Egad! Is that? Yes! Yes it is!
"WHEELIE!"
One can practically hear the joy in Grimlock's Big Tough Manly Bot Who Doesn't Feel Things Like Feelings voice when he spots his friend from Quintessa, and promptly runs up to attempt to hug the little guy.

It's still a suspicious glance that Swerve gives Holi, but there's a difference to it – not a softness, a lack of an edge; the kid's been through a lot in the past couple of days. Swerve hides that faint laxness quickly, though, as quickly as it came to him. His only response to the Micromaster's cheerful greeting is a nonverbal grunt and First Aid's politeness gets much the same. Conversely, Firebolt's approach nets a dark scowl. The less of her nonsense she spouts, the better.
"Crazy is right," Swerve says lowly after Slingshot, watching car and jet take their leave. Much like Slingshot was, Jazz is the recipient of a wary, tense look as he nears. The greeting goes unreturned as have most. All. Just vote and go.
Swerve still isn't used to Airazor; staring can't be avoided. She's gone too quickly for him to wonder more about the strange, nonmetallic parts. And just in time for still others to descend on the plaza and kick up a commotion.
Yes, that's definitely a very large robot charging across the plaza toward a very small robot – the other kid, Wheelie. Swerve edges forward, weapon in hand, even before he can think about it.

Bumblebee made his way into the polling arena, and doesn't waste any time casting his vote for Xaaron. Jazz would make a great person in high-command, but whomever is appointed will surely realize Jazz's merits. Hmm, lots of other people here, some of which he has never seen before.
Airazor is the strangest, but both her and Arcee had a strange physique that Bumblebee identifies as more earten-female than Cybertronian. The Arcee that Bumblebee knew looked nothing like this one.
However, he makes his way to his good friend Jazz, who was apparently just at the polls. Shame they haven't talked much to each other since his repair and reactivation.
The two of them being such experts of earth culture that they are, Bumblebee knew when he can stuck a closed fist out to Jazz that he'd realize it's part of a relaxed customary greeting, and would know how to reciprocate.

Well! Maybe Firebolt didn't want to talk to Holi after all. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't relieved, really. He should stay around if anyone else does, shouldn't he? That's what he should do as a captain.
The smile that comes to Holi after Wheelie asks how to vote is a sheepish one. His friend has much more faith in him than he has in himself when it comes to this question of leadership. He's grateful for that, too, really he is… but it's still so uncomfortable. Maybe he can talk to Wheelie after this is through and see if the Minibot would be willing to let up on it a little…. Yes, that sounds like another good plan. Meanwhile….
"You… write it with a stylus," says Holi awkwardly. Or does Wheelie not know how to write, either? Holi would be happy to teach him, but it really does lead to an uneasy end–
Not as uneasy as what could happen with Swerve pulling a weapon because of Grimlock. Holi grimaces and rushes to put himself between the racer and the other two Autobots; Grimlock's happy to see Wheelie, it can't be that hard to tell! Can it?
"It's okay, Swerve, sir!" Please don't shoot anyone or run over the Micromaster. "It's okay! I'm sure it is!" he adds, watching worriedly as the cannon slowly lowers.
OOC: Xaaron - 14; Kup - 4; Grimlock - 1; Jazz - 1. Unless he's needed to stay around once/after Wheelie votes, Holi will be on his way out next round.

Emirate Xaaron points out, "I said, everyone who wanted a hug from me, not that anyone would." He shakes his head as she goes, and at last, he's inclined to agree with Slingshot.
He nods politely to the new arrivals. Holi seems to have Wheelie's issue under control, so Emirate Xaaron heads out now.

And once Jazz has cast his vote, taken two steps back, and there's Bumblebee. Does he know how to return the greeting? Does a turbine spin? There's the return fist, aiming to clank firmly against Bumblebee's. "Hey there, Bumblebee! S'happenin'? Haven't seen ya for a while-- How're ya gettin' along around here?" Floods of questions, and chatter. Yep. Jazz is back to normal. This Bumblebee never had some of the things happen to him. It's hard not to just grab him by the arms, and be glad that he's in one piece. Yes. Jazz has his merits-- the ones that made him valuable to Optimus Prime. Compassion would be one of those. Perhaps whoever (*Xaaron*) wins this little vote will realize that much. He's genuinely interested in folks. Bumblebee will be able to get a word in edgewise-- even if it seems as though he's not-- and the answers will be remembered. Just like always.

