Day 30, Open thread for 'Cons, soon to be open to Team Good. Posing of Counterpunch with permission.
Scourge's team has the challenge of getting to the Event Horizon's engines without being noticed. If Starscream's team does their job, the Autobot fools should be quite distracted, but Scourge isn't going to count on that. The team with him was packed into a shipping container, planet-side, a too-cramped shipping container. Then, from a shipping depot that the Decepticons haven't used once in any of their endeavours, they were shipped up to that ratty space-station and transported to a cargo ship that happens to be docked just starboard of the Event Horizon.
Once on the cargo ship, there they'll wait, in that cargo ship, until they see that Starscream's crew has made impact. Then, silent as the ghosts of space, they'll slip out of the cargo ship and just float over to the Event Horizon's engines.
Waiting does not comes easily to some, and tempers are easily strained. In the waiting, now, Counterpunch says one too many wrong things, or perhaps Scourge is just in a temper. He's Scourge. Either way, while they're waiting and watching for sign of Starscream's attack, Scourge snaps and slams Counterpunch to a bulkhead. He growls, "I said, 'No noise.' You think you can disobey orders, but the fact is that I can always make you obey. Always."
That said, Scourge tears out Counterpunch's voicebox and looks to the rest of his squad, as if asking, 'Any questions?'

It's not that Counterpunch was trying to give them away.
(No, that comes later.)
He is just a foul natured robot inclined to snarl angry responses to anything said by anybody. This often leads to him spending more time in medical than necessary1, and now leads to him getting his voicebox ripped from him! He struggles against Scourge's hand as the tanker continues to hold him against the bulkhead, alternately trying to pull Scourge's hand away and trying to hit it away as he glowers up at Scourge.
He has no questions. Nor voice to ask them.
1 In fact, as a FYI, I am completely open to working out details along the lines of, 'I beat up Counterpunch off-screen because he tried to attack me over some stupid argument' for people who want to make casual references to things like that.

Blackarachnia leans against the wall, her arms crossed over her chest as she watches Scourge literally rip into Counterpunch. The spider is smirking.
She hasn't said a word.
She also is keeping a safe distance from the others. She's running without her stopgap in place, at Scourge's request. Being able to take down an opponent quickly and quietly and steal their abilities at the same time could come in handy here.
She cocks her head to one side listening. Shouldn't be too much longer now.

Mindwipe winces at the display, optics narrowed and hands raised slightly.
No sir, he doesn't like this. It's too familiar to the way Megatron and Starscream did things back home. Clearly, Starscream and Scourge must have been trading notes since Starscream arrived.
It makes Mindwipe terribly nervous.

Scourge takes Counterpunch's counterblows like the nothing they are. He could dodge, but why bother? He crumples up Counterpunch's voicebox and throws it away, proclaiming, "There. Now he won't cry out in pain in battle and gave away his position, and if he needs to communicate, he can use hand signs or radio. All in all, I may have just improved Counterpunch."
Fairly glowing with dark, smug satisfaction, Scourge lets Counterprunch drop. Well, honestly, Scourge more attempts to fling Counterpunch to the floor, but either way, he is no longer holding Counterpunch, and he steps away.
Everyone else is being quiet. Good. Now, come on, Starscream. Pleasantly surprise Scourge. Everyone wins, then, except the Autobots, and the Autobots losing is the point of everything.

Frenzy would be tittering as he watches Scourge toss Counterpunch away, but he's wary of the big lug trying to repeat his performance on Frenzy's delicate self. Not that Scourge would stand a chance of actually catching him, if he fled, but that would rather defeat the purpose of him beinf there, and Barricade would be cross.
Sometimes? It's fun to piss Barricade off. This? Not one of those times. They'd take away his chance to hack Autobots, and that would just suck.

Counterpunch is flung onto the floor! He can't even growl at Scourge, as he lacks the vocalizer, and he attempts to kick at the larger robot's leg (for all the good it would do him), except that Scourge has already stepped away before the blow even has a chance of landing. So instead, he just glares after the black repaint before pulling himself back to his feet and taking a moment to glare at the other Decepticons. Just because.
OOC note: I'm currently in a thread as Punch, so my icons and screen name might not always line up. ICly, I will still be Counterpunch in this thread unless specified otherwise.

Fleetwind watches events quietly, making sure to stay well away from Scourge. Ordinarily, he'd be with Starscream's group, as his only skills in the area of Intelligence and Subterfuge relate to his skills as an aerial scout, something not particularly useful during this mission. However, the pastel Seeker provides, is nothing else, a warm body who's capable of being quiet when he's supposed to, and sometimes this alone is a useful talent.
Especially when the alternative means getting your vocalizer ripped out.

Mindwipe thinks he will stay over here. In the corner. Yes. All broody creepy guys like corners anyway, so being in the corner works for him.
Maybe he should have just stayed home today...

Scourge is sorely tempted to put Frenzy in charge of Counterpunch and deepened the misery. However, he has other orders from Shockwave. He holds out a hand, becoming Frenzy to climb up. It'll be annoying and painful, much like Frenzy himself, but if he's talking to Frenzy, he can at least boost Frenzy to optic level.
He doesn't radio, because they don't exist yet and a radio signal might be picked up. He does whisper lowly, though, making it clear that even if any of the others do hear, they're not meant to repeat it, "Frenzy, Shockwave wants you to look for any mentions of an Autobot spacebridge, once we're inside. Plans, schematics - you know, the works."
Meanwhile, everyone else seems sufficiently cowed or dark and broody. All is well. Should be go time, so very soon. Just as soon as all the Autobots are occupied with the front end of the ship...

While everyone else is cowering away from Scourge, Frenzy is chittering softly as he makes the hop onto that large black hand and scurries to an easily-launched-from spot; he's not completely suicidal, after all.
"Got it," he replies in that short, almost snappish tone of his. Two of his four optics swivel around, watching everyone else, while the main two never leave Scourge. "Take the plans. Break everything else." He snickers, smaller hands twitching with excitement. "Break it all."

Counterpunch isn't cowering away from Scourge! He tried to kick Scourge!
... Counterpunch is also arguably suicidal, all things considered.
He doesn't cower away from Scourge just now, either, though he doesn't get any nearer the larger Decepticon, either. He does pick his vocalizer, at least the bits that are easy to grab, up off the ground.
Hey, you never know when something like that might come in handy!

Fleetwind is cowering. It's something he does well, though he's generally honest about it. Not because he's honest by nature, but because he finds that it's better to be up front about the matter than to have a commander disappointed in discovering Fleetwind to be more... courageously challenged than he had previously let on.

Mindwipe is also cowering, but now trying to hide it by polishing a dagger. His two main optics focus on it, but the third sweeps back and forth over the room, just in case. Always good to know which places are empty, who is available to hide behind, and the like.

Oil Slick, however, is not cowering - he is brooding, though. Leaned up against one wall, arms folded and waiting for the time to move...
