If I had a hammer...
There's no ifs about that , really, but Hook isn't quite in the mood to destroy his own delicate work in a fit of pique.
"Be ready to work in the morning," Hook reminds Hellbender, before turning sharply and leaving the area.

Hellbender lifted his head toward the sky and howled, a nightmarish, wordless cry of rage, grief, and despair. For Hellbender there can be no serenity--the sky has been taken from him. So has the ground, for he cannot walk among his fellows; so have his fellows, for what fellowship is there between Transformer and mere robotic equipment?
The great metallic worm thrashed as Hellbender fumbled about with his controls; finally, he got the hang of it and moved, not inching like a worm, but in serpentine turns. Alien protocols became familiar, and Hellbender started to understand the messages from his mining systems. Hellbender slithered out of the crater and slammed the spinning cutting heads into the nearest building.
The boring heads, designed to chew through rock, tore apart the ceramo-crete wall like it was so much dried toothpaste; Hellbender crashed into the building and thrashed deliberately, bringing down support columns and internal walls until the roof caved in. Tons of debris rained down on him, shrugged off by the massive armor and reinforced cylindrical structure of the robotic worm.
He slithered out of the debris and swung his head into another building, bringing it down in its turn, and again, and again, five more times. Still it was not enough. Though obscured by billowing clouds of dust, the blind, distant sky mocked him.
Hellbender thrust his borers into the rubble-choked street and dove into the ground, away from the mocking sky. Down into the dark, into the earth and rock, where he could see and get away from all that he'd lost...
---- OOC: Hellbender knocked down about a city-block in his temper fit, and raised the kind of noise, dust and mess that you'd expect from the sudden demolition of a city block. He's left behind a big tunnel into the ground, but that will be choked with dirt after about one Hellbender-length.

Not too long after the dust has settled, a blue, somewhat damaged car rolls into the area. It transforms into the form of Counterpunch, and the spy examines the environs. Hnh! Someone's got a temper to put his own to shame! He strolls the area casually, but curiously, poking at the damage here, investigating what sort of building had been destroyed there... finally he crouches in the area of freshly upturned earth where Hellbender dives under ground. He reaches his hand into the dirt and lets it run out through his fingers, then looks around once more at the damage.
One thing's become certain to him: if this is the doing of some new recruit, he needs to find a way to get word to the Autobots, and quickly. But is it worth it to risk himself until he has more information?
He'll see. There's still a mines system out there that wants investigation.
Counterpunch straightens, turns away, transforms, and drives off.