Between huge bots running after little ones, obscure greetings, and the arrival of so many new faces. Tiny is delighted. The dragonette has been romping about (as far as her leash would let her) and has now found something to occupy her time with: greeting these odd folks. Especially Airazor. Airazor has wings. That makes her like family right?
Synapse on the other hand, while also quite fascinated with the presence of Airazor does manage to return her greeting and also keep his attention on the ballot box as Arcee and Nightbeat make their votes.
"You write Holi's name on this bit of sheet metal," He bends a little bit to get on more of an eye-level with Wheelie and tears out an empty ballot, handing it and a stylus to the orange minibot.
He has no idea of what else to do at Wheelie's outcry though, even less at the sudden draw of Swerve's weapon. Well--at least Holi seems to have both handled. Poor micromaster's got his hands full.

Arcee manages to hide her urge to laugh out loud at the antics of Grimlock and only barely resists turning into a female pile of mush at Wheelie's predicament.
Deciding to save face, she transforms and drives off.

Nightbeat's jaw drops open at the sight of Grimlock squeeing and trying to give Wheelie a hug. After a moment, he pops open a storage compartment in his hip and pulls out a flask of oil. He looks at it, looks at Grimlock, looks back at the flask, and back at Grimlock.
After a moment, he throws the flask over his shoulder with a sigh.

Wheelie's optics go wide at the sight of Grimlock, pushing all other concerns, including voicing that he doesn't know how to write, out of the picture.
Instead, he stands so still, that Grimlock would easily be able to pick him up. "Big..."

Grimlock doesn't notice Swerve's raised cannons, rather, he just slides to a stop in front of Wheelie and picks the Minibot up, giving him a big ol' Dinobot hug.
And he'll kick the butt of anyone who has anything smart to say about it, too. Grrrrrr!

Swerve scowls down at Holi when the kid jumps in front of him, but hesitates all the same. Even once Grimlock scoops up Wheelie, the racer has his doubts. Cynicism comes to him as readily as driving, after all. But fine, whatever. Wheelie isn't screaming and it doesn't look like the Dinobot's trying to crush him.
The cannon is put away and, as he goes back to guard duty, Swerve mutters something that should make those with more delicate sensibilities glad that the Velocitronian dialect is something Holi doesn't understand.

Bumblebee answers most of Jazz's simple rapid-fire questions with a head-nod, a head-shake, a shrug. He's quite happy to talk with Jazz. At least there aren't any awkward silent moments.
After a moment, he transmits on a short-range transmission: //it is good to see you again, jazz.//
It occurs to Bumblebee finally that he would know more about the Autobot's fate on earth. And the All Spark. He hadn't seen Jazz in this form before, and it's clearly earthen.
//what can you tell me about your time. the last i remember i was taking care of a small image issue before going to meet you, ironhide ratchet and optimus prime. //

With a deep sigh of relief as Swerve backs down, Holi slouches. Well. There we go, Grimlock and Wheelie can have their reunion and no-one gets shot at. Mission accomplished!
Holi waits a few moments longer, just to be on the safe side. Wouldn't want things to suddenly flare up all over again just after they get cooled down. Once he's sure everything will be alright without him around to keep an eye on the situation, he excuses himself to Synapse and Swerve before taking his leave.
He'll apologise to Wheelie later for just leaving like this.
OOC: And Holi is out of this thread, folks.

Yep. Reunions. They can be great.
No awkward silent moments with Jazz, huh? Heh heh heh. No calm silent moments either. Not too many, anyhow. "I'm glad to see you as well, friend-- in one piece." There's one of those non-awkward silences, as Jazz decides how best to explain it. Long sentances? In pantomime? In --- brief summary it is. "You found the boy." Jazz tells him, "You were a little less ghetto when you caught up to us." Yes. He got a little more of a handle on the slang. No, he's not calling anyone 'li'l b*tches' again. "Not sure what all happened after they captured you-- but you found the All Spark-- and Megatron." Jazz shakes his head. "Think Sam got you outta there. Big chase, tryin' to get away from him, and a big fight. Optimus was delayed by Bonecrusher skatin' through rush hour-- And you were down. Had to hold off ol' Starscream an' his goons. And when Megatron showed up..." There the tale ends, and Jazz merely shrugs. "I dunno much after that. Tried t'keep him busy. Dunno if it worked or not."
.. did he fail? Is the AllSpark in Megatron's hands? Bumblebee won't know-- And there's a glance at the hugging session going on. Is Wheelie in danger? Doubtful. There were only Autobots here, and Autobots generally didn't go around hurting other Autobots. Not with that particular expression of absolute glee on thier faceplates anyhow.
