Fleetwind nods to Dead End. "Moving back to one of the metal roads would be a good idea. It'll make the supplies transfer easier, anyway." The pastel Seeker, who is, perhaps, a bit better at faking pleasantness than most Decepticons, smiles down at Wheelie. "Hello, erm, Wheelie. Like Starscream said, we need to go get more fuel, but first we'll have to transfer the supplies to Shortround so Sky-Byte here," Fleetwind gestures to Sky-Byte, "doesn't have to go on carrying them in his mouth."
With that he turns and slogs back to the nearby road, following Dead End, and trusting Sky-Byte and Shortround to follow him. Surely Sky-Byte wants to be able to get rid of the stuff, right?

Obviously Shortround does not collect Autobots!
"Yes, go do that." Hook waved a hand in the general direction of the road. "Sky-Byte might have a use for his mouth later on." Ripping and tearing! Ripping and tearing!
"I was not going to say anything," he informs Starscream quietly. "However, if your air-force ranges ahead and transmits the locations of refueling sites that do not deviate very far from our route, then we will be able to make the overall journey much more swiftly. The more time we delay on foraging, the more chances we have of running into other troubles."
He turns his head just slightly towards the small orange Autobot. "Shall I make out sigils for him? That will make it just a bit more difficult for the Autobots to realize he once was one of their's."

Sky-byte followed, his eagerness to be rid of his burden showing perhaps too much. Hopefully, Shortround followed, because the large shark quickly deposited the supplies a) in Shortround's hovercraft mode if he was there, or b) onto the swamp causeway. He looked sheepishly away at the various gouges on the metal from his teeth.
Now this new Autobot acquisition...what an odd little thing. "They're Decepticons-" Sky-byte began to say, but then he remembered Starscream's very clear threat over the radio-waves. As much as he hated to be associated with these Decepticons...he'd rather keep his head, thank you. So if Decepticons were a promotion to Autobots, Predacons were obviously a step above that! Though...sometimes Autobots seemed the better choice to Decepticons.
Sky-byte was very obviously not going to voice those opinions out loud.

Skystrike uttered a rumbled before transforming in midair. Her alt-mode wasn’t all too fun to be in when all you did was hover in midair like an overtly fancy hover-car while doing aerial look out duty. There weren’t a lot of high ground in the swamp, and it wasn’t like the nearby ‘trees’ would support a giant robot, so hovering and looking out for conspicuous flashes of primary colors it was. The flier made and amused grunt to her self at the personal joke before falling silent once again, her sensors stretching out as far as possible.
Hopefully, anything that the ground bound team missed, she would detect up here. The densely packed trees were a bit of a nuisance to see through, but it’d take too much precious energy to burn them all down right now. Useless organic mush, hnh.
Skystrike occasionally glanced down at the group below her, just to catch a glimpse of the going-ons now and then. Her attention was especially attracted to the brightly colored Autobot that Starscream had brought along, and idly mulled over exactly how long it’d take before the small mech would be disillusioned. Whoever the pitiable fool was, unless he started believing in Decepticon ideals he wasn’t going to last long around here. If they were unlucky, he’d run to the Autobots as soon as they appeared, if they were lucky, the group would have a new member and become a much needed helping hand. The former was something to be worried about, even if the little mech appeared completely harmless.
The berkut narrowed her optics at the ugly expanse of organic material before her. They’d have to be careful with him.

Starfighter nodded slightly to Skystrike as she landed, then looked at Wheelie with a bemused expression. He hadn't known very many Autobots, especially not living ones, but did they really come in this extreme a flavor of naive?
"I'll, ah, I'll put him in the database right away, sir." He said it quietly, to where it would be easy to ignore him.

Dead End is out of the muck. He is not towing a trailer--in fact, the trailer is now in the hands of an experienced cargo hauler. Yay. There is a road going in his direction.
Dead End transforms, and a dark red Porsche 928 roars down the road.
Life is good. While it lasts.

"So glad to meet you all, so glad to have a goal! One for all, all for one, that will keep us whole! Let's get it on, let's make it go, it's time to start this show. Are we ready, or we set? Okay, then let's all go!"
Wheelie cheerfuly babbles, happy to have found others like him at last.

