like critter too, but the latter was a tad less terrifying. He managed not to falter, merely giving the pair a happy little wave before occupying himself with trying to find some antifreeze. See? Completely normal and not paying attention to any potentially illegal or dangerous activities.
... Phobia desperately hopes cheerfulness was a good enough Mayhem repellant.

No explosions. Spinister is too careful to botch such a simple recipe. He'll save the explosions for the battlefield.
He takes the moulds and pours the collapsed energon into the moulds, clamping the lid down tight. Ta-da. Extremely dense energon in tiny little cubes. He really should stop here.
Spinister turns to consider the motorcycle that has just waved to him. Ah. Spinister remembers this one. He greets Phobia with a slight nod of his head, but he suggests, his suggestion sounding something more like an order, "Introduce yourselves."
Cheerfulness is not Mayhem repellant. Cheerfulness may even attract Mayhems. Consider, for a moment, Spinister's usual company, Needlenose. Needlenose is fabulous and bright and bouncy and cheerful.

A turn of his head was Ravage's first response when Phobia comes in, he eyes up the other bot briefly then looks behind in case anyone else was following. The cat bot was a little nervous as someone else entered, as if someone else here scared the feline. However he didn't show his fear when it was only one other bot in the room.
"Hello there." Ravage does as Spinister tells him to do, a brief introduction to Phobia. "I'm Ravage, you are?" He asks, he didn't have any idea who he was looking at, having in his own time and place limited contact with others.
