Acid. Who uses acid? What a bizarre choice of weapon, Wreckage decides, and coincidentally, irritatingly useful. The stuff blurring his vision is especially bothersome, rendering the world in blurs of colour and light, flashes of motion. There, a spin, a thrust – he moves to deflect the incoming blow before it connects with his cannon barrel, slapping aside the weapon with his open right hand, trying to grab hold and twist, sever the weapon or one of its owner's hands with the sword.
This Autobot is tougher than the others for being so similarly clumsy-looking; that armour did not give easily beneath Wreckage's knee. The resistance is good, however – pleasing on some level. It may just give him a reason to sharpen his blades.
Meanwhile, he shall return the favour of point-blank gunfire, though his is regrettably not acid. He lifts his free arm as if to ready a punch and instead looses a hail of bullets.

Wreckage can try to twist the musket out of Kup's grasp, but Kup's a hell of a lot stronger than he looks. The slap catches the elder off guard, but once the Decepticon grabs the weapon, he'll find it won't budge in his hand for just a fraction of a moment, and then Kup easily yanks both musket and arms away from his opponent, avoiding any severage. Then the veteran opens his hands, but instead of letting gravity take his trusty acid-laser weapon, he subspaces it, causing it to effectively vanish from this dimension.
Ducking is instinctive when someone you're fighting raises a fist towards you, and so Kup starts to duck, taking a couple of steps back in the process. This serves him, but in only a limited capacity. Some of the bullets fly overhead, others clang off of his "crown", a few lodge there, but at least a couple tear into his face instead.
"Graaah! It'll take more than that to bring me down, you scrap-built junkyard reject!" As he insults, he charges and seems to dive for Wreckage's legs. But wait! He's transforming! Either Wreckage can stay in place, and have the full force of a very ornery Cybertronian pick-up ram into him, or he might manage to dodge. If that happens, Kup's in a position to put a bit of distance between himself and his opponent, to fight a battle where he's at the advantage instead. Either option works for Kup.

Wreckage would be lying if he ever implied he is not surprised at the Autobot's strength. He has not seen something wrested from him in some time, but tear away the gun the Autobot does, and then it… vanishes. Strange. He notes that for review at a later date; perhaps it is some technology the Autobots developed recently and he was unaware of it in his isolated, frequently 'forgotten' post.
There is no further speculation. Fleeting almost-amusement at the insult thrown his way before the Autobot drops back, transforms, charges. Wreckage has barely enough time to crouch and brace himself before the impact and it rattles circuits nearly from head to toe. He might compare this to grappling with Brawl. Despite pushing against the Autobot, he is driven backwards, feet leaving deep scars in the earth, soleus cables popping angrily at the strain. There is power comparable to Brawl's, yes, but there is also more skill here, more reason. This is no novice opponent.
"…Interesting," he rumbles, forcing the strain to stay out of his voice, keeping it flat. He is outmatched in this; he will have to give in before one foot, or both, is gouged too deeply into the ground to free easily and his mobility is further hampered. There is already far too much soil in his ankles for his liking.
A raking attack while he sidesteps to let the truck pass, perhaps. It is worth the attempt at the very least. An opponent of caliber deserves nothing less. His left sword switches out and he slips to his right, making a stab for the Autobot's side with both blades, careful not to let on that he had to evade.

They just don't build 'em like Kup anymore. Some might claim there's a reason for that, but Kup would counter that the reason is laziness on the part of the ones doing the building!
When Wreckage moves out of the way, Kup shoots forward, at first uncontrolled, which lets the other's blade slash a huge gouge down the left side of his vehicle mode. "Yaaargh!" he cries out reflexively, but both voice and forward momentum are quickly brought under control. Once more, dirt and sand goes flying behind him as he rolls through the desert, but he has no intention of going far.
He's just over 50 yards away from Wreckage when he begins a sharp turn that switches to a transformation, and in moments the elder robot, the truck-mode gouge showing itself in his left side, is again facing the enemy.
The acid wasn't entirely pointless - Kup'd swear this guy's aim's been off since he hit him with it - but it didn't seem to be slowing him down, either. Well, time to try something else. A more standard energy blaster is withdrawn from subspace. Swiftly, Kup's left hand comes up to support and steady his right. Moments only to aim, and then Kup fires.
That guy liked his fighting close. It's not a good idea to give your enemy what he likes.