"Good point.." Starscream said back to Hook. "However, I have already told the boy that he had to earn his new insignia, and perhaps now is not a good time." How to work around this..? Aha. "No, I have another insignia for you to design." As for what Starscream might mean, well, Hook is about to find out. Starscream made his way towards Wheelie, face lit up with all the faux-pride he can muster.
"Congratulations, Wheelie. My lieutenant has agreed with me, you will be accepted as an initiate into the Decepticons. You have yet to fully prove yourself, and so you will not be wearing this emblem. However, as an initiate, you have your own badge. You, Wheelie...
"...are a Predacon!" Starscream gestured to Sky-Byte. "Just like our friend Sky-Byte over here!"
He waited a half a beat before sending a short sharp radio message to the other 'initiate'. //And If you have ANYTHING to say, keep it to yourself. I was stuck and I had to come up with something to keep this Autobot fooled. More hands means there will be more to fight Autobots, more to prepare energon. So if I double your ration, will THAT make this lie easier to swallow?//
Starscream has the alternative mounted to either arm if Sky-Byte does not find his offer reasonable. Or, at least, doesn't wish to haggle.

"2030? You're about twenty years ahead of me, I'm back in 2010. Might have gotten a reformat somewhere after now. Well, my 'now'." All this time business is confusing him even more. When is 'now'? If nobody's chronometer matches up, how do they even know what time period they're in? Could be way in the future after their whole race went extinct, like in that one other movie that he forgot the name of.
"So we stop having Mini-Con ports after that?" Demolishor pats the one on his arm, looking confused. "Why? Did all the Mini-Cons die or something?"

Shortround shakes his gun turret, having no head to shake in this mode. "Nah, plenty of mini-cons around. But we used to use hyper power... Which wasn't much, then we started using these wierd 'cyber key' things which do the same job as Mini-cons but with less beeping"
Shortround follows after the others, so Sky-Byte dumps the cargo in him, allowing Shortround to close his doors. He's also still cheating and floating just above the surface of the swamp/road.

For a moment, Fleetwind smirks at Wheelie's exuberance, but that smirk is quickly smoothed back into a polite, friendly smile. "Indeed, Wheelie. And if we're all packed up," he glances at Shortround, "and we are, I do believe it is time to go." The pastel Seeker dips his head politely to the group at large, then a bit lower towards Starscream. "With permission, I will move scout ahead." Assuming he gets such permission, Fleetwind leaps into the air, transforms, and rockets off. OOC: And this is actually it for this thread. ICly, we've got 2-3 days of travel time ahead of us. Hook will be making the Predacon symbol, based on Sky-Byte's, during the pauses in travel, so that Wheelie can arrive at the other thread wearing it instead of an Autobot symbol. It is assumed that the group is able to scrounge up the necessary fuel to keep going.
Please read over the Further Combat Preparations thread on the Game Announcements and the OOC information in the first post of the Station Battle: Initial Troop Build-Up thread. Most of us will be posting into the Initial Troop Build-Up thread, except for those who have worked out a combat pairing in the Combat Preparations thread. For anyone who needs information on the appearance of the land around the Power Beaming Station and the situation going on there, the most relevant information can be found starting the Scenemod posts in the Station-Bound Autobots thread.
As usual when thread-jumping, you do not need to keep to the rotation you are in here when you transfer over there. Everyone is free to post in when they can, and they will be added to the rotation at that point (although those with alts are asked to keep their alt posts next to each other, as this tends to lead to faster rounds, overall).
Edit: Okay. This thread is being unlocked temporarily, because Starscream's player wants to see Sky-Byte's initial reaction to the "Predacons are the iniation mode for Decepticons" declaration. ;D However, everyone is still free to jump over to the other Station Battle threads.

Okay, so Starscream's plan might be considered ingenious. Honestly, even Sky-byte has never seen such gullibility in an Autobot before (and some Autobots were pretty darn naive, take that Sideburn for example. Toss a red sports car in front of him and the boy would be gone). So all they had to do was make pathetic Decepticon insignia for this 'Wheelie' and....
Wait. Hold and replay! Predacon?! Now what was this pompous little silver chicken trying to imply? Decepticons being superior to Predacons? Ahhrgh, if Megatron where here (in all of his currently 6 mode glory), Starscream would doing just what his name implied.
As all of this internalization went on in Sky-byte's mind, the outside observer might have noted the spastic flexing of the shark's fin and the slight mid-air writhing of his body. Of course he wasn't going to say anything about it! He was outnumbered in this bloody swamp, all of them against himself!
"I'd be most grateful for this newest addition." Sky-byte said almost through his teeth, not exactly lying. If he could turn this little Autobot against the Decepticons, that was just fine by him.
// Double it, plus one. // he shot back at Starscream. That slimy....Decepticon.
He turns to Wheelie and attempts to put a fin around the minibot's shoulders, his reach easy enough to get away from in this form. "Come on now, Wheelie. I'll show you what it really takes to be a real Predacon. We'll show those Decepticons how good you really can be."
'Grr, just watch yourself Starscream. One of these days, it'll be one-on-one, you and me. We'll see who's superior.'
