OOC: For chronological purposes, consider this thread to take place the morning after the scene in the Morgue. As always, please ignore any temporal inconsistencies with the radio threads. Holi has not yet actually gone into the city, although that's the point of this thread. Right now, he's still milling around the Autobot installation. Wheelie is free to come along, decline, or even ignore altogether as he wishes; if anyone has any requests for Holi while he's out looking for things, now is the time to make them. He won't be very hard to find.
Everything is relatively quiet as Holi makes a quick round of the area, checking into nooks and crannies too small for anyone of reasonable size to fit. When he finds nothing, on he bustles. Busy, busy little bot. Don't worry, he still remembers that he promised to go searching inside buildings on behalf of the other Autobots if it'll help – he thinks it will, too – and that's exactly what he plans to do. As soon as he finds Wheelie, anyway. They're supposed to go searching together, after all! "Wheeeeeeeeelieeeeeeeee!" …So much for it being quiet. Oh, dear. He sure hopes he didn't wake up anyone; some of them have been keeping peculiar hours because of all the work being done. Poor Long Haul and Perceptor, especially. Oddly, neither of them are where they can usually be found. Strange. They must be busy working again. They really should rest more. Maybe if that grumpy Swerve would help out more around here…. Someone should talk to him about that! Kup was, wasn't he? That's what it sounded like on the radio. Good. And if Swerve doesn't listen to Kup, well, Holi will talk to him, too! In the meantime, the Micromaster has to find Wheelie. Time to try the radio. // Wheelie! Do you still want to go looking in the city with me? //

Not too far from the little Micro, a black and gold body is squatted down, sitting in a dark area of the hall, running self diagnostics and muttering to himself, possibly saying not-nice things in piratey-talk about a certain Air Commander, until he hears the call for Wheelie, stumbling up and into the wall, groaning from the impact, and turning to investigate.
"Oi, wot's all th' noise about, lad?" he inquires once encountering the small mech.

Holi startles slightly at the thud and takes a half-step back as a bulky body – Hardwire, the half-visor and gruff accent tell him before he registers the familiar, unique paint job – rises from the shadows at the corner ahead.
"O-oh! I'm sorry, Hardwire!" and he really is, "I must have just missed you there!" He hadn't meant to, honest! "I'm looking for Wheelie. Have you seen him anywhere this morning?" Then Holi pauses and blinks. The larger Autobot looks a little upset, he realises with a concerned frown. "Is everything alright?" he asks with all due sincerity. Hardwire rather looks like he could use a smile right about now.

Hardwire's frown moves to a bit of a scowl. This little 'bot was more eager to please than any upstart Cabin Bot he'd ever come across. Oh, yeah, they say they're gonna be pirates and do great and terrible things across the galaxy, but never want to start properly at the bottom of the fuel chain. Always getting in the way and getting scrapped before their potential can be realized.
...perhaps the little bot could be useful, somehow. Most eager-to-please types have some degree of worth, after all.
As for a reply, Hardwire grunts and half-growls. "M' radio's busted, an' I be 'avin' a 'ankerin' t' return th' favor to the blighter who done messed it up."

"Your radio?" Holi looks confused for a moment, then understanding dawns and he gives Hardwire a concerned frown. "I can't believe you haven't been to see Doctor for repairs yet," he says. He doesn't address the threats of vengeance, just turns and gestures for the larger Autobot to follow him. "This way, please!"
Why, yes, he does plan to lead Hardwire to the repair area. Looks like finding Wheelie and heading out to the city will have to wait a little while longer.
// Doctor, sir… Long Haul? I'm sorry to bother you, but… I'm bringing Hardwire down. He says his radio's been damaged. //

Perceptor's answer isn't immediate; he's buried both physically and mentally in the middle of the fabricator unit he's been trying to get up and running since having completed Jazz's repairs.
Although all the base technologies inherent in all the mechs present is unmistakably Cybertronian, their ultimate application differs quite significantly from representatives of one reality to another. And, while having the remains of mechs from a reality that seems, physically, as identical to several of the others as possible is quite advantageous for those mechs, those parts had required significant modification to be made to work for Bumblebee and Jazz.
They probably still feel just a little... off, too.
Perceptor is a realist enough to know that someone will manage to get themselves injured again, and likely, all too soon, and mechs from the less familiar realities will almost certainly appreciate having repairs done with parts and materials built for their design specifications. Cybertronian technology adapts to Cybertronian technology, however, nothing beats parts originally designed for the specifications of which they are being utilized.
Of course, that hinges on getting the fabricator units up and running, and manufacturing the fine internal components for such from scratch is thoroughly occupying the scientist's attention. Several beats pass before Perceptor finally replies, a faintly distracted tone in his voice.
// Damaged radio? Ah, yes. Of course, // he answers, absently tacking the coordinates to his current location on at the end.

Hardwire's soured expression gets a bit sweeter - His assumption had paid off.
"Sure thing, lad. I'll be plenty 'appy tae be able t' git in radio contact again" he answers, following the smaller mech toward the repair area.
What Hardwire didn't know at the time, is that the frequency memory in his radio had been blown, so no making angry house calls to Starscream once he's fixed...

