Huh.. the Null Ray only lasted for a few astroseconds. Starscream transformed again, and began strafing the guardian robot's head.
"UNDESERVING?! I am the latest and greatest to ever rule the Decepticons!" Yes, Starscream was bantering with Omega Supreme. And, apparently, losing.
He's aware of the charging cannon, and is going to be ready to bank away if it's aimed at him. Assuming he's 'deserving' of it, of course.

Wow, Starscream was an awesome distraction! At least that mouth of his was proving useful in a way other than screeching at his underlings.
Admittedly, that missile attack hadn’t gone as planned. Then again, nothing ever went as planned when there wasn’t that much of a plan to begin with. They did need to organize themselves better once this entire mess was over and done with. Skystrike flew above the rising dust cloud, a few scratches in her paint the only signs of the rocks that’d struck her; she’d been swooping in from her climb and thus, was mostly safe and finally feeling the weakening affects of low fuel now that she’d slowed down enough to care.
She cut the power to her thrusters until she was just cruising on her antigravs at some points, silently trying to work out at least some kind of strategy that’d work against the guardian. All she knew was that if Omega Supreme fell here, then there’d be no one to pick him up. But how could they ever hope to pull that off?
Hook’s request over the radio abruptly distracted her, and the blue jet was all too glad to have her thoughts directed away from the sense of uselessness that’d begun to settle over her. Speeding up once more, the flier set off to find Sky-byte.

Looking for a Decepticon in purple, grey, and blue. Swerve paging Needlenose: stand up so he can blast you.
Things look like a real mess even from Swerve's vantage as he peels around the mesa. The dust cloud obscures plenty of the battlefield, but it's near impossible to miss Omega Supreme. At least the sight of him doesn't make Swerve's engine hitch this time, though if the racer knew what was good for him, it would. He doesn't, (un)fortunately, and the thought of getting back into the fight lends him impetus.
Safe bet his target isn't conveniently standing on or even next to the roadway, if his luck keeps running the way it has been, so he can bear to ignore the problems of off-roading; he's occupied with dodging debris and searching anyway. A Decepticon in grey, purple, and blue should stick out like a sore thumb in all this black stuff.
Here, Decepticon…!

The mosquitoes are failing to draw blood, so to speak, but it's all the better for them. Wouldn't do to attract Omega Supreme's attention.
Someone has shot his foot! He can actually feel it. There are damage alerts and everything. It's not nearly as bad as the other shot, but he's going to be limping a bit, not that he's ever fast in this form. Omega Supreme looks to see who it is, but Needlenose's plan of being sneaky-sneaky is working so far, and Starscream is just so much more annoying.
Speaking of which, Starscream, it's a bad thing to get verbally beaten by a guy who hates sentences with more than two words in them. In fact, as Omega Supreme points his giant cannon of doom at Starscream, he has a few choice words for the Seeker: "Shut up."
It's not the fiery light of plasma perdition that lances forth. Instead, Omega suddenly pivots down and brings up his injured leg to kick the Seeker, much the way that Devastator kicked Grimlock.
Dimly, it registers to Omega Supreme that the odder-looking blue Seeker is flying away, but mainly, he just hopes that he kicks Starscream in the head.

Lookie here! Down in the impact furrow of Omega Supreme's landing is a Decepticon in purple, grey, and blue!
Needlenose's antennae twitch, and then he pushes himself away from the edge and back into the depths of the gouge. He runs along it once more, this time heading in the opposite direction he had run before, then once again scrambles up and pops off another shot. Given how much the sky has cleared out, this one should pack more punch than last one, but it's only a matter of time before Zigzag starts running low on charge instead.
This time, Needlenose doesn't wait to see if the blast hits. As soon as the shot is fired he drops back down into the gouge and runs again, this time continuing in his previous direction. Hmmm... going to run out of gouge here shortly.

