Hook finished the second Autobrand, then stalked over to Cannonball. "Paint over your quaint designs, mm? I'm going to have to get creative to stretch all of my paint that much. Transform to vehicle-mode."
Fear, Cannonball. Fear.
Assuming Cannonball transforms as Hook asked, the Constructicon fetched out his paint-bottles. They were more designed for minor touch-ups, and most of them are in a very familiar set of green, purple, and black.
"Starfighter, start a small patrol sweep before we set out. Sky-Byte, what are your flight parameters in that form?"
Hook picked up a sprayer of black and one of green. "Hold still, Cannonball. I shall be very irritated if you ruin this."
Doesn't everyone want intricate engineering diagrams painted on their backs and doors?
---
OOC: When it's Cannonball's turn again, he can assume that the painting is done, and Hook has affixed the Autobrands over his Deceptisigils as well as painting out the purple.
And yes, Cannonball now has engineering designs on him. In lime-green.

Demolishor wiggles his aft a bit and taps the chair-like device on his back. It's really only big enough to fit a soda machine into. "There's that, but no internal storage. Could tow, but I'm not all that fast in vehicle mode."

He can carry a fair bit of weight, a large cluncky human generator was tossed around pretty easy by him and his Predacon team, so this could be a cinch right? Sky-byte flexed his shoulders momentarily and turned it into a shrug. "I can carry in either mode, but you'd need something to lash an item down if I'm going to by carrying it in beast mode."
Actually....Sky-byte's optics gleamed and he jumped into the air, transforming quickly and presenting Dead End with a too-close view of his jaws. Unless Dead End decides to shoot him first. What he's trying to show is that he can carry things quite satisfactorily with his teeth. Hey, he caught that hot shot Wedge in his mouth, why not this thing?
Finally, Sky-byte's big mouth gets him somewhere. Well, if designated burden carrier is to be his job.

"Yes, sir."
Starfighter is already in the air by the time Sky-Byte transforms, but the shark still gives him a bit of a start. What in blazes is he, some twisted form of Dino-con?
The seeker flies a little ways down the road, scanning the trees and underbrush for potential enemies or feral lawnmowers or whatever else this mad world has to offer.

Cannonball held still as told. He couldn't really see what was going on. Nor could he see once he transformed. Something just didn't bode well, though. He didn't really care much for Hook so far, and didn't trust him much either. Once the designs were finished, he transforms, glancing around.
"Bah, lousy water be too mucky tae serve as a mirror..." he mumbles before walking over to Dead End. "So where's the chief wantin' me tae go, exactly?" he asks, anxious to take off.

"Hmm," Dead End says, examining Sky-Byte's jaws.
Those who didn't know the Stunticon well might put down his lack of concern to a foolish trust of his fellow Decepticons. Those who knew him knew also that Dead End would examine a charging Grimlock's jaws with the same lack of concern--just before he fired a shot down the Dino-bot's open throat.
"That might work." He leans against the trailer and over-balances it, tilting one end up so Sky-Byte can grab it in his jaws. "Can you get that?"
To Cannonball, he transmits his map collection with various important locations marked. // I will be updating you periodically with our position--so long as you are still capable of receiving it, anyway. I believe Starscream wanted you to venture east, ahead of both them and us, and join in with any Autobots you come across while sort of keeping an eye on our progress and our route. Reports of enemy or other presences would be appreciated, I'm sure. Either that, or I've totally misunderstood the Air Commander and he'll shoot us both for disobeying orders. When something kills you, do try to let us know. //

Hook glanced around at the Decepticons. Demolishor, not doing anything. Skystrike, not doing anything. Starfighter, on a patrol sweep. Cannonball, about to be disposed of. Dead End... Trying to feed their supplies to Sky-Byte.
The expression on Hook's face as he looked at the Stunticon and Predacon would have made any of his gestalt-mates snicker.
"Ahem. Decepticons. We have maps of the nearby road-system, thanks to the jets. Here is the route we will take, assuming all goes well." He opened a connection to each of them and offered the appropriate file. "When you're quite done with whatever you're doing there, Dead End, we shall be off."