Holi misses the almost-smile on Hardwire's face as he troops dutifully through the corridors. It's a relatively short trip down to repair and Holi peers around the doorframe once he gets there. Oh, dear. Perceptor looks busy.
"Doctor, sir?" he begins. "I brought Hardwire…." Yes, he just stated the obvious. He's really at a loss for much else to say, save an apology for interrupting Perceptor's work.

Perceptor twitches and pulls himself out of the bowels of the fabrication unit that he is currently half immersed in and glances over his shoulder. The sight of the micromaster peeking around the edge of the doorway summons a foldly welcoming smile to his features, and he bids Holi and Hardwire enter with a brief wave.
"Ah! Thank you, Holi," Perceptor replies cheerfully, as unconcerned with the interruption as Holi is concerned. An attempt at an apology would likely baffle the scientist, were Holi to try.
"My apologies, Hardwire. I should have been more diligent in ensuring that everyone had received the appropriate repairs. Is it only your radio that is damaged?" he asks, moving over to one of the repair stations that had been cobbled together since moving everything into more dedicated quarters than Omega Supreme's interior.
"Holi, are you still planning on attempting a foray into the city? If neither Kup nor Xaaron have any specific requests of me, I would like to join you. I require materials and finer components to continue work on the fabrication units and those materials would be more easily located scavenging in the city than here."

Wheelie suddenly pops up. Where exactly he'd been hiding, not even he's quite sure, but hey look, here he is.
After all, when you're that small and damn near everything else on the planet wants to eat you, you learn how to get quiet.
"Wheelie says let's blow this place! He's tired of looking at old 'bot's face!"

Hardwire steps in a bit, glancing around, feeling a twinge of nervousness. Hopefully, there wouldn't be any tell-tale signs of his faction on his innards.
"Aye, radio's the only thing important damaged. Ev'rthing else be simply scratches, lad." he said, noting a couple of scarred bits on his shoulder panels.
Perceptor and Holi, he noted these names. And Wheelie, since that 'Holi' fellow had been bellowing for him earlier. Other gathered names from earlier were Long Haul for the green bloke, and Kup for the other green one, the older-looking one. Screwdriver, that wacky orange femme, Swerve, and Arcee. And Omega Supreme of course, but just about all the Decepticons knew he was here anyway.
And then the orange one pops up! Hardwire stumbles a bit, caught by surprise and shooting him a glare. "Ach, don' be doin' that, lad! That'll get ye 'urt if'n ye ain' careful!"

Perceptor doesn't seem to mind at all. That's good, then!
"You're welcome," Holi pipes back with a relieved smile. He then turns that smile, all good cheer now, on Hardwire. "Don't you worry, Hardwire. The Doctor is the best! He'll take care of you!" As if Perceptor really needs someone to vouch for his skills for him. Really, Holi just wants to reassure the black and green and gold Autobot. He seems awfully nervous.
For a moment, all concerns for Hardwire and even Perceptor briefly blank from Holi's process queue. He can't help staring. Perceptor – the Doctor – just asked to come along on the salvage run.
"S– Sure!" Holi grins up at the scientist like his day has just been made. "I'll–" And then Wheelie pops up. Holi is quick to amend his half-formed declaration. "We'll make sure to find whatever you need, won't we, Wheelie!" For the Micromaster, it isn't really even a question. He was going to try his best anyway, but now he'll have to try twice as hard. Somehow, he manages not to frown at what his orange friend actually says, though he's pretty sure Wheelie means Kup. What does he have against Kup? Holi will have to try and ask. Maybe while they're out on search.

The fond smile widens at the micromaster before Perceptor glances down at Wheelie as he selects a few tools.
"Greetings, Wheelie. How are your functions today?" From the sound of it, the minibot has had another altercation with Kup. Perceptor makes a mental note to check on the old warrior when he has made Hardwire's repairs.
That, perhaps, is the single most frustrating thing about this situation. Moreso than the simple mystery of how and why they had been brought here, is the stress of reforging relationships once thought established, of reliving memories once thought laid to rest. Of course, the opposite argument is the kindling of new friendships with mechanisms one would never have ordinarily have had the opportunity to meet otherwise. His gaze bounces briefly toward Holi, a soft chuckle escaping him before he turns his attention back to Hardwire.
"How was your radio damaged, Hardwire?" he asks, waiting for the mech to get comfortable and indicate where in his structure said equipment is situated.

Actually, Wheelie's simply spent every moment possible making sure he's wherever Kup isn't. After all, Kup can't try to send him back if he can't find him.
"Wheelie's fine and ready go roll, all this waiting is taking its toll! Let's go, like's ride, let's get out of here, burn rubber fast, give the road something to fear!"

Hardwire straigtens up, turning so his right side faces Perceptor. A few gears whirr inside his head, and the knob-like structure on the side of his head is loosened, rotating out. He removes the unit, which is looking rather worse for wear, as is the port it came from.
"I were with Arcee, when Starscream and that thick-headed tank buggah attacked us. Took some fire from Starscream. Thought it were jus' a grazin' shot, but seems like it did a little more" he explains, holding the radio unit out to Perceptor.
----- OOC: Damage taken is from a low-level laser blast.