Fleetwind sighs. He really had been hoping someone else would volunteer to turn the gunman into a big, obvious, two man flying target. But apparently there was no one else for the job.
The pastel Seeker considers whether or not following orders is worth the risk. Well, if it looks like Omega Supreme has finally pinpointed them, he can always just drop Needlenose and hightail it out of there. It's unlikely, with everything else going on, that Omega Supreme would put a high priority on finishing off the little yellow Seeker.
That decision made, he begins to search for Needlenose, while realizing he has nothing more than a color description to go by. But then another shot blasts out towards Omega Supreme, and Fleetwind can see where it's coming from. He dives for the other.

..Where is everyone? Starscream is almost left on his own against Omega Supreme. That was NOT part of the plan. Fortunately, the Aerial commander is a bit more maneuverable in the sky than a gigantic metal T-Rex with zero flight capability. He wasn't fast enough to avoid the kick entirely, but he got knocked around, rather than actually damaged. Starscream delivered another strafing run over Omega, when he realized that the Guardian robot was relatively undistracted. Starscream took an effort to remind people of their large friend.

Purple, blue, and grey… purple, blue, and– Oh, hello. That looks rather like someone in purple, blue, and grey there shooting at the big guy. Swerve will assume that's who he's after here.
…Gonna have to avoid that gun.
Swerve shifts gears, taps the brake, and snaps off the road in a turn sharp enough to cause whiplash. He hates off-road. Hates it. But the promise of smashing on a Decepticon (even if it isn't that lousy Dead End) makes up for it. He lays on all the speed he can and the sound of a high-performance engine keening at not-quite full throttle might be audible if there's a lull in the general racket. If you can't hear that, how about spotting the Cyber Key plummeting from the sky?
Yeah, stealth really isn't Swerve's forte. Oh well.
Once he thinks he has a clear shot – Needlenose still has a little cover at the end of that huge scar in the ground – and again shakes off the bizarre feeling that hits him along with the power boost, Swerve opens fire.

Being big has its rather obvious upsides, but the downside is that Omega Supreme is the broadside of the barn. Blind mechanisms can hit him.
Targetmasters, especially Decepticon Targetmasters, seem to have this major history of ineptitude, however. Triggerhappy and Misfire come to mind.
Omega Supreme is big, but he's a moving target. Zig-Zag has severe trouble hitting things that are standing still. The shot goes wide, wider than Omega Supreme, and only grazes Omega Supreme's leg, which is still bad enough to shake and rattle Omega Supreme, and it leaves an ugly mark and some circuit damage underneath his armour.
Omega Supreme watches Starscream tumble about but notes the lack of real damage. However, it dawns on him that there's a pastel yellow Seeker and an Autobot car both headed in the same direction. Omega Supreme looks in that direction. Hey, what's up with the grey fellow down there? Omega Supreme hadn't noticed him.
Is it possible that he's the shooter? He seems to be in the right place. But he's so tiny!
Omega Supreme decides to settle this the only way he knows how: by firing off a blast of his arm cannon at the grey Decepticon.

Dammit, Zigz- oh, god, he's seen us!
With reflexes and strength he didn't have before he arrived in this strange place, Needlenose pushes himself away from the furrow edge he had been leaning on, sending himself into a graceful back flip and, coincidentally, taking himself out of the path of Swerve's attack. His combined gun in his right hand, he lands on the palm of his left and pushes up again, continuing to spring backwards. It's this quick action that saves his life. The curve of the flip has just brought him into an upright position when Omega Supreme's blast hits, focused on where Needlenose had been only moments before. Still, this close, even the shockwave of such a blast is formidable, and Needlenose, along with a considerable amount of desert flooring, is flung far into the air. He lands hard some 30 yards away and screams as one wing, the already damaged one, twists unnaturally beneath him and a boulder comes down, crushing his left arm.
You two! Separate! Now! Needlenose orders over his mental link with the Nebulans. Zigzag, to my holster!
He doesn't even wait for Zigzag to re-station himself. As soon as Sunbeam is free of the accuracy constraints of the other, he raises his weapon and fires once more, this time aiming for the optics.