Only one sword connects, but one is all Wreckage needs. The metal sings a sweet note as it cleaves and the Autobot catapults past him. He would have liked the contact to last longer, but he can't afford to dally just yet. Just yet, he reminds himself.
Yet will have to wait longer still as the Autobot whirls, once again in primary mode, and opens fire. Wreckage clamps down on his voice as shots score across his armour, pain skating through his systems. He will not give his opponent the satisfaction of his cries. He snarls instead and rips his feet free of the soil, switching out a machine gun and trying to return fire on the run. He cannot remain still and make himself an easy target. A direct charge would be foolish.
Wreckage bolts, running wide of the Autobot. He makes sharp turns, doubles back, digging in his foot spurs to keep from skidding on corners. He fires periodically, but his focus is on moving and moving quickly. If he can, he will work his way back in close.

These two aren't Dead End's targets--that is further along--but with that nice dust trail pointing to him like an arrow, beelining for that particular lime green and purple target in Omega Supreme's line-of-sight is a very bad idea. So the Stunticon plays tourist, dropping by each fight in passing, confusing his trail. Hopefully.
More likely, Omega Supreme will realize exactly where Dead End is going and will incinerate him with a single blast of his cannon--which, coupled with all the energon in his trunk, should make for a very spectacular exit. Oh well, such is death.
Oh look, one of the people in this fight is Kup. Good thing he's not sticking around for this fight--Kup is one of the handful of Autobots who could beat Dead End like a mutinous Air Commander. Dead End doesn't recognize the other fellow--face like Megatron, uses swords.
Dead End drives through the skirmish at full speed, aiming for Kup--the old Autobot twists aside at the last moment, and the Stunticon's fender only clips him lightly.
"Sorry about that," Dead End yells. "I meant to hit you square on!"

Kup has survived enough fights to know that you don't just pay attention to your immediate opponent. You pay attention to everything on the battlefield. Thus, Kup is alerted by the sound of Dead End's approach, and is able to spin far enough out of the way to avoid taking the brunt of the Decepticon's hit and run attempt.
Still, Kup being Kup, he takes a moment to shake the first of his free, non-pistol holding hand after Dead End. "Damned Stuntipunk! Don't worry! Your time is coming!" Reminding Dead End of such things is no doubt pointless, since he's generally more aware of it than most Decepticons, anyway, but the threat makes Kup feel better.
Distraction out of the way, Kup returns his focus to Wreckage who, as expected, is trying to close the distance once more. Well, that may yet happen, but not until Kup can turn it into an advantage. He fires off one more shot, then sprints, dives forward, and transforms once more. Unlike many mechs, he doesn't have a weapon in alternate mode. Give him a break! He was probably built when transform technology was new! So instead he just bounces across the terrain at a speed that isn't so great on a flat surface, but is pretty respectable in this landscape. Now and again he takes another hit, but considering it's moving target aimed at moving target, it doesn't happen often.
The battered pick-up counter-circles Wreckage, attempting to keep distance between them while moving himself between Wreckage and the rest of the fight. Then he decides he's played target enough, and begins to drive right for a large outcropping of rocks. It looks, for a moment, like he might actually ram into the stones, but at the last moment he transforms and, using his alt mode momentum, vaults over the boulders with his left hand, his right calling up his blaster once more. He snaps off a few more shots, even as he continues to move himself behind cover.

Wreckage pauses for only a brief instant as the strange car bursts through his fight. He even contemplates striking out in retaliation for the interference, but the car's attack on his opponent both earns his ire and stays his hand. This is ostensibly an ally. Very well.
That instant was more time than he should have given. Internally, he berates himself for that as the Autobot makes it to cover. Then he, too, seeks out cover. He has, embarrassingly, lost control of this fight. Is it worth trying to regain? He has landed a decent blow and gotten a feel for this Autobot's tactics and abilities.
// You are an… interesting opponent, Autobot, // he grates over the general radio band. Is there some way to track behind him using what cover is available? // I look forward to cutting you open and seeing what it is that makes you so. // These rock outcroppings are sparse and widely spaced. He could charge in secondary mode, when his armour covers him more effectively, but the loss of mobility is not appealing.

