Upon hearing the message on the Decepticon broadband, Shortround slowed himself down to allow the Seeker and the flying shark to catch up to him. Presuming they did, he then continued on at his normal speed.
No witty comments for now.

Catching up to Shortround is not a hard thing to do, especially when where you were just at had an angry large Autobot clambering on top of it. Oh no siree that's not hard to get oneself away from. Sky-bye pushes himself through the air as fast as possible. Granted, that's not nearly as fast as a jet can go, but he can book it quite well for an air-swimming shark. (Just wait till you see him under water though).
Okay, so Hook said westward, and westward they are going...so where exactly west?
Sky-byte glances over at the energon cubes piled onto Shortround. Well, if Hook or Starscream never get back to them, all that energon would last quite well for three 'cons...or perfectly fine for just one.

Hook hadn’t answered the question over the radio, so really, Skystrike had no idea where they needed to go either. All she knew was that she needed to retreat West and that wasn’t all too specific. The battle was almost over though; Omega Supreme was heading towards the station and they’d gotten away with enough energon to last them all at least a week or so. There wasn’t much left of a battle to pick up anymore, just a disorganized mess of isolated Decepticon-Autobot fighting. They’d probably all regroup later on, then get yelled at for being incompetent and then be sent off to find more energon afterwards. Joy.
Skystrike idly recalled the first day on this planet and mused over whether or not the fuchsia colored beams of light that’d streaked over head had something to do with the power receiving satellite dishes. Hook had said that the energy was beamed to each station. So maybe that was the beam?
The blue shook her wings, snapping out of the mental reverie. No, no deep thinking right now. Right now there were thieving Autobots (and maybe Decepticons) to worry about.
Then, suddenly, the air changed. Skystrike saw the immense power of Omega Supreme’s cannon and had only a few moments to prepare for the shockwave as it rolled across the black desert, unsettling dust and displacing parts of the atmosphere. The explosion was spectacular, the station going up in a magnificent pyre of flames, brighter than the smelting pit of the inferno itself. Though they were significantly further away from the battle now, Skystrike still felt sand lightly pelt her wings and fuselage, leaving fresh scratches in her paint. She stared in the direction of the explosion, feeling a bit shaken despite herself before recovering enough to glance down at her comrades.
They were safe from the Gaurdian’s power here, the blast was far enough away. But still…

Shortround almost thought he was going to escape unharmed, with a cargo hold full of energon!
Shortround didn't expect Omega Supreme to demolish the entire mesa behind him. Luckily, Shortround manages to keep his cargo reletively stable and not blow himself up. Unluckily, he's still sent bouncing due to the resulting shockwave.
//... Slag// is all he manages to transmit, horribly shaken for obvious reasons.

Any plans that were forming inside of Sky-byte's scheming noggin are quite thoroughly dashed aside as something (a shockwave?) knocks him out of the sky. For a few seconds, he finds himself tumbling quite spectacularly through the air whilst transmitting a loud wail over the radio waves. It's only when he realizes that he's going to be hitting a very rocky projection nearby that he pulls up, his already sore underbelly once more abused. This time by scraggly rock.
The supplies in his mouth are not dropped, for better or for worse. It's just that now, what were small dents made by his teeth were now two large jaw indentations on the top and bottom. So Sky-byte's a clencher...who knew? Hope those supplies have some wriggle space to spare in there...

Skystrike transformed trying to regain her bearings somewhat. She could see glimpses of the other blurry color through the settling dust below her.
“Sky-byte! Shourtround! Are you alright?!” She shouted through the slowly settling haze of gray that was blotting out the sun, hoping to pinpoint their location if they spoke up. This was not good. Not good at all. But at least she hadn't heard Shortround exploding, which was a good thing so far.

"Well, I'm regretting not selling that MIB Cassette Man on uBay when I had the chance" Shortround yelled back. How was he meant to know that other universes might not have his universal selling systems?
He at least hoped that the Cassette Man wouldn't come to life and try to kill him, seeing as Starscream had firmly implanted himself in Shortround's mind as an updated, more articulated F-15 Acrobat Type. Maybe he was from that one series which followed Diaclone, where the F-15 was also repainted blue...
Shortround shakes himself out of his toy-induced stupor. "Well, back to retreating" he says, continuing his westwardly retreat out of the topic danger
And off Shortround zooms to Retreating
