Omega Supreme dials up his sensitivity a bit in the area where Holi is. He would like to notice if a stiff breeze sends Holi falling off the side of him. The Autobot is tiny enough that the worry may be valid. SO he does feel the pat, albeit barely. It's rather awkward.
Autobots do tend to be rather touchy-feely. There must be half a dozen hugs in Generation One alone! This doesn't mean that Omega Supreme actually knows what to do when other Autobots are being touchy-feely. He's used to being treated an object. You don't shake the taxi's hand after a drive.
Omega Supreme almost feels amused by Holi's declaration that they'll keep them safe, Omega Supreme is one Goliath who never met David.

Emirate Xaaron notes Kup's carefully mastered unease and inquires, "Did you and Holi arrive in this general area or did you move here from elsewhere? Perceptor, Long Haul, and I all arrived in the same area, a vast black desert. Synapse arrived here. Omega Supreme arrived in a polar area, where he said that he dispatched a Decepticon Seeker of some sort. Called it a 'tetrajet'. Nightbeat showed up on a beach. Arcee and Swerve arrived in some sort of temple area. Synapse is keeping maps of the areas he's been. We'll have to have him get you and Holi caught up later on those."
He frowns lightly at Kup's description of the size and affirms, "We met one of those." He points out the marks that it left on him. They're faint, almost entirely healed, but they're there, paler gold against the rest of his bright expanse. He tugs on the dragon's leash and notes, "We think this is a juvenile. Long Haul insisted on keeping it." Very un-Decepticonly of him, to put Kup's worries to rest. Perhaps being builders just makes them more disposed towards new creations. "I'd like Perceptor to do a detailed study on it, but we have more pressing issues."
Emirate Xaaron sighs and says, "We haven't seen any sign of them anywhere. Looks like they just up and left or were forced away. No sign of bodies anywhere. Perhaps we can find a governmental centre and… we can't read anything here. Right."
At Long Haul's obstacle, he smirks slightly and points out, "Holi could fit in there. No use tearing out a dozen walls if there's a more direct route. Shall we call him back?" There's one thing Micromaster are very good for.

Kup looks Xaaron up and down, then nods. "Yeah, looks about right for a Gillanan dragon." Kup notes the further confirmation of Long Haul's un-Decepticon-ness, but really, Omega Supreme not trying to kill him spoke volumes louder than anything else the veteran could think of.
Kup's optics narrow in thought. "We can't read anything, but if we can find any visual news recordings on what was going on, we should be able to pick something out from that. As far as that goes, though, any sort of information broadcast tower'll help us as much as a government center."
It then occurs to Kup that perhaps he ought to share what he knows with the folks out there searching for the power station, and he transmits a summary of what he's told Xaaron so far.

Long Haul nods at Xaaron. "Yeah. Might have to tear down walls, anyway, but with someone to look inside first, we can pick which wall we take out a lot easier."
He turned back towards Omega Supreme and cupped his hands over his non-mouth, then shouted. "HEY! HEY, HOLI! WE NEEDJA DOWN HERE!"
Hopefully the Micromaster can hear him. Long Haul has a pretty loud voice, when he wants to.

Loud and clear, Long Haul.
Holi perks up at the transporter's call and looks back to the zoo, searching for him. Yup, there he is in all his bright green glory. So much for watch duty.
"Sorry," he says to Omega Supreme, genuinely apologetic, as he starts back down. "Looks like I have to go lend a hand." He's been enjoying the titan's company, even if he doesn't talk much. Omega should be fine on his own, though, right? Right. "COMING!" the tiny bot hollers back as loudly as he can. Whether or not his squeaky voice carries is another matter.
His descent, while more haphazard, is certainly much faster than his previous ascent. Or maybe it just seems faster. Either way, he's back on the ground in almost no time and heading for Long Haul's group at top speed. And yes, he's definitely watching out for any more wandering animals; he'd rather get where he's going without being chewed on. Which is, thankfully, the case. Were Holi human, he'd be gasping for air as he comes trotting to a stop alongside his fellows.