Kup's turned the battle into one more favorable to him, but he's all too keenly aware that the others aren't faring so well. He wants to be able to get that Stunticon off Long Haul's tail, but with Wreckage still mobile, chasing them would only serve to put two Decepticons against the repair team instead of one.
His own injuries he shrugs off. Kup has to pretty much start loosing limbs before he considers his own injuries as serious, and even then, all it takes is a quick reattachment by someone not trained as a medic to get Kup up and running again. It's just a flesh wound!
And if he's got the design right, Wreckage may be able to recognize Jazz. That bait may just be too tempting.
During a bit of open frequency banter, Kup examines his options, Wreckage's cover, the space between, and his own weapon. Then he glanced skyward, very briefly, and once more swaps his blaster out for his musket. The acid may not have been the most effective of weapons against Wreckage, but it had done something, and something's better than a blaster that just hits rock.
The veteran adjusts the angle of his rifle, aiming it not straight at Wreckage, but well above Wreckage's head. He may not have Perceptor's ability to calculate precise trajectories, but long experience has given him a pretty good feel for the sort of arcs and angles this thing is capable of pulling off. Then he fires. If he's got this figured right, the acid glob should come down right on top of the Decepticon. If not, he'll readjust and try again.

Imagine Wreckage's surprise when flying acid lands on the stone above his head. The majority of it misses him, but splatter inevitably contacts, having a field day with the paint and plating on his chest and shoulders, sending his regenerative functions into fits. He permits himself a hiss of pain here, out of sight and out of hearing range, then fires a return burst for its own sake and ducks lower. Persistent, this Autobot, and experienced.
Wreckage keeps himself as low as he can behind the rock – he makes a fine target out here in the black, as he is very aware – and slowly, carefully moves to the end of the outcropping, peering around the side. His machine guns will do him little good from here; to use his cannon means exposing perhaps too much of himself, and he has used it once today already. For Wreckage, this is one time too many. This is not a favourable situation. He may have to make a fool's charge simply to upset the balance.
How very… Autobot a tactic.
He checks the distribution of the outcroppings, calculating how best to move into a more viable firing position. He wants to know where he will go before he even begins to charge the cannon.

Kup peeks over the top of his cover. He's a bit light to blend in here, as well, but he's not nearly so off-color as Wreckage. And... hmph. Looks like that shot hit the rock.
The veteran's movements are unhurried, yet swift and efficient. His expression is calm and almost indifferent as he works. He pulls his right hand away from his rifle, summons his blaster once more from subspace, and then wedges it in-between him and the rock. Then an acid glob is dropped into the muzzle of the musket, allowing him to reload in a single, smooth motion. He lines up again, adjusting his angle. Lower, this time, and a bit to the left, to account for a wind that's kicked up since his last shot. And then, once more, the elder fires.
He suspects Wreckage is going to charge. Kup appears to have the advantage here, and the only way Wreckage can change that is by moving. If Wreckage just dashes for different, better cover, he can switch quickly to his blaster. If Wreckage dashes, instead, for Kup, he can do the same, and then leap over the boulder and onto the Decepticon when he nears. Either way, he's ready for it.

Wreckage is debating which way to go when Starscream's radio communication decides things for him. Damn. But defying the lieutenant commander is normally not a wise thing to do.
Are you ready for Wreckage to do neither of the things you expect of him, Kup?
It is with a distinct sense of reluctance that Wreckage moves to comply – neither charging the Autobot nor directly bolting for the next area of cover, but transforming and peeling out at nearly top speed. He rounds the Autobot's position with some space to spare; he cannot return fire like this, much to his dismay and irritation.
// Another time, Autobot, // is his rejoinder over the radio.
OOC: Wreckage shall soon be heading to the Omega Supreme vs. 'Cons thread, apparently.

Yes. Yes, Wreckage, Kup is prepared for a withdrawal. When the Decepticon transforms and peels out, Kup switches to the blaster he had already made handy and fires after, although it's unlikely to do much against the other's thick hide. It's just the principle of the thing. Hmm. Direction indicates he’s heading to back-up the other Decepticons, rather than a full retreat. Ah, well.
After only a few parting shots, Kup returns both his weapons into subspace, vaults over the rock he had been hiding behind, and transforms as he falls, landing in pick-up mode. Then he roars back towards the main battle, requesting a sitrep as he doe- hnh. Okay, that's odd. Wasn't on Gillanan III the last time to ever see a power station do that before.
OOC: Thread closed. I'll have Kup moved to wherever he thinks he'll do most good here in a bit.
