Springer nods, and with a hop, skip, and a really high jump, and then another, and he lands where directed...
No obvious sensor in the area... Springer gives a quick look around, and does find one easily-accessible body. A black, white and red robot with a yellow face who he's never seen before, and he hoists the car-bot sized mech up, giving it a strange look. "Huh. Can't decide if you wanna turn into a jet or plane, do ya?" he asks, hoisting the mech over his shoulder, and starting on his journey back...

Dai-Janku gives Perceptor a bit of a smirk, and an enthusiastic thumbs-up. "Nothin' but a little Junkion ingenuity and guts, Professor!"
As Skyfire gives the call to move, Dai-Janku does so, backing up out of the way. "-kssssshk- Countdown - five, four, three, two, one, zero...."

Perceptor places himself out of Skyfire's way but where he can observe. Hopefully, provided this engine test does not demonstrate a catastrophic fault, they can get loaded up and headed back to the tunnels soon.
He's willing to leave any further finds behind if it means that they can get airborn and back to the safety of his little lab sooner rather than late. Maybe Holi would be available, too. Weary scientist could use a MicroHug.

Skyfire's engines thunder briefly, and then he cuts them off. "Looks good, Perceptor. There's a microwobble in the left turbofan that we'll want to straighten out back home, but I'm good enough to get us there."
He lowers his ramps invitingly. "Let's load up. I'm cutting the rest of this tour short and returning directly to base."
Too many dead, here. There seemed to be something especially lethal about the swamp arrival point--and particularly demoralizing about those found here. Poor Perceptor! So many of his friends among the dead here, and judging from Springer's reactions early in the battle, he'd seen someone he knew as well.
Skyfire had fought a dead alternate of himself, and he couldn't forget it. He couldn't help but wonder what his other self had died off, if he'd come from before the War or the middle of it, if he, too, had been betrayed by Starscream...
Too many unanswerables. Skyfire waited patiently for the others to load themselves and their finds aboard.

Springer returns fairly quickly with the boat-jet-bot, and starts to load it into Skyfire. He glances over at Perceptor and Dai-Janku. "I know there's not much, but lend a hand if you can. The sooner we're out of this smelting pit, the better."
After cramming Wingwaver into a storage bay, Springer starts on the rest. He may or may not be deliberately ignoring that helmet he placed there earlier..

Dai-Janku does get a bit of unpleasantness shoved his way, with Springer's retrieval of Wingwaver. He stops cold for a moment, then snaps back to reality when ordered to help. Mostly. He gives a quiet nod, and lends a hand, picking up the remains of the not-Skyfire, and loading them up.

So they all have their ghosts to confront, apparently. Or something similar, at least, if Dai-Janku's reaction is anything to judge by.
Before Springer or Dai-Janku can return outside and do so, Perceptor kneels beside the battered, and now headless, shell of the once vibrant Autobot engineer and scoops him up with a gentle care in direct odds with the violence the zombie had attacked Perceptor with. It is not Wheeljack's fault, after all, that his body had been hijacked for nefarious purposes, and Perceptor cannot stomach the thought of his friend's remains being treated as nothing more than inconvenient junk. Not that he thinks that Springer or Dai-Janku would, necessarily. Perceptor is simply... pre-empting the possibility as he loads up and helps secure all of the remains and parts with care.
"Is that the last of... of it?" He is ready to be gone from this horrible place.

"I believe so," Skyfire replies as the others load his capacious cargo bay. "Once you and Springer are satisfied we're done here, strap in and I'll lift."
There's not much he can do at the moment except wait patiently and monitor his sensors. Skyfire doesn't intend to be caught napping if the zombie-drones return for another go-round.
--- Done here? And close thread on Skyfire's departure, or do we want to cover anything back at base?

Springer closes the cargo bay once it's all loaded, and gives Perceptor a nod. "Loaded and secured. Now, let's get the hell out of here," he says, patting Perceptor lightly on the shoulder and heading up Skyfire's ramp.

Dai-Janku follows Springer into Skyfire, curiously glancing around. "It's like Galaxy Shuttle, just smaller..." he mumbles to himself, finding a seat to sit on.

Anything that isn't loaded yet is just going to get left behind. Perceptor may regret that later, but right now, he can't get strapped in quickly enough.
"I believe we are all ready, Skyfire. At your leisure."
ooc: I'm good with ending on Skyfire's departure.

"Aye-aye," Skyfire says, his voice echoing off the interior bulkheads. He raises his ramps with a hiss of hydraulics and then his jets rumble back to life. Wings spread wide for slow-speed flight as the big shuttle rises clear of the trees and climbs toward the sky.
Skyfire climbs high, but not into space; he won't risk a blazing re-entry with the burns scoring his fuselage. This time, his fellow Autobots get not the thunder of rockets and the blackness of space, but the roar of supersonic flight at high altitude as he cruises, Concorde-like, back to base.
---- And fade-out