Yes, Holi. Omega Supreme will be just fine. He's used to lonely sojourns through space. He can deal with having a garrulous group of Autobots in near audio-shot.
Omega Supreme's turrets pivot to watch Holi go. Then, he returns to keeping watch. He can see the miniscule movements of the sun as it tracks its way through the sky. Of course, it is actually Gillanan III that is moving, not the sun. Well, it depends on the reference frame, really. It is a very good thing that Omega Supreme does not have to understand how faster than light travel works in order to use it. In fact, it's a good thing for most spacers. Like Astrotrain gets how he works. He doesn't even understand the difference between mass and weight!

"Only if the tower does not only transmit but also stores," Emirate Xaaron notes. Coolly, he reminds, "You didn't answer my question, Kup."
Long Haul summarises more or less what Xaaron meant to say. Emirate Xaaron takes out his datapad and starts making a to-do list on it.
He also puts in a radio call to Nightbeat, //How is your group doing?//
Finally, he turns to give a friendly wave to Holi and explains, "Long Haul can tell you what we need you to do. It’s something where your size is going to come in very handy."

"Oh, yeah, sorry," Kup apologizes. "Got wrapped up in the other details." Like usurping Xaaron's authority? No, not really. But a good leader has to be able to allow senior subordinates a certain amount of autonomy, and Kup is, in several ways, the most senior of the Autobots on this planet next to Xaaron.1
The veteran turns more fully towards Xaaron, although even now he still watches around him. "Yeah, I woke up here. In fact, over in that area," and he points to a spot not too terribly far from where Kup and Holi were when the others arrive, and pretty much the same spot that Holi arrived in. "I would have radioed around, but the Hate Plague... well, guess I should explain it."
The elder moves part way into story mode, but not too far. He's still summarizing. The whole business with him, Bumblebee, Blurr, and Steeljaw bravely facing off against Superion can wait until later.
"The point in time I was pulled out has this Hate Plague running rampant! It's already overtaken several inhabited planets!2 Those infected are filled with an uncontrollable anger and the urge to commit violence! They focus on the uninfected first, then each other, then... anything that's around, living or not! And the damned thing is spread instantly, by touch! At the moment I was pulled from, Galvatron had just trapped me with a bunch of infected Autobots and Decepticons! Bumblebee and Blaster had just fallen to the plague, and I was sure I was next..."
He trails off, and shrugs. "And then I blacked out and woke up here." A bit anti-climatic, but that's how these things work sometimes. "I didn't use my radio because for all I knew, Blaster could have been brought over with me."
1 Omega Supreme might well have everyone beat as far as age, but it's best not to ask too many questions about the Guardian's early years. Not that you're likely to get an answer longer than two words, anyway.
2 Well, Earth, Charr, probably Cybertron, and whatever planet that Quintesson was running around on before Sky Lynx picked him up. Even if it hasn't hit other planets, and with a spread like that there's a good chance it has, three to four is almost "several," and the rest can be accounted for as creative liscence of Kup's part.

Long Haul nods as Holi comes running up and Xaaron passes over responsibility for ordering Holi over to him. He points to the building. "Uhm, yeah. I needja to go in there. And, erm, describe what you see." Yes! Good thing Long Haul is there to tell Holi what he needs to do!
After a moment, something else occurs to the Constructibot. "Oh!" He trots up next to the building, kneels down, and removes the covering to a metal hump that runs along the path, into the building. Then he points. "See these cables? Check to see if you can tell where the run into the building, an' follow them."

