Fleetwind stands back up, crosses his arms, cocks his head, and examines both Midnight and Springer with a faint smirk playing at the right corner of his lips.
"Obviously, withdrawing to give someone else a chance to play wasn't the ideal choice, after all." He drops his arms and looks back and forth between the both of them. "If the two of you can't play nice when playing against each other, maybe you should learn to play nice playing with each other. I'll take on the both of you." He smiles at Midnight. "Although I do play tag."

Midnight scowled at Springer at first, then found himself nodding as he listened to what the big green Wrecker had to say.
"Well, you shore don't sound like the Springer Ah knew," he conceded. "And you ain't got thet mean look in your optics like him, neither. Makes me want to return the favor o' ripping his head off a lot less, 'cause you just ain't quite him. Not quite. You still look like him, though."
Midnight turned his head sharply towards Fleetwind, optics widening slightly in surprise. "Seriously? Might be interestin'." He glanced over at Springer.
"Thing is," Midnight told Springer, "he knows Ah can't dodge his dancin' worth a slag. On the other hand, if this were a real fight, his tags wouldn't much hurt me, either. If you're anythin' like the Wrecker Ah knew physically, you're a bruiser like me, and a quick-changer, too. Gotta be some tactics the two of us can use our advantages 'gainst Fleet here." Midnight smirked and clacked his knuckles against each other.

Springer relaxes when Midnight calms down, letting out a bit of a relieved sigh. Good.
"Aw, I look like him? I was hoping I'd be at least a little better-looking. Ah well. Can't win 'em all, I guess..." He shrugs, then looks at Fleetwind with crossed arms. "I'm not really picky about it - Could be me and him versus you, me and you versus him, or me versus the both of you. The odds make no difference to me."

"Well, my concern is in coming up with an arrangement that leads to all of our limbs intact," Fleet answers Springer cheerfully. "Resources for replacement are limited, and we just got Hook back - I'd just as soon avoid drawing his ire quite this early, you know?"
He looks back and forth between Midnight and Springer. "If you good sirs can keep yourselves under control, I'll be glad to bow out. If you cannot, however, I'm more than happy to take on the both of you. I'm sure we can come up with some way to modify the rules... say, that I need to tag Springer ten times, and if so, you both lose?" He gestures to Midnight. "My tags in battle may not do you much damage, but if you're letting companions get taken down, you're heading towards a loss, anyway. So against you, I could tag you as many times as I want - it makes no difference. You'd want to keep me from tagging Springer, while your own hits against me count just as much as Springer's."

The ghost of a smile turns up one corner of Midnight's mouth for an instant. "Ayep. Well, you ain't got that mean look, so that's a bit better lookin' right there."
Midnight tilts his head slightly and tells Springer. "Ah like Fleetwind's idea. Trains me to watch out for you rather than hopin' you take one in the head. Sorry if that offends you, but Ah have to work at this alliance thing; it ain't no easy 'lie back and enjoy on it on automatic' deal for me. This kinda training 'll help make it work. Seriously."

Springer smirks a bit at Midnight. "Alright, then. Ten hits for us on Fleetwind, or he's gotta get ten on me." Springer pulls out a small blaster from his subspace weapon storage, stepping up on the Arena platform, standing a fair distance from the pastel Seeker.
"Ready when you guys are. Hopefully, I'll prove to be a slippery target..."

"Hopefully, I'll be a challenge at all!" Fleetwind answers, but his tone is light and cheerful and backed by confidence that his words seem to deny.
And then he starts moving, feet barely touching the ground as he darts directly for Springer. However, before he gets too close, he suddenly leaps into the air, pulling his knees to his chest. He flies over the Autobot's head, lands behind him, and twists around, and reaches out, fingers extended, trying to claim first touch...

Oh, slag! Springer is between him and Fleet, which is going to make this hard to block. Midnight grasps the situation as he moves--he's clumsy, not stupid.
One way to do this--hopefully Springer figures out what to do without Midnight telegraphing it to the enemy. Guns powered to minimum--this is an exercise, and Fleet is too slagging fragile--Midnight lunges towards Springer and Fleetwind behind him.
Hopefully Springer will have the wit to duck, dodge, jump, or end up Midnight's impromptu ram for clobbering Fleetwind before Fleet can 'get' the Autobot.

Of course Springer is witty enough to know to move his aft. One does not lead the top Autobot combat unit by letting yourself get hit in situations like this.
And dang, if Fleet isn't a fast little glitch... Fancy maneuvers, too. Springer does duck...then he jumps up into the air, using his signature springing ability to get some air, peppering where Fleet will be with low-level laser fire.

Fleetwind jerks his hand back and is able to twist-twirl out of the way of Midnight's charge in time, much like a particularly flashy bull-fighter dodging away from a bull. However, Springer is peppering him with laser fire next, and although he does manage to flip back, he takes two shots on his wings.

On the last flip, Fleet comes up with his arm extended towards Springer, and he fires several times, power on low, in return.

Midnight grins savagely; Springer is sharp! Uh-oh, Fleet's still going for it--
Midnight ignites his boot-thrusters, pushing himself into the air and half-unfolds his wings, presenting a larger target area--hopefully between Fleetwind and Springer. Even as he does so, his arm-guns swing forward and he fires several shots at the yellow Seeker...

Huh. Midnight's already going to take the bullet for him? Maybe him taking part in the alliance isn't as hard for him as the black Seeker suggested. Hopefully, Midnight can serve as a good distraction.
However, a shot grazes Springer as he reaches the crest of his jump. A grumble leaves him as he shifts into chopper mode. He pulls back away from the arena platform a bit, then takes a strafing path, firing more low-powered shots in Fleet's general direction once he's sure Midnight is clear.

Fleetwind, as fleet as he is, is unable to avoid each and every shot from Midnight, and one in particular leaves an ugly black score down the back of his right wing despite the low power settings. It can possibly be taken as an indicator of just how fragile the bold little Seeker really is.
By the time Springer is upon him, however, he's leapt into the air, thus allowing him to avoid all but two of the Autobot's blasts. Still, if the Autobot is attempting to strafe him, that means the Autobot is out from behind Midnight's protection. Fleet charges directly at Springer, twisting in the air at the last moment so that he's coming at the helicopter feet first, aimed right for the vehicle's nose. Should his strike hit, he will spring (ha ha) off it and start flying in the opposite direction, turning again in his flight to fire back at Springer. If he misses, he'll try to slip underneath the vehicle too close to be hit by its own weaponry and try to make his 'tag' on the underside.

Midnight takes multiple hits from Fleetwind's gun on his heavy armor without noticeable effect--but then Fleetwind soars past just above his head.
"Slaggittall!" he snaps in frustration; Springer must have climbed out of his protection. On the other hand, the thunder of Springer's fire explained why--he had to, to do anything useful.
Midnight flew up on his thrusters, pulling his wings back in and twisting as he flew so he could see Fleetwind and Springer both. Once again, he flung himself at Fleetwind, arms spread wide to tackle and grapple...

Alas, Springer is not so maneuverable in chopper mode. He takes the boots-to-the-nose, causing him to dip forward. Springer transforms in time to avoid the shots, dropping down.
The name of the game is evasion, so Springer transforms again, this time to his car mode, tearing off away from the main area. seeing if Fleetwind will follow. If all goes as planned, he'll bait the seeker out, then drag him right back to Midnight...
