Sorry. Holi keeps using that word. Wheelie does not know what it means. Perhaps he should ask and find out. He'd be rather surprised to learn of the concept of apologizing. Far too used to doing whatever he wanted--within reason, of course, seeing as he was on a hostile planet--whenever he wanted, he'd find the whole thing quite foreign.
"Talk is cheap, action's ready, let's go, let's move, let's keep it steady! Onward and out, don't scream, don't shout, let's look, let's find, let us grab what we had in mind!"

At the dragonette's snapping, Synapse's fingers draw back quickly and he quickly moves back, wincing at the scrabbling actions she commits inside of Holi.
Synapse watches with careful attention as Mirage removes her from Holi's interior. If those pictographs in the building in space are any indication, Tiny will definitely be not-so-tiny in the future. That and Holi would probably have more than a little trouble if the adult dragon gets in his alt-mode.
"Did I interrupt something? Is there something you all are searching for? I would be more than willing to aid you."
Synapse's nodes are no longer so rushed in their movements. They are now making lazy circles above the group, their host quite unaware of the attention that they're receiving.
Holi's apologizing to him? That fact is enough make Synapse blink. "There's...no need to apologize."

Tiny was pulling rather hard on her lead; apparently she wanted a closer look at Synapse. Somehow, Mirage thinks the skittish scout would not appreciate the mecha dragon’s overzealous attentions. Going down on one knee next to her, Mirage places a hand on the back of the Tiny’s neck, gently rubbing at the base. The dragonette starts to calm down, albeit slowly. Really, she’s not that bad a creature; once you get past the rather odd shape, she’s not much different from one of his hounds.
“Holi and Wheelie were heading out on a bit of a salvage run, and Kup asked me to assist them. This area,” he gestured back the way they’d come, “appears to be mostly residential. Those buildings across the way, however, look as if they might be a small merchant district.” Mirage’s tone has improved considerably; perhaps it’s true what they say about pets lowering stress, “Have you perhaps investigated them already?”
He tilts his head slightly, listening to first Perceptor, then Long Haul on the radio. He murmurs, “Hmmm, a library would not be a bad find, as well, then.” Turning his attention to Holi, he asks, “Would you like to check out that com tower Long Haul mentioned at some point? You and Wheelie are likely small enough to actually enter most of these structures.”

Of course Holi would apologise. When he feels some trouble is his fault, or he's done something wrong, or he's offended someone, and he regrets it, he says he's sorry for causing it. That's how apologies work and if Wheelie asks, that's how Holi will answer. He probably gives them a little too often, but that comes with the territory of trying to take too much responsibility on his small shoulders.
"Maybe sometime," the Micromaster answers Mirage's question. The communications tower does sound interesting, but Perceptor is headed there now and Holi has faith that the doctor will handle things just fine. "But Wheelie's right – we still have to find some… um… some computers." He'd nearly forgotten what they'd set out to find!
They also need to find Tiny something to eat, she tries to reminds the party with an anxious little whine. All the petting in the world doesn't sate hunger. What does she eat, anyway, wonders Holi. Long Haul and Emirate Xaaron had been feeding her…. He starts across the park to investigate the buildings Mirage pointed out, not waiting for Synapse to answer. It isn't a lack of respect for the scout that drives him – far from it. Holi is just rather eager to get salvage underway.

Wheelie doesn't say much. His conversational skills are, in fact, quite sub-par. Instead, he settles for simply waiting for the others to move out.
He's not one hundred percent certain what a computer is, but he's reasonably certain it's one of those "you'll know it when you see it" things.

Well, if Perceptor is going to be busy...returning back to the garage can wait.
Synapse doesn't turn to see where Mirage is pointing, instead he looks towards where Holi begins moving. His nodes look back to note where the trio had come from. Yes, the residential area. He remembers peering curiously into darkened rooms. Their interiors seemed untouched and so oddly laid out. He had no reason to intrude before, but now...Synapse tilts his head.
"Yes, they do resemble a merchant area. I haven't had a chance to enter them, but now is a good time," the scout takes a few steps after Holi, looking back every now and then to check on the others. If Holi's looking for dragon food, Synapse has had the chance to spot Xaaron tossing things that look like chargers to Tiny. Though, why there were Decepticon emblems on said capsules...he's not entirely sure why.
His nodes follow easily, taking a closer sweep to the ground as they make to pass by and go on ahead.

