When Demolishor vanished, Bumblebee just.. stared. Was that supposed to do something?
..apparently so as heavy artillery fire passes from Wedge through Demolishor and into Bumblebee. Ack!
Bumblebee didn't even know he needed to defend himself against his ally and caught it square-on. This, coupled with his previous damage, was enough to knock poor Bumblebee out. He is sent flying before he collapsed limply to the ground. A few stray sparks flew out from his chest.

The one time in which his aim is right, Wedge watches in wide-eyed horror and surprise as the bolt passes straight through Demolisher's center right into Bumblebee. What sort of messed of Decepticon technology is this? The power to become incorporeal? What the heck? Panic starts to well up slowly and he rushes to get between Bumblebee and that Decepticon. He's not making the mistake of letting someone else become another shield against attacks. Experiencing that first hand as well has taught him a lesson well enough. How long is Bumblebee going to be out? If Wedge's own hit by Synapse's blaster has taught him anything, the yellow bot will be frozen for at least a few minutes...
His rushed thoughts and dash are halted as the world around him explodes, a large pulse blasting through the air and the sky lighting up with an even brighter light than before. 'Wha?' is all Wedge can come up with as the ground suddenly leaves his feet. Everything becomes full speed again as he comes back to the earth. A pained cry torn from his vocalizer as he lands awkwardly on one shoulder, twisting and warping his left shovel.
Desperately, Wedge flips himself onto his front and begins crawling back up to Bumblebee.
"Hey, talk to me, man. Fight it! Fight it!"

Well, that was different.
Demolishor returned to the sight of the yellow Autobot collapsed on the ground and the other one panicking over it. Politely (and in an attempt to get away before they realized he was shootable again), he backed away towards the cliff wall, still trying to figure out what was going on. He'd warped, but then again he hadn't, like the time Megatron set up a warp loop but without the benefit of actually going anywhere.
Still...one Autobot down without him lifting a finger. Not bad.
The flash and noise came, but Demolishor's tank mode kept him mostly stable while rocks and from the cliff above rain down upon him. He kept backing away, looking for the source of the explosion.
"Did I do that?" he wondered. Perhaps the half-warp was a thing Cybertronians were Not Meant to Know.

Wedge spares a dirty glare at where Demolisher...had been. His systems nearly skipped a cycle when he realizes that the Decepticon is no longer there any more. It's the flash of tan against black rock that brings Wedge to find Demolisher once more. Slipping against gravel and scree, he gets back onto his feet. A glance at what looks like the gauge of the blaster makes Wedge realize he only has a couple shots left.
Aim a bit shaky, Wedge levels the gun back at Demolisher. A snarl on his face as he stands between the large Decepticon and Bumblebee. He looks a mess, he feels a mess, and he's in a mess. Let's just hope that Demolisher doesn't catch on to this fact any time soon.

Dead End comes hurtling around a pile of fallen slabs of rock, throwing yet more dust into the already dust- and smoke-saturated air. He brakes and swerves violently, narrowly missing Demolishor. The crud in the air still cluttered his radar screens, not mention being hard to see through.
"Oh, sorry about that! Visibility is something awful right now." // Which one shall I engage? // Dead End asks politely over the radio, driving between Demolishor and Wedge. Demolishor can shoot over Dead End's low roof, of course.

//Take the 'dozer. The yellow one's pretty out of it and the other guy looks about to join him.//
Demolishor shook himself, scattering rocks and dirt the way a dog might scatter water onto his well-dressed owner. He rumbled forward again, heading a bit to the side of Dead End so as to not shoot him by accident or if the plot demanded that he do so. Wouldn't be the first time.

Wedge blanches as a sporty car comes racing up. It's not until the newcomer skids next to Demolisher that the sinking feeling in him is amplified. So that's not an Autobot then. His attention is briefly diverted as he finally gives his situation over Autobot broadband.
"Hey, you better back off if you know what's good for you!"
...His mouth has sprung another leak, the possibility of things getting worse is probably a lot greater now. Now there's nothing else really to do but back up his hasty words. It's not as if he can outrun the sporty new Decepticon, with or without Bumblebee scooped up in his shovel in alt-mode. Determinedly, Wedge spreads his stance and readies the blaster once more. He won't shoot yet, only if he knows if he can hit one of them. That probably won't be until someone charges or is right on top of him.

// Demolishor, Starscream has ordered us to retreat back to the west. Transform into whichever mode you move the fastest in and pull out. I'll cover you and catch up. //
"I would actually rather that you fall down and remain still," Dead End replies to Wedge. He fires both trunk-mounted blasters at the orange Autobot, then darts off, circling the area tightly. The heavier chunks have finished falling, though the dust is still heavy in the air.

//Got it. Just gimme a bit.//
Demolishor transformed, slow and aching and feeling rather lightheaded after his partial warp. He could move faster on foot with all these falling rocks and thinks exploding at random intervals; once he got to firmer ground he'd take his tank mode back again.
A few sparks danced around his midsection as he stumbled off towards the west.