Demolishor just stands about watching the odd spectacle, having no real comment to add to the proceedings.
But he's still of the opinion that he's on Planet Cyclonus's CPU.

Feeding could be one way to describe it. Sky-byte clamped down on the trailer -of course not too hard as to damage it...irreparably.- just hard enough to get a good hold of it. Then (unfortunately) like a seal, he tipped the trailer just so he gets a good hold of it. Sky-byte glanced around to make sure no one wore any snicker or smirk, he got enough of that from those imbecile Autobot brothers.
"Ah gah ii."
'I got it' should be the suitable translation for this language.
And it was just Predacon...or Transmetal Shark...or if one was picky: sub-group Mega Beasts. NOT a 'Dino-bot', or even a Sharkticon for that matter (He honestly is more intelligent than the latter, despite his personality). Besides, he wouldn't even know what half the other ones where.
Sky-byte half-way hoped that Hook wouldn't mind the surface damage to the object he was carrying.

Starfighter curved around to investigate the land on either side of the road. He kept the rest of his party within easy visual range, just in case something adverse happened.
...of course, if something adverse happened it wouldn't matter whether he could see them as he died or not. But it made him feel a bit less nervous.

Cannonball nods to Dead End, though smirking as he turns, taking to the road and transforming.
//Ah donnae 'ave any intentions o' dyin, lad. It takes a lot to kill a legend.// he replies, driving off, and around, taking the observational route around, 'following' Starscream.

"Good luck," Dead End says to Cannonball, though his tone suggests that that is a fool's hope. Cannonball will probably be eaten by some giant river monster, or more likely, walk into an Autobot ambush and be instantly incinerated. Dead End doesn't expect to see the bold pirate again. Not in this life.
Sky-byte looks like he can provide transport, freeing Dead End up for combat patrol as necessary. Starfighter's providing some semblance of air cover. Skystrike... has been trailing along in a wordless funk ever since Starscream arrived. Starscream can have that effect on people, Dead End notes. Hopefully she'll react if something shoots at her.
Groundside, there's him, Hook, and the over-armed Demolishor. How many guns does one mech need, anyway? It looks like he can provide a formidable barrage--unless, Dead End thought gloomly, he has that many launchers and guns because he can't hit anything. That was an annoyingly common problem among the Decepticons. Perhaps they also understood the pointlessness of it at some deep level and just didn't bother trying.
// Hook, you want me on point and Demolishor as rear-guard, or vice versa? I advise that you and Sky-byte stay in the middle. // Best actually ask the Con who is officially in charge; most get touchy if you start giving orders to their troops without consulting them.
OOC: Hook, can you time-skip us now or soon?

Hook considered Dead End's comm as he transformed to crane-mode. Privately to the Stunticon, //While I suspect you would be faster in the front, I am leery of putting that tank behind us.// His radio 'voice' shifted to a clinical tone. //When we have the time and supplies, I am going to upgrade his processors and memory. That little conversation on your tactical band suggests he needs it.// If Demolishor doesn't want an upgrade... Well, that can be fixed too. //Starfighter, Skystrike, head towards Fleetwind. I want the two of you ranging ahead of us. Cut back and forth in a scouting pattern and don't get too far ahead.// //Demolishor, take the lead. We're heading towards where Fleetwind is currently marked on the map. Sky-Byte, you'll move behind me, and Dead End will bring up the rear. Do not lose my supplies.// With the orders given over broadband and assuming everyone cooperates without calibration, the caraven set out. After a few hours, they reached the closest point the road came to Fleetwind and Shortround. The road did not quite go all the way, but it was only a short tromp out into the swamp where the pastel yellow jet and hovercraft nattered. --- OOC: And now we move over to the Nearly Elsewhere in the Swamp thread.
