Kup grins wide, the relief and joy that he's finally gotten through to Wheelie evident in his expression and, if allowed to, he'll hug the smaller robot tightly (though not so tight as to cause damage!) before moving back to his own seat.
His smile fades slightly at Holi's question. "The Quinetessons... they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but the most identifiable of them have got five faces, are kind of tear-dropped shaped, and have tentacles. In my reality, at least, they're actually the creators of our species... but they built us to be bought and sold as products, and nothing more. They never realized they had created real, thinking, feeling creatures... never realized, or worse, just didn't care. Eventually, we expelled them from our planet, but lately they've been meddling again. Trying to get us, or at least just Cybertron, back."
"Their meddling has caused... a lot of problems. A lot of deaths. Wheelie's right when he says they're 'very bad,' but 'very bad' barely begins to describe them."
Kup falls into silent consideration for a moment, but then brightens. "But anyway. Part of the purpose here is for me to be asking you two questions! With so many new faces around, we really don't have an idea what skills and abilities we got available. I aim to fix that.
"So, both of you, I want to know about your combat experience." He gestures to Wheelie. "I'm pretty familiar with your capabilities, but I still want to hear them in your words." Apparently Kup likes poetry. "I also want to hear about your other skills, talents, and abilities, especially things you think might be useful out here."

Wheelie will allow the hug!
When asked about his abilities, he considers it for a moment, trying to assemble the right words (and making certain than nothing in his speech ends in 'orange', because nothing rhymes with orange.)
"Wheelie's lived far back as he can think, on Quintesson planet, with sharkticon stink. But survive he did, he did not die, he lived to spit in all their eye. He searched high and low, wherever he could go, for whatever he needed to live, always taking, for the bad guys would never give. He fixed himself when he was hurt, wincing when his oil would spurt. With sling and knife he sometimes fought, always to escape, he was never caught."
He continues, "Out on his own or not so alone, Wheelie can live in the harshest of spots, never even showing the smallest rust dots. He'll find energy, Wheelie finds stuff, he can live on a little, a small batch is enough. He'll scout all around, for Decepticon clowns, and so small, hard to see, he can walk right past their knee. Don't like to fight, but will when it's right. Fast, you know, when in car from I go! Show me, I learn, my brain doesn't burn!"

For now, Grimlock remains silent, though he did look irritated at the mention of Quintessons. It makes Grimlock want it to be smashy time on them, but thankfully, the subject changes.

As Holi listens to Kup's more elaborate description of the Quintessons, he looks increasingly bothered. He doesn't remember reading anything like this in the history files. (He probably could have read further back than he had, but he didn't.) Is it something that's part of Wheelie's and Kup's – and Grimlock's – reality, but not his own?
Shameful as the thought is, Holi rather hopes there aren't any Quintessons back home. He thinks Deszaras and his troops are bad enough… and he isn't in Sector Two dealing with Overlord, either.
…Wait, is it his turn?
"I… I'm the captain of the Rescue Patrol," he starts, sitting up straighter. "Under Supreme Commander Star Saber's command in Sector One. We specialise in search and rescue operations in the field – I usually direct my teammates when we're sent out." Which doesn't seem to happen very often; usually, the Brainmasters or the Multiforce can handle whatever problems arise. "That's because I'm the best at communications," he adds. "I can keep my team coordinated over the radio even over long distances." His left hand briefly drifts to the exterior communications unit mounted in his right forearm. "We can operate in combat situations, and sometimes we have to, but… we really aren't supposed to engage…. I just have a pistol." Kup has seen the pistol, though possibly not since Holi first drew it on the callizard way back when he first woke up.
This is the less impressive part of his resumé.
"When we aren't deployed, it's my responsibility to keep watch over Jan. He's my friend – a human. Supreme Commander Star Saber adopted him after Deszaras' soldiers killed his parents." And Holi is incredibly sorry it happened. "So I had to learn a lot about the human cultures to keep up… and a few things I didn't have to learn. I built his anti-grav pod for him, too." How much of that is exceptionally useful here, he isn't sure.