Wedge ducks down to avoid the incoming blasts from Dead End. Those blasts go on over the spot where Wedge had been and strike the mesa wall behind him, sending rocks and shrapnel flying everywhere. Immediately, he throws himself down trying to give Bumblebee some sort of cover.
Synapse's blaster shakes in his hands, or are his hands shaking the blaster? Through the dust and dirt raining down through the air, Wedge tries to get a bead on the Decepticon. Don't get scrapped, don't get scrapped, don't get scrapped. That's all he has to do. That and blast some Decepticon aft. Wedge refuses to let these bullies get away without doing some sort of damage to them.
Getting an aim on Dead End, he fires.

Dead End is moving fast in car mode, but Wedge's shot clips his right rear fender anyway. Electricity crawls across fender and trunk, then fades away. There's a sharp lash of pain as two forcefield nodes fail, fried by the surge of electricity into the field; Dead End's sensors continue to tingle unpleasantly for some time afterwards. He's lost forcefield coverage on his right rear fender and trunk and lower left leg.
His trunk is full of highly explosive fuel. Well, Dead End didn't expect to get out of the day alive. That he's survived so far is an accident of ridiculously good luck that can't possibly last.
The dark red Stunticon skids to a halt and transforms, trunk contents sliding into his feet1. He swings his concussion rifle up and rapid-fires at the orange construction-bot, methodically squeezing off precise shots as quickly as he can pull the trigger. His first target is the gun (and arm holding it) to disarm; second, joints, to disable. Sure kills are uncertain, hard to get in a battle like this--but a disabled Autobot isn't chasing him and Demolishor, and he will be a burden to any pursuing 'Bots.
// Commander, Demolishor is damaged and is retreating slowly. I have sustained light damage. If I am destroyed, someone will need to cover his retreat, // Dead End announces somberly over the Decepticon broadband.
1 Yes, Dead End has hollow feet. That's where his trunk contents wind up, since they are storage. His passenger compartment is not storage; transforming with squishy passengers would be... squishy.

Demolishor pondered his options. On the one set of guns, he was injured and ordered to retrea. On the second set of of guns, Dead End wasn't a complete jerk and had managed to come to his rescue. Decisions, decisions.
Bah. Might as well.
Demolishor snapped his arm to one side and began firing as he walked, as long as Wedge stayed within range. At least it might help the other Decepticon's whining...

Wedge's hold is relinquished from his blaster with a howl, cradling his arm tenderly. Moving is not much of an option, either he gets blasted or the yellow bot below him will get blasted. Wedge sets his jaw and glares pointedly in the Stunticon's direction. No he's not moving. Blast away coward! Wedge's dare is answered and he watches as the shots keep on coming. A whimpering keen breaks out of his mouth and he ducks down to hide his pained expression. The next blasts make a spectacular show of sparks as they hit his elbows. His knees are spared the same disabled fate by his knee guards, the guards left smoking instead.
It doesn't quite stop there either. A shower made up of heavy laser fire peppers down on him. Sure, shoot at a bot when he's down! He can only hold out so much longer, tough armor for construction safety wasn't entirely made with a downpour of lasers in mind. Wedge grimaces as the feeling of searing heat builds up where the lasers make repeated contact.
His breath hitches as he finally realizes that without a doubt, this isn't just a really bad dream anymore. Dreams don't hurt like this, and dreams always had his team there to bail him out.
"Come on, wake up. Wake up!" Wedge pleads to the comatose bot beneath him.

Here comes the cavalry!
Erm. Wait. Doesn't this seem somewhat familiar? Everything reminds Kup of something else, but bailing Wedge out of being over his head reminds the veteran of half an hour ago!
The pick-up rolls, bumps, and bounces at the best speed he dares, careful not to go so fast as to bump Nightbeat right out of his bed, but it's neither an easy nor a gentle ride. Caution only works so far when there are others in danger on the field.
The battered truck skids and twists to a stop, inserting himself neatly between the Decepticons and the crippled (or unconscious) Autobots. Then he growl-shouts, voice rough, furious, and challenging. "Stunticoooooon!! If I have to dump Nightbeat on the ground to transform, I will, and then I'll take it out on you by beating you so damned hard your gestalt-mates back home will be feeling it! Now get the blazes outta here, you punk!"

Oh dear. Kup could actually be dangerous, especially with some of Dead End's forcefields off line. On the other wheel, he was burdened with wounded, and the orange Autobot was no longer a threat.
Dead End sidles toward Demolishor and westward, never turning his back on the Autobots. His rifle muzzle points vaguely toward the ground near Kup's tires.
"Demolishor. Pull out, now." Dead End added privately, // Kup is too tough for us to take in our conditions. You are damaged, I am low on energy. Were we both in good shape, it would be a different fight.//
To the Autobot he says, "That would be pointless. You have wounded; attack me, and they are exposed to Demolishor. I have a retreat to cover; wasting time battling you would be foolish."
