Having regained his composure (Fall? What fall?), Mirage remarks, “Unusual reactions are to be expected, I suppose. We have no way of knowing the unbiased truth of our current companions’ prior circumstances; we have only what they choose to share, and their own points-of-view to consider.” He shrugs, “Perhaps in her world, Autobots are no more trustworthy than Decepticons.” He doesn’t seem too concerned about the whole affair.
As he starts toward Omega Supreme, he glances back in the direction Screwdriver and Nightbeat had headed. The other Autobot seemed to take Xaaron’s command without complaint; but then, if he came from Xaaron’s timeline, perhaps it was simply habit. Soldiers don’t question orders; how many times had Mirage been told that one? Too many.
“You mentioned that there were Decepticons on the planet as well, and that they had already engaged you in battle,” he said, “Has anything useful been gained regarding their capabilities and resources? Or has reconnaissance been impractical?” Until now. he silently adds.
Mirage isn’t exactly volunteering for spy detail. However, he harbors no illusions as to what will likely be expected of him. Fighting ones function tends to become a losing proposition.

Emirate Xaaron shakes his head at the chase. He is confident enough in Nightbeat's ability to hunt her down, especially if he gets some of that assistance he asked for on the radio. In retrospect, it seems like summoning Nightbeat was what set off Screwdriver. How could he have handled the situation better? It is possible she would have gone off, even if he had not summoned Nightbeat. He will have to mull it over.
Mirage thinks that Autobots are trustworthy? Emirate Xaaron certainly does not intend to belie that assumption.
Emirate Xaaron explains, "Perhaps. The Decepticons appear to be led by Starscream, a Decepticon flier and their usual Air Commander. They have a number of more Seekers - those are Decepticon fliers of a certain body shape - with them. Do forgive me if I explain too much, but it is better than explaining too little. They also have a pair of special operations personnel by the names of Needlenose and Spinister. Needlenose is toting the sort of weaponry you'd usually use to take down a capital ship." Emirate Xaaron grimaces. "They have the Stunticon Dead End, a car Decepticon. They have the Constructicon Hook. There were a few others, and it is almost certain that more will join them as time passes. We need to work on picking out names and capabilities, but things have been hectic to say the least. Not massive forces by any means, but as long as Needlenose possesses that kind of firepower, we will need to work carefully. We encountered them at a power plant, and they did escape with a good deal of energy. I want to get our fliers out for some surveying, but that has not been tenable yet."
He pauses just out beyond the track surrounding Omega Supreme. With a wave of an arm, he hails, "Omega Supreme! This is Mirage. He's not my Mirage, but he might be your Mirage from way back."

He ponders the information Xaaron has given. Most of those named are unknown to him, but he can’t hold back a grimace at the thought of Starscream.
“I suppose I should be glad you’ve not mentioned Megatron, but truthfully, the thought of Starscream running amok unfettered by Megatron’s influence is an…unpleasant one. Whatever reality this one might be from, I can’t imagine him being anything but a treacherous, egotistical, yet highly dangerous braggart whose complete lack of subtlety is only overshadowed by his zealous belief in his own superiority. If he ever wrests control of the Decepticons away from Megatron, we will truly be at the mercy of a madman.” Mirage smiles slightly, “A madman with the dulcet tones of a angry fisher-fem!”
He pauses with Emirate Xaaron. At the Emirate’s introduction, also raises a hand in greeting, “We had an Omega Supreme on my Cybertron as well. You look much the same, though the last time I saw you, you sported no brand.” He sighed, “But then, neither did I.”
“Perhaps our times are not as dissimilar as some.” Mirage says, glancing at Emirate Xaaron.

Omega Supreme has sported his brand, and a brand it really is, marking him as a slave, since his creation. Still, it has become a mark of pride, of those who uphold freedom, even the freedom of others, against tyranny in all forms.
He is currently vacant. Most of the Autobots are either out and about or inside the improvised base in the garage. All is quiet and still inside of him. He has watched the action unfolding around him, but while he is not starving by any means, he is saving his strength for when they really need it. The other Autobots appear to have their own little situations in hand. Omega Supreme watches and he listens and he does little more. He in particular watches over Long Haul, who appears to be in the singularly unthreatening situation of staring at a small creature with Jazz.
Omega Supreme greets his visitors, because he feels that he should, "Salutations. Status: unoccupied. Garage: busier."
If they seek good conversation, that is where they will go.

Emirate Xaaron, as he sees it, has four main problems here: Mirage, Screwdriver, Hardwire, and Skyfire.
Mirage needs to be taken to someone persuasive who can convince Mirage that his best bet is staying with this ragged band of Autobots and being cooperative. Emirate Xaaron is confident he can handle it. However, he has three other pressing problems.
Nightbeat should be able to deal with Screwdriver, especially if someone answered Nightbeat's call for help. There hasn't been a second call for help, and Nightbeat has been discussing Hardwire, so Emirate Xaaron is going to assume that Nightbeat isn't dead. When they bring Screwdriver in for questioning, he'll worry about her again, but for now, he sets the issue aside.
He's told Perceptor to keep Hardwire where he is. As long as Perceptor can do that, they can question Hardwire later. They really need to build a brig, although they can keep people inside Omega Supreme's temporary holding cells until then.
Skyfire poses a rather prickly problem. They certainly could use a scientist and explorer. There's a rather sour feeling in his fuel tanks at the mention of Starscream being Skyfire's partner. Starscream? A scientist? The idea is laughable. Then again, Emirate Xaaron himself comes from a science background. Maybe the idea isn't too out there, then. Even more than Mirage, they need to have someone that this Skyfire will find trustworthy explain the situation and explain them quickly, or they may find themselves facing yet another foe.
He pauses to make a radio to the Autobots. Then, he looks to Mirage and offers, gesturing with a flourish, "Omega Supreme, as I said. And thank you, Omega Supreme. Now, would you like to meet the others, Mirage?"
Hopefully yes. Then Emirate Xaaron can help Perceptor with Hardwire and maybe find someone to show Mirage the place.

“Of course. If you’ll kindly lead the way?”
Mirage is anticipating being pawned off on one of those “others.” Emirate Xaaron is obviously functioning in a quasi-leadership position. Between the issues with Screwdriver and the chat Mirage has been catching over the general broadband, Xaaron would likely prefer to be freed from his current job as tour guide.
And Mirage would like to actually see someone that bears more than a passing semblance to someone from his reality, Omega Supreme not withstanding.

“Right this way,” Emirate Xaaron replies. He is not cheerful, per se, as he certainly has a lot on his plate, and that’s obvious to anyone with functional optics or a radio. He is, however, calm and not letting his stresses get the better of him.
Emirate Xaaron heads toward what looks to have once been an alien parking garage but has since been hollowed out and reworked by Cybertronians.
OOC: Feel free to just jump over to the Salvage thread. I’ll follow.
