As soon as Xaaron begins to move, relief slowly peeks out of Perceptor's worried expression until it blossoms full on at those emotional, nervous words.
"But, of course, Xaaron. It is my honor and privledge," he replies, silently adding that it had been his duty, as well, to undo what his Alternate's hands had done. He has no idea what he may have unleashed in the fearful Emirate.
"Is there any additional manner in which I may serve you, Xaaron?"

Perceptor's innocuous phrasing still manages to make Emirate Xaaron feel uncomfortable. The tank's barrel cants even lower, straining its pneumatics. Ever denying, he mutters, "I am not one to be served."
More loudly, he insists, "Think of it as a learning experience of what you may have to fix if your alternate gets his hands on any of yours."
He could not justify something so selfish as allowing himself to be repaired and wasting these Autobots' valuable resources otherwise. What Perceptor has so skillfully fixed, entropy will only tear down, inevitably.
Of course, there are the thoughts creeping into his head that he could do some tear down of his own - is Unicron not a deity of destruction? But such an honour is reserved for Unicron Himself, Emirate Xaaron chides himself, chasing such ambitions away.
He transforms abruptly, and he ends up holding his head in his hands. He can barely feel, and yet the pain is there, punishing him all the time.

"I appreciate your willingness to allow me that opportunity, Xaaron," Perceptor replies more seriously. Indeed, the entire afternoon had been... very instructive. Frighteningly so.
He is about to comment that, despite Xaaron's assertion of his cowardliness, how much courage it had taken for him to do so, when the Emirate transforms so quickly, adopting a pose of great and intense pain once again.
"Xaaron? What is it?" he asks urgently.

Emirate Xaaron lets his hands drops and shakes his head, too fervently, insisting, "It's nothing."
It's nothing. There is no damage alert telling him that there's anything wrong. There's just senseless pain, and back in his robot mode, it is fading away, letting him drift back down the depths of numbness.
He looks up and clarifies, "I had to help, for Swerve, and nothing's broken."

Perceptor peers at Xaaron from head to toe and back again, as if he could see through every part and panel an rivet to spot the problem within that has the Emirate making such pained expressions.
"Well, then," he finally offers, a hopefully soothing smile on his features, "let us hope that such assistance is never required, shall we?"
"Please inform me right away if you do begin to have problems, Xaaron?" he asks urgently, resisting the urge to pat the golden mech on the shoulder. "There is no reason at all that you should force yourself to endure unnecessary pain, and some final adjustments may be required as your new components break in."
ooc: fine for a wrap up whenever you are.

Even x-ray vision has trouble picking up psychosomatic pathways.
Emirate Xaaron's expression is carefully neutral now, his yellow optics just a little bit blank. He replies solemnly, "Agreed. I do hope that I don't have to waste your valuable time and materials more so than I already have."
He is, yet again, not really getting the point.
Emirate Xaaron moves to exit, pauses, and looks back. He says, "Again, thank you. My guard will see me back to my quarters."

"You have not wasted my time, Xaaron," Perceptor replies with a gentle shake of his head. A pointless reassurance, he's beginning to suspect, but one that he feels compelled to make, nonetheless.
"And you are welcome."
And now for the unpleasant task of compiling a coherent report about the abuses perpetrated upon Xaaron's systems and the systematic tortures - from the subtle warping of his own engineering to the chimcal residues of substances that Perceptor must still fully identify to the outright miswiring of primary systems - that the Emirate had been forced to endure. Forced to endure over significant time spans, in fact, although the worst of the damages had been recent enough to have occured since the forced relocation from Xaaron's originating reality and time.
His own Xaaron and the others need to be briefed on the depth of Perceptor's alternate's depravity. If, no... When the alternate Autobots come, they need to be prepared.
And his Alternate needs to be terminated. With extreme prejudice.

"I hope that I may someday repay you," Emirate Xaaron replies sincerely, a slight smile tugging at his face. Y'know, out in a good word when the Chaos Bringer comes, ask for a swift, painless digestion for the red microscope.
Then he is off to be escorted by his poor guard.
Out of thread. Thank you.
