Thundercracker relaxes just slightly, but enough for his wings to untense visibly. Perhaps not all the Decepticons here are like the Autobots after all...
"I don't know," he answers. "Skyfire... he might not like it that I'm talking to you... he might think I'm getting ideas about running away..." He looks down and scuffs at the dirt with his foot. "And I don't know why you'd want to talk to me... I don't know anything important..."

"I definitely agree," said Dead End, picking up what he thinks is a cue from Scourge. "I believe our orders regarding this alliance allow some fraternization between the forces, do they not? We are merely... curious."
"One never knows what is... important." Dead End's violet gaze shifted to Scourge.

Scourge nods to Dead End and elabourates to Thundercracker, "Why does this have to be about information and whether or not it is important? Couldn't we simply want to get to know you and see if we like what we see? Would Skyfire begrudge you making new friends? After all," he yanks his thumb back at his own chest, "he can't always be there to protect you. and I'm sure he'd be upset if he returned to find you damaged because no one cared to assist you."

"Skyfire... I don't know what he'd think of me befriending anyone, let alone Decepticons," Thundercracker confesses. "And he's my Master... it would go badly if I angered him... he doesn't like it when I misbehave."

"Have you been ordered not to talk with us? If not, you can hardly be misbehaving if you do what you have not been forbidden to do," Dead End pointed out, all reasonableness.
Poor bastard. Submissive and afraid, when nothing he said or did could stave off the inevitable. What was the point in being afraid of everything when it was so futile? Cessation and corrosion would come whether he feared or not.
// 'Master'? How curious, // he observed to Scourge privately.

"Your Master? What do you mean by that?" Scourge inquires, not too pressing, still friendly. "And wouldn't it go well if you made new allies for your Master? There may be an overall alliance, but when the cards are down..." Scourge shrugs.
His tone on the radio to Dead End is darker, //Indeed.//

Further into the trees that Thundercracker had been using as cover, a single, large round optic pokes its way out of the foliage, quietly whirring as it zooms in and out. It begins to turn left and right, taking in the scene of the three Decepticons from a short distance away.
He's been looking for Scourge. He wanted to discuss some things about the offensive they are meant to go on shortly and he'd like to bounce some ideas off his commander. He could just have contacted him over the broadband, but figured he might as well track his commander down. It'd at least give him something to do.
Rising from out between the trees like a silent, majestic Eye-Fire, he began to quietly float towards the three from behind Thundercracker. He waved to Dead End and Scourge, they could choose whether or not to spare Thundercracker some more fear or not.

"Not exactly," he says in reply to Dead End. "I was just told to keep out of sight. He... never gave orders for what I should do if one of them found me anyhow..."
At Scourge's inquiry he hesitates. Skyfire has never instructed him to keep quiet about his status as a pet -- not that it wasn't already common knowledge among the Autobots, of course...
"I... I belong to him," he confesses. "To Skyfire. He is my Master. I live to serve him."
He doesn't notice Eye-Fire at all -- ninja sniper is being ninja, after all...

"Sky..fire?" Dead End is politely incredulous. "And why would you be Skyfire's servant? Did you choose him, or did he choose you? Were you a Neutral, or did you turn traitor from the Decepticons?"

"We are observant people. You can't be faulted for not staying out of sight," Scourge observes, pacing slightly. Then, of course, he sights Eye-Fire. He does not stop pacing. That would be a tell. Instead, he inquires over the radio, //If you are still acting insane, please do not spook the Seeker. He is one of theirs, and we are trying to make him a bit more tractable.//
"Strictly speaking, you live because your lasercore hasn't been extinguished," Scourge plays attention to terminology. "Programming can be overcome - I was meant to be an Autobot, but look at me." Scourge flexes a hand into a fist and raps it against one of the Decepticon symbols on his shoulders. "I had a change of... spirit. If you serve Skyfire, it is in some way your choice."

Eye-Fire pauses mid hover. Scourges question has thrown him off slightly.
//I'll land a bit further away from him than I had planned then.//
He alters his course slightly, and comes in to land, quietly, mind you, a bit away from Thundercracker. He was planning on landing right behind him....
His hands folded behind his back, he simply stands there and waits for Thundercracker to notice him.

Dead End's implied accusation that he turned traitor to the Decepticons brings to life the briefest flare of anger. "Neither," he says firmly. "I was captured. Captured and... reprogrammed." He doesn't go on, having no desire to explain that he's essentially Skyfire's pet.
To Scourge he replies "You make it sound so easy... but I can't fight it. I... I have to obey him. Perceptor is... thorough... in his tasks."
And then he spots Eye-Fire out of the corner of his optic, and he gives the sniper a questioning look. He has no idea what to expect -- this mirror universe has turned everything upside-down for him, and he has no idea what to count on anymore.

// Interesting, // Dead End notes to Scourge. // So now I can anticipate this Perceptor getting his manipulators on some of our people and reprogramming them into sleeper agents, ready to kill us when least expected. //
"How peculiar," is the only thing Dead End said. He glanced at Scourge for his cues; Dead End is not exactly a leader.

//Or we could just avoid Perceptor,// Scourge points out to Dead End.
Remember men, full power.
Is Scourge a babysitter or a division leader? He's really not sure.
Scourge has some interesting information out of Thundercracker, so he presses, a little more firmly, "Your Decepticons never tried to rescue you? Is your servitude so terrible or are there not advantages to it?"
Since Dead End seems to need a little guidance, he adds, //Just keep him talking. This is all very interesting.//

OOC: Skipping Eye-Fire due to timeout.
--
Thundercracker finds himself torn between instinct and programming. That insidious part of him that claims loyalty to Skyfire screams at him to stop talking and flee... and that small fragment of himself that still cringes at the explorer's touch, that still resents being a captive, insists that he can trust a fellow Decepticon. He struggles betweeen silence and speech for a moment, his hesitation showing on his face.
"Terrible? Why wouldn't it be?" he demands. "To be treated like less than a servant drone, less than even a prisoner -- but like an animal, a pet... patted on the head like a turbohound, slinking in his shadow..."
He clamps off his vocalizer and glances around, suddenly fearful that someone might be listening, that perhaps Synapse is eavesdropping, or even Skyfire himself.