"Communications?" Kup asks, then nods. "That's good to know, then. I'll have to make a note of that." And he does just that, although no one there is likely to recognize the symbol he marks down on his metal 'notepad.'
"Now, I know you say you weren't s'posed to engage, but I'm still going to want everyone to show up when we start on training sessions. At the very least, you can learn as much as possible about how to protect yourself if you do find yourself in the thick of things." And maybe a bit more about how to keep his head in a hostage situation! He looks at Wheelie. "You, too. I know you're a fair hand at defending yourself, but you haven't really worked with people for awhile, so it'll be good for you to get used to that again."
Kup frowns, rubs his chin, and considers something else. "Oh, yeah! Wheelie, you spent some time with the 'Cons, before you figured things out. Can you describe to me everyone they had with them that you remembered?"

"Wheelie will work with anyone, the team supreme we're having fun!" Wheelie agrees, before answering Kup's question.
"Starscream who flies and easily lies. A shark with a drill, he was surely no thrill; too ready to fight, this Predacon Sky-Byte.! A crane with a brain, his smarts were his arts, just take a look, they called him Hook. There was a fast copter in pink, with guns that would think and some guy that he knows, Spinister and Needlenose. A big guy of carnage named Wreckage and a boat for the ground, aka Shortround. A big old tank and some jets, who's names I don't know yet. It's all that I know, could all that you follow?"

Holi can do training sessions. He's all too aware that he lacks grievously in combat ability and he's willing to do whatever it takes to get better. He can't keep running scared and bringing trouble to the other Autobots.
"Yes, sir!" he says firmly, an eager smile on his face. "I'll do my best!"

"All right, then," Kup pronounces, tone light and attitude notably brightened from the beginning of the interview. "In that case, then, I guess we're about wrapped up. Do either of you have any more questions for me? If not, you're free to go."
Then he smiles down at Wheelie. "And thanks for giving me a listen, Wheelie."

Wheelie offers a smile in return. "Wheelie says you had a stroke of luck, Kup," he replies.
"Question's I've not; picture I've got!"

Grimlock chimes in, leaning down and nosing at Holi. "You Holi, Wheelie's friend? Me Grimlock, Wheelie's friend too - So me Grimlock say Holi Grimlock's friend too!"
The fact that Holi respects Kup works in his favor, too! And..,yeah, late way to introduce himself, but Kup was talking earlier!

Holi is about to answer Kup – he isn't really sure if he has any more questions right now, but knowing him, he'll have a few later when he isn't thinking about it – but there's a Grimlock nudging him with his nose.
"Um," squeaks the Micromaster with his usual mastery of articulation. He certainly calls Wheelie his friend and Wheelie has been wonderful enough to return the favour so far! "Thank you, Grimlock, sir!" He's a rather big and boisterous friend to have.

Kup takes a few final notations, stands up, and nods at everyone. "Well, since it sounds like that's about it, it's time I was going. It was nice talking to all of you." Then he virtually beams down at Wheelie. "And Wheelie, lad, nice to meet you, again."
He tucks his sheet of metal into subspace, gives everyone a quick wave, says, "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got other work to be taking care of." Then he turns and heads off, a slight spring in his step.
OOC: Out of thread.

Grimlock thinks a bit, and since he's already stooped down, he noses forward, effectively shoveling the two small robots onto his head. He then raises up slightly letting them slide a bit onto his neck. "Me Grimlock say hang on! We go on big adventure!"
The Dinobot commander heads off in a random direction, in search of the unknown! ---------- OOC: Scooping of Wheelie and Holi done with their players. If they got no objections to being carried off, Grimlock's out of the thread with them in tow, probably off to a new thread to the plaza where stuff was being gathered before Cannonball made his exit.