Mirage follows along after the others, Tiny trotting along besides. The dragonette seems happy to be moving about after her ride. As he walks he becomes acutely aware of one fact: he, super-spy extraordinaire, one of Cybertron’s elite, had been relegated to the status of dragon-walker and was following the lead of a child. If he were a player in an online role-play, he’d be headdesking repeatedly.
And somewhere, sometime, a Kup is likely laughing for no apparent reason.

This is possibly the most ridiculous-looking game of Follow the Leader ever.
Lead Holi does anyway, trooping dutifully across the park toward what humans would probably dub a strip mall, although the shops themselves – eight in total – have small alleys between them and are arranged in a semicircular configuration. Plenty of little trees and shrubs about, too. It really makes the whole thing fit in nicely with the surroundings.
Right, right, stores. Stay focused, Holi! he reminds himself and looks around the little crescent of shops, approaching close enough to peer in the nearest set of display windows. This one seems to be a clothing store. He's fairly sure that's clothing. Does it really need that many holes, though? He shrugs and moves on. The next is fairly open inside, oddly-shaped tables and sling-like chairs with a display counter toward the back. What was this shop for? Hum.
"Uh… Wheelie, you start on the other end," Holi says as he looks away from the window for a moment. Well, if no-one else is going to try giving orders and they're following him, that makes him the leader… right? Right. So he'll do his best to lead. "We can meet in the middle." No orders for Mirage. Why, one might wonder? Well, because Holi is used to being subordinate to those of the spy's stature. He just doesn't have the rank to order around anyone bigger. But while he's looking in that direction…. "…Does anyone know what to feed Tiny?" asks the Micromaster, watching the dragonette snap at a bulbous flower thing just out of her reach.

//By your word, off I go! Will I find something absurd? Wheelie don't know!" Wheelie sing-songs as he starts over toward his assignment.
Already, he's looking for things that might be useful. He's got a general idea of what to look for, if not in the specifics.

"I think that I've seen Emirate Xaaron feeding what looked like car batteries to her before," says Synapse. "Though, I do not know if the fact that they all had Decepticon emblems on them is important or not."
He makes his own way towards one of the shops, peering curiously through the window. Colorful boxes greet his efforts and Synapse isn't quite sure that these would be any use to them. No one has demonstrated any need for strange alien toys around here. Though further into the store, he sees a box of small capsule like things. If anyone were familiar with Terran items, they might say that the capsules looked like D-sized batteries. Tiny snacks?

Mirage has no idea exactly what he’s seeing inside the building he chose. Proper investigation is, of course, hindered by his being entirely too large to enter. There are rows and rows of similarly sized items. There appear to be markings of sort on the narrow ends of each, and there are plaques with more markings hanging over various areas. The markings are similar to those on the outside of the buildings, and on some of the street signs Mirage had noticed in the residential area. A records station of some sort, maybe?
He’s turning to call Holi over when the broadband channel explodes. Before he can make his own comments, Wheelie nominates Holi for leader and Mirage watches as the Micromaster flails about in shock.1 Holi turns to Wheelie, his rather vocal protests coinciding with his radioed ones. Mirage can’t hide his smile; it’s an amusing thought, if a bit ridiculous in reality.
And then Xaaron replies.
A look that is some combination of horror and anger passes across the spy’s face. “A Decepticon? The Matrix…? But Decepticons are…that…that’s BLASPHEMEOUS!” Mirage tosses Tiny’s leash towards the group, not really caring if someone catches it or not, and stalks off toward the far end of the group of buildings, muttering various invectives under his breath. He’s not leaving his post; he just needs some distance for a few.