Follow the cables, check. Describe the interior, check. Can do! It isn't a salute, but Holi gives Long Haul an eager, respectful nod once the Constructibot finishes his explanation.
"Yes, sir!" he says, and in he goes. Once he adjusts his visual cluster to the lower light, the first things he looks for are the cables from outside, because they have to come in somewhere, obviously. This is, of course, assuming they aren't tucked behind the wall panels and the large console banks. Speaking of which, those are just about the right size for him. Imagine that!
Right, right, cables. Have to find the cables. And describe things, too. Does the floor humming count? …He'll leave that part out for now. Doesn't seem too important.
"Well, it's… cluttered," he declares loudly. That's no help, Holi! You can do better. "There are control consoles all over the place. And some of them might be broken." With most of the buttons gone and some wires protruding from the gaps left behind, he guesses 'broken' is a safe bet for this one, at least, as he hunkers down to check behind it; maybe the cables run along the baseboards? …Or not. He makes his way along the bank on hands and knees, looking behind and under things, while he rambles on about his surroundings. "They mostly have monitors, but it doesn't look like they're working." There's a faint, high-frequency whine in the air, though, that makes his audio receptors itch a little. He remembers the sound from other, inactive monitors in the past. Do they have power, then, like some of the cages? That must be it. He remains quiet as he goes on crawling around the cluttered chamber, past slightly dusty equipment and the occasional patch of something he's going to say an animal left behind. "…Eww. Er, uh – hey, wait a minute." Why, those do indeed look like cables! "I think I found them, Long Haul!" he calls back. "They go around… to the right…." He blinks. "I think they're attached to these big round things in the back!" He trots across the room to one of them and leans over the rail surrounding it to peer down through the gap between it and the floor to a lower level. It sounds much noisier down there.

The tank slowly orbits along is track the track like a planet circling its sun. Okay, so the track really isn't in the right shape for a proper orbit, but the idea is there. Some people might goof off on a watch or at least try to amuse themselves, but Omega Supreme isn’t sure that he could, even if he wanted to. He just continues his boring, mundane sweeps. He's fine with that. Boring and mundane mean that nothing's going wrong, that he doesn't have to bring out the claws.

"I'm sure," Emirate Xaaron says mildly to Kup's apology. He rubs his chin and notes, "The concept of rage-intensifying phenomena is not unknown to me, although the specific manifestation of the Hate Plague is not something I have ever heard of." Perhaps it does not exist in his universe. Perhaps it happened after his extraction point, if there's anything after then. "Certainly something to watch out for, but the more you watch for one threat, the more you miss the other threats that aren't like the one you're watching for."
He smiles over Holi's enthusiasm, but the cynic in him wonders how long it will last. Some are genuinely that cheery and energetic, but some get it stripped out of them, which is never pleasant to contemplate. At Holi's report, Emirate Xaaron tilts his head to the side and inquires of Long Haul, "Your judgment as lead technician present?"
If Emirate Xaaron wants some sort of structure enforced, he can start by following it himself. Long Haul has the best technical know-how of any of them here.

Kup grunts softly, perhaps a little irritated with the implied rebuke. "Yeah, I know. But considering from my perspective, it wasn't just a threat to watch for, but the immediate threat, you'll have to excuse a bit of disorientation." Especially when you take into account the fact that some folks are still grappling with the 'Giant planet-eating planet heading our way right NOW!' mindset.
Although he listens to the exchange going on between Holi, Long Haul, and Xaaron, he leaves dealing with that to the subject matter experts, and instead, still calmly scanning the setting, he strolls towards one of the broken cages and turns to lean against the edge. Once settled, he removes his acid-laser musket from subspace and begins a quick, practiced check-up to verify its working condition.

Long Haul covers his non-face with the palm of his right hand and sighs. He looks toward Xaaron and shakes his head. "This ain't working. Holi ain't good enough with the technical language, and I ain't no good with language in general. I gotta see inside there."
He shouts in to Holi, "Hey, Holi! Can you identify an external wall what doesn't have any cables of equipment or such against it? If I can find one I'm sure it's okay to break down, I can have a look in there myself."

"Oh." Why does Holi get the feeling he slipped up? No matter, no matter, he can make up for it. He looks around again for a wall that fits the criteria. The back wall is probably too close to the big round things, and the largest console bank dominates the left wall and part of the front, with the cables bolted along the wall to the back. The right wall had a few more consoles, and a descending staircase he hadn't noticed at first. It isn't his fault somebody hid it behind machinery, honest!
Most of the front wall is pretty clear, though. Holi peeps back out the door, looking somehow abashed and accomplished at the same time as he beams up at Long Haul.
"I think this wall here is okay," he reports, gesturing oh so helpfully at the wall in which the door is set. "The left corner there–" Well, it's currently to his right, but it's on the left when he faces the other way, and he's still pointing at any rate. "–Has a little equipment, but it isn't much. Maybe… five or six feet?" He double-checks his estimate to be sure. "Yeah, six feet, give or take a couple inches. Will that work?" he can't help asking.
