Bluestreak enters the morgue and goes to the table where Prime's body lies. The once bright red and blue of his body has faded to gray, and his chassis is marred with cracks and rips -- not just marks left by Perceptor in his effort to retrieve parts, but ugly wounds that can only mean battle damages. Bluestreak tries not to look at these, but at the battle-masked face.
"Um... hi." A more logical mind might call him crazy for addressing a dead body, but Bluestreak would like to believe that there is some means for the great leader to hear his words. There are humans that believe in being able to contact the dead, after all; couldn't there be some truth to those beliefs?
"I don't think I'm going to get a chance to tell you this -- or at least your living self. From what I hear, even if I go back to Autobot City, I'm not going to get that chance. So... I might as well say it now. And hope you can hear me.
"Prime... thank you. For all you did. I know it was hard leading an army, especially one like ours. Sometimes I wondered how you kept your sanity protocols after long days of butting heads with Red Alert or Grimlock or the twins... heck, even Prowl and Jazz and Ratchet could be difficult in their own ways. And sometimes our fight seemed so hopeless, especially when the Decepticons completely took over Cybertron.
"And yet you never backed down. You never gave up. You always picked yourself up after a fall and urged us onward. You... you really inspired me. I looked up to you. And when I felt like I couldn't go on, like this war was too much and there was no way I could pick up a gun and go out to fight again, I looked at you and I somehow found the courage to keep going."
He lowers his head, and the last comes out a whisper. "Goodbye. We'll miss you. 'Til all are one."
And he turns and leaves the room, ready to head out of repair.
OOC: Bluestreak's out of the thread unless Holi wants to nab him. I'm fine with it ending here if Holi is, though.