"Batteries?" Holi wonders aloud, giving up on the shop full of tables. What an odd thing to eat. Then again, Tiny was something of an odd creature. "Well, maybe we can find her some batteries if we find a store that has computers?" He thinks it makes sense to have electronics supplies in a shop that sells electronics. For all he knows, the natives here stored their batteries in the refridgerated section.
Flail indeed does Holi at the exchange on the radio. Captain of the Rescue Patrol he may be, but he's no Autobot leader! That's for someone brave and strong, like Commander Ginrai, or Supreme Commander Star Saber. Or Kup, or Emirate Xaaron – they're brave, too. They took on the skybull to keep him safe, after all!
"Um," Holi begins and stops, looking at his feet. He needs to compose himself. Wheelie really threw him with that nomination! "Uh… uh… wh-what did everyone else find?" he asks while peering in the next window. There are curtains in the way. Darn. "Anything we can us–" Now Mirage is shouting, the leash goes flying, and Holi's jaw drops. Audibly, even. "Mirage – sir!" he cries, diving for the leash as Tiny starts to bolt for Synapse and those alluring, whirling nodes of his.

Why shouldn't Holi be in charge, though? He's smart, capable, and above all else, friendly and giving. Wheelie, of course, has no idea how politics work, but those certainly seem to be good qualifications to him.
When asked about what he's found, he holds up the various items he's collected. It was a large stack of discs of some sort, along with a couple other items. In short, he'd found a music store and grabbed some CDs, a cd player, and the local equivalent of an ipod. Not that he'd know what any of that was, but they looked useful. And some stuff, like circuitry and wiring, is fairly universal.
"Uh-oh! Trouble, there goes!" Wheelie calls out, as Mirage stalks off and Tiny is let loose.

With all the news of nominations and a vote going on over broadband, the search for supplies here, and some strange chatter on General, Synapse's main sensors aren't the ones that pick up what's going on around him. His nodes can handle that quite well.
Said whirling nodes freeze in their easy movements around their host, a split second later, Synapse does the same. The images being fed to him tell the quick tale of Tiny's escape and it gives his flat-lined mind something to untangle as the mecha-dragon bolts towards him--or rather his nodes. Oh no...ohnononononono!
Stiffly jerking around, Synapse's expression shifts into one of startled horror. A few steps backwards and he feels something smooth and cool at his back and then something give way with a grinding crack. That unexpected give is enough to jolt his processes into action and his nodes fly up, hopefully out of reach of the oncoming dragon. Synapse's arms flail, trying to compensate for the sudden backwards momentum. But overruled by gravity, he finds himself falling flat on his aft while accompanied by the sound of shattering glass.
Synapse grabs the closest thing to him and flings it towards Tiny, hoping to ward her off or at least discourage her. Towards the mecha-dragon flies a pack of capsules the equivalent to Energizer D's.

Mirage pointedly ignores Holi’s call. That’s twice now he’s actually lost his temper in a vocal fashion, and both times that Xaaron fellow prompted it. This whole business had everyone on edge; but that’s no excuse. Still, he needed to cool down. Reaching one of the shops yet to be investigated he’s just started peering through the windows when Synapse falls. Oh dear, all those toys are no longer MOC- how sad.
He looks back just in time to see Tiny snatch whatever Synapse tossed at her out of the air. Whatever it was she’s making short work of it. “I’d throw her a few more of those if I were you,” he drawls. No Mirage is not taking any responsibility for Tiny’s actions; he wasn’t the one put in charge of the damned dragon, after all. The scout should be fine. It wasn’t that bad a fall.
Looking back inside the shop, Mirage makes a sound of satisfaction. There are what looks to be rows of computer terminals inside. Images along the wall are brightly colored, and they seem to depict different factions engaged in battle. Curious. Ah well, they were after computers, and here they were.
“This building has several computer stations, and the previous building I examined may have been some sort of record hall. Hopefully some if this is useful”
