She looks between First Aid and Wedge. "How do we want to split up the area?"

First Aid might wince, if he were capable of it, so it's probably good he's not. He sympathizes with Wedge completely - he wants his team! This is out of his field, he wants Hot Spot to tell him what to do and set up a search grid. Hot Spot makes everything seem manageable.
He turns his head to Firebolt and nods. “Thank you,” he says softly, “I like you too.”
More loudly, “We don’t want to split up into ones, Firebolt, don’t worry. Kup knows what he’s doing – this sort of search is best done in teams.” First Aid is just guessing that it was Kup who gave the orders, but it seems a reasonable assumption – it’s typical Kup practicality.
“If Hot Spot were here – he’s my team’s leader – he’d probably say that the best thing to do is to get going. Nothing gets done standing still! So!” First Aid claps his hands together and takes a step forward. “It’s not a large area, we’re a small group, as long as we pay attention to each other we should be fine.”

Wedge just wants his team here with the support they've always had for their young leader. He wants their comfort and encouragement. Spoiled reasons yes, but they're reasons.
"Alright! So, I guess Firebolt's with you then, and Airazor, you're with me. If that's alright with everyone," Wedge says to First Aid, flashing everyone a pleased smile. "Airazor and I can take this end of the area and meet you and Firebolt in the middle. Just yell if you think you've found anything." This is going to be just like looking for the O-parts (minus the ease of using that detector)! "See Firebolt, I told you there'd be nothing to worry about!"
If the small groups are agreed upon, Wedge begins to head towards searching again.

Nodding slowly, Firebolt casts a gaze back the zoo. If there was a bomb, shouldn't all their activity in there shaken it up and possibly detonated it? She thinks about that for a long moment, half listening to Wedge as he talks. She looks over at the tiny Airazor and shrinks away from her, finding that even though she was tiny, those optics she had were like a hot knife on butter!
"M'glad I'm not paired up with her," Firebolt whispers to First Aid as she peeks out from behind him, over at the zoo again. She tilts her head upon hearing what he says about 'like' as she moves and points towards the zoo. "We can go... If ya want, that is. The faster we get movin, the faster ... Well... I don't know..."

Airazor nods. "Sounds good to me."
She flies after Wedge, zooming her sight in towards the ground and the structures around them, searching for potential disturbances. So far she's not picking up anything that would suggest someone had disturbed the area, other than the scratchings of fauna. "Finding anything interesting, yet?"

“She’s very kind,” First Aid tells Firebolt softly. “Are you not used to fliers? You’ll get used to them. They’re good people.” Is this a slightly personally sore subject? Well, maaaaaaaybe. Comes of being the gestaltmate of a huey. He’s good at not letting that show, though. “Please be good to her – she’s just as lost as we are.”
Autobots do have tendencies to be phobic about fliers, he’s noticed it before. It makes sense – when you’re a primarily ground based force, and your enemies can all fly, people who come from above start to take on a threatening significance. But it’s unfair. He’s always thought so.
He nods briskly. “The quicker we get going, the quicker we’re done, yes!” And off he goes, trusting that she’ll keep up, his hands laced together behind his back, looking for anything that appears disturbed in ways out of place with the general decay.

"Nah, nothing at all, except for the displays," Wedge glances up from a rather peaceful looking prairie diorama, frowning at the large metallic lump in the corner. "Wonder if he got scared off by Omega there?" Goodness knows that the place is creepy enough to keep him away. Add in the imposing factor of Omega Supreme and that con would probably have never set foot on this place by himself!
But, as Hightower always told him. Better to be safe than sorry.
"You get anything interesting?"
OOC: And if we want to wind the thread down, we can stop after this round if everyone's alright with it.

"M'scared of everybody," She whispers before trotting after him. "You're a doctor guy, right? By your name.. I... I guess. Can you fix me so I'm not scared of everybody? Or at least... Don't go cos you're not scary at all..." She says while heading over to an exhibit and then kicking aside stuff.
"I got a rock."
She holds one up, staring at it. It's bitten all over and scratched, and she tilts her head to the side.
"Doncha think the bomb would have gone off with all the disturbances that have been here lately? Maybe I can make a big one. My subwoofers are... Are pretty good..." She muses. Music... Music is good. But then music.... Music attracts people. "Nah. I won't do that. Nuffin's here I think."
Okies, fine with me yus.

"Just traces of the resident fauna. Nothing intelligently made." Airazor climbs up a bit to go check out the displays Wedge had mentioned.

“You’re right, I’m a doctor,” First Aid says to Firebolt, still intently checking for overturned plates, things in patterns of disarray that don’t match, and still coming up nothing, “And I get the feeling I’m going to be staying. I am technically capable of modifying your programming – but it’s not a good idea. It tends to have… side effects. Don’t worry. We’re people, so we learn and change, and we learn to be afraid for very good reasons. When those reasons are gone, it can be hard to unlearn the fear, but it’ll happen, and you can always come and find me if you need a rest from it. It's good just to talk.”
He leans over to look at the rock. “Now there’s a rock that looks like it’s seen hard times.”
He shrugs. “Probably not – most bombs aren’t that unstable. You need to be able to put them where you want them to be. But,” he turns around slowly, one last time, “I think you’re right. We seem to be clear.”
OOC: Good with me, too!