Needlenose has been spotted, and Omega Supreme has fired! Fleetwind darts back as far out of the line of fire as he can safely get, and is still sent tumbling backwards.
Okay. There is no way. No. Way. Fleetwind will be carrying around someone being targeted by that kind of firepower. He'll try his chances with Starscream's ire over that.
Speaking of Starscream, the Air Commander's been too occupied to advise him on whether or not to intersect Swerve. Not that it matters, because Fleetwind's mind is certainly made up. The pastel Seeker recovers from his tumble, reorients himself, and transforms, flying low towards Swerve in a strafing run. Pewpewpewpewpew!

So what, everyone is afraid of the gigantic crimson death machine or something?
Starscream becomes aware that nobody else is fighting Omega now except for this. THAT is why he has not been able to comment about engaging "Oh, scrap this..!" He says out loud before changing his vector.
The best Starscream can do is try and save his heavy artillery. He transformed into robot mode again, firing a few blasts at the rock that is trapping Needlenose's arm. He's quite confidant at making the shot, but he is still a fair distance away to make it unnerving for the Targetmaster.

Alright, so shooting was kinda pointless. Scratch that. Very pointless. That gun on Omega is officially what-the-frag-gauge. Why is Swerve even leaking here if Omega's gonna go and try to vapourise all his fun?
Swerve slows as the wave of force and heat – and accompanying debris – from Omega's cannon blast hits him. Being slower means being an easier target, especially to those coming from the air, and he turns a cry of pain into a string of curses with Fleetwind's attack stitching a line across his dented, dinged-up hood. He skids, swerves, then transforms in a tumble of shifting parts and flying sand. It takes him a split second to recover from the spin and then he's furiously scanning the sky. There, that yellow one. Primus, what a weird-looking chassis on it, too.
He might just learn to hate fliers; he'll settle for shooting at this one right now. He still has to go see another Decepticon about a disarming and–
And what in Primus' name is the wacky fireworks display about?

Omega Supreme is blinded in his primary pair of optics, and his visor is cracked. He howls in pain, echoing off the mesa walls. Then, he swivels his head around 180 degrees. See, Omega Supreme has a gun on the back of his head. He shoots people with it, and it has his own visual sensors.
The more obvious reasons aside, it's a good thing Omega Supreme was never a teacher. He really does have eyes in the back of his head. The students would hate him.
Omega Supreme feels like he's being torn in a half dozen different directions. He needs to blast the shooter to ensure his continued safety. He needs to step on Dead End for talking about his Long Haul that way. He needs to smack Starscream, because he's annoying. He needs to kill Hook.
He needs to kill Hook.
If in doubt, and he's in doubt here, with so many fine points, he might as well go with the most important one. Forget taking out the artillery piece that can actually injure him. Forget revenge on Dead End. Forget the opportunity to rid the universe of Starscream.
Omega Supreme turns and grapples the mesa. This time, he isn't trying to tear off a rock shield. Instead, he awkwardly climbs the side and pulls himself to the top. A rockslide or two later, and Omega Supreme stands atop the mesa, and he casts his shadow over the power plant.
He hasn't seen Hook anywhere, ergo Hook is somewhere where Omega Supreme can't see him. It's time to go looking.

Needlenose's arm is freed of the giant rocks! Sadly, however, it's still crushed, and will be out of commission this whole fight. And Primus, but that wing shoved up underneath him hurts.
He clambers to his feet, and takes a moment to throw Starscream a confused, somewhat off-balanced look. He got rescued by... Starscream. Okay, even if Starscream had good reason for it, that's still one to remember. Not because he thinks he owes Starscream anything, or anything like that, but because if this Starscream is anything like his (and he certainly sounds like it), we're talking one of the most self-centered mechs ever to wear the purple-pointy.
Then Omega Supreme scrambles up the mesa, and Needlenose curses. From the angle he's at, the mesa itself is in the way. He turns and runs in the other direction, not fleeing, but getting far enough away from the base of the plateau that he can fire again.
//Distraction's over! I'll be in range to fire again in a bit, but looks like Hook's out of time!//
