Rattrap could swear he'd just said whoever Botanica was talking about couldn't possibly be Rhinox. Maybe not in so many words, but the sentiment was there. It all comes back to Megatron anyway. Which can be rectified.
So unless he's missed something, aliens will try to use one of the moons orbiting Earth – and you know, now that he knows that gloriously forsaken space rock is Earth, the second moon seems like a pretty glaring screw-up on someone's part – to kill both stranded crews. Only Optimus goes all noble and self-sacrificing as always and blows himself up with the big planet-busting weapon of mass doom, thereby mutilating his own crew in a freak accident of physics explicable only by sheer dumb coincidence. Blackarachnia defects, a bunch of the Maximals bite it, the survivors make it off their home away from home only for Megatron to get away and, thanks to the vagaries of transwarp time/space buggery, take over Cybertron, thus once more screwing up their lives. But they're saved by reformatting and… then what?
"Does Megajerk get his worthless skidplate handed to him?" grumbles Rattrap, crossing his arms and sullenly settling back again. "Or do we hafta wait till next episode for the other shoe ta drop?"

Airazor remains quiet, trying to shut the pain away and focus on what Rattrap and Botanica are saying. The knowledge of her own death wasn't painful so much as shocking. She had known she would die someday. It was the deaths of Tigatron and Rhinox that were most painful... Especially not knowing Tigatron's fate (was she there with him when he went?) and Rhinox being a twisted version of himself...

"Yes, Rattrap, he was defeated. It took some doing, and cost Primal's life, but it was done. Optimus saved us all, saved the planet from Megatron's madness."
"The sparks were finally freed, including our own, and whatever occurred during that final battle prompted the reformatting of the entire planet"
She shakes her head, "I could elaborate on all the whys and hows, but really, it would take awhile. It's up to you two."

Rattrap can't really help a cynical snort. It isn't too surprising that the Big Bot would go and kick the bucket again – though the coming back from the dead thing had to be handy – to play the reckless hero if he did it once already. Or… will do it. The first time. This is enough to make Rattrap wish someone would show up from his past just so he can try frying a couple of their logic circuits with a recap.
"Nah, I think I'm good fer now," he says. There's only so much even he can take in one sitting, and he's got enough to chew on as it is, but he fixes a significant stare on Botanica. He still wants to know just what it is with her and, apparently, him in the far-flung future of technorganic land. "I'll get back to ya on dat reformatting Cybertron thing, though," he says instead before he turns and starts down the path out of the park. "Latah, Sprouts."
OOC: Rattrap's done here.

Airazor is not 'alright'. She won't be for a while after Botanica's news. But she'll survive.
Though now she has a greater appreciation for Tigatron's love of solitude.
"Thank you, Botanica." Airazor is very much aware that bad news is just as hard to give as it is to receive. She was the one who gave Rattrap bad news before, after all. "If you don't mind, I need some time to absorb this."
And with a nod to the plant-former, she jumps up, transforms, and flies off.
OOC: Out of thread.

Botanica lets out a long sigh once she's alone. That...went better than expected, though if she knows Rattrap, the matter isn't closed. Not by a long shot.
Time to get back to cataloging.
