Duskwing is caught by surprise as Assault jets away on his thruster boots and uses the extra momentum to fling Duskwing aside.
"Huh."
Duskwing lands awkwardly on his knees, jumps to his feet and tosses a cluster bomb into the pack of zombies. Then he runs the opposite direction, up the pile of rubble and into the upper tunnel he was in. He's had enough of zombies in tunnels; back to the upper air.
// Hey, Slag-wannabe, you gonna keep interfacing wit' dem zombies down here, or you gonna meet me in the air? You like tunnels so much, I think you got a re-p--re-p--recycled Autobot CPU! // Maybe blue-bonnethead would get torqued enough to chase Duskwing into the air.

Sadly, while his escape is successful, there's the simple fact that Assault isn't the best of fliers under normal circumstances. So instead of stabilizing himself he keeps bouncing around the passage way, crashing into the occassional zombie, and when he finally does manage to shut his engines down he's tumbling into an elevator shaft, crashing to the bottom with quite a loud 'thud'.
When he can he pushes himself up, groaning and complaining "Well, that could have most certainly gone better..." before he looks around, trying to get his bearings. What he sees though makes his optics narrow as he stands up, hands raised, though internally he couldn't be smiling more. //I shall be right there, ol' chap.//

Meanwhile, Duskwing makes it back to the surface and gratefully transforms--or tries to. The blast damage has taken its toll, and several parts are bent out of alignment. He give his wings a solid whack to get them to flip back, and stomps hard several times before his thruster boots will collapse properly. All in all, his transformation is awkward, slow and painful. Duskwing finally completes his transformation--just ahead of the zombies clutching at his ankles. He gives them a hot blast from his jet thrusters as he climbs into the sky, back where he belongs.
Now, where is that blue guy?

The blue guy takes a bit to pop up. Literally. Sirens wail as an elevator rises up in the middle of one of the towers, the blue Seeker slowly coming into view, his arms crossed and surrounded by monitors and other devices...Along with a small squad of zombies and the corpse of a red and yellow Autobot.
When the elevator snaps into place an ominous chuckle rumbles forth from his vocalizer, his fingers darting down to a nice big red button. With a single press electricity crackles around the tower and a shield surrounds it; a rather weak one, but it should hold out for now.
"Time to turn the proverbial tables on my dim witted opponent. It shall be very interesting to see how he will deal with a co-ordinated horde!" Assault cracks his servos before he lets them dance over the various control pads, his optics darting from screen to screen while the zombies begin to move as one. Those around him line up in a protective circle, clumsily holding partially rusted (but hopefully functional) rifles, ready to open fire at their new master's command. After all, it will only be a matter of time before Duskwing breaks through, but this Seeker does not intent to make it easy for him.
The zombies currently with him are not the only ones under his control. The shield kicking in should hopefully distract Duskwing from other elevators popping up all across the city, while old weapon arrays creak as they come back into action, manned by the husks that are the least damaged. Assault waits until he spots Duskwing before slamming his fist on another button on the console, yelling "ALL HANDS, OPEN FIRE! LET THE SLAUGHTER COMMENCE!". Within moments anti-air rounds streak across the sky, all the blasts coming right at the Seeker!

Duskwing is circling in between half-ruined towers when the ack-ack opens up. His combat programming sends him into a twisting dive, while the rest of his brain module tries to sort out what just happened.
"THE SLAG??" He's under massive anti-air fire, and it's taking everything has not to get blown out of the sky--BLAM! One engine takes a hit, and he's skidding out of his turn, black smoke trailing from the wounded engine.
Duskwing pulls up and opens throttle on the remaining engine, heading away from the concentrated fire. The Book says "Without special orders, do not attack heavily defended targets without support," and The Book is what Duskwing uses. That and panic. He flees.
Reality flickers, and Duskwing finds himself back in the plain white simulator room along with Assault. "Trainee Duskwing has gone out-of-bounds, terminating the scenario due to forfeit. Trainee Assault achieves a default victory. Objective: Defeat Flame -- achieved," recites the emotionless voice of the simulation computer.
"Huh?" Duskwing looks around, bewildered. He's a bit wobbly, but uninjured.

This may be a holo-sim, but that does not mean that Assault does not enjoy the sweet symphony of destruction. The sound of explosions, Duskwing yelling out in panic...It is almost as delicious as the knowledge of his pride being broken down as he is completely and utterly humiliated! "Ahhh, I must make a copy of the visual feed!"
But oh woes, Duskwing forfeits and the simulation is terminated. What a terrible, terrible shame. Assault actually has a slight look of disappointment on his face, but the sight of the other Seeker wobbling around makes that melt away almost instantly. "Well, I hope you learned a valuable lesson today, Duskwing: I am your superior in every conceivable way. I must admit though, that I am impressed by your sheer resilience, but ultimately, it is no match for my superior intellect!"
With an all too satisfied chuckle he walks towards Duskwing, raising a hand, ready to give the other Seeker a nice, hard pat on the shoulder as his very voice drips with smugness. "I hope you now realize your place: Beneath my heel."

Duskwing gives Assault a long blank stare as the blue Seeker gloats, then straightens up, working his neck and arm joints as he does so. He's still back at 'I'm not in Kalis anymore, what just happened, is everything working correctly?', but his internal diagnostics sort out quickly. Right. Simulation over, and he's fine.
Why is the simulation over?
"Huh?" he says absently as he starts processing what Assault has been saying--as Assault walks over to him. His optics narrow, and the blank stare turns into an angry scowl. Assault raises a hand to pat Duskwing patronizingly on the shoulder--
"You rust-eaten, fragging assembly-reject! YOU CHEATED!" Duskwing's right fist slams upward, right toward Assault's beautifully wide-open face, followed by a vicious left hook to Assault's cockpit.

With a sickening creak of metal Duskwing's fist meets Assault's face, crushing his nose, followed by the sound of shattering glass when his other fist impacts on his dome. The force of that second blow is enough to make the blue Seeker stagger backwards, holding his crushed nose while looking in disbelief at Duskwing.
But disbelief makes way for pure rage. His optics narrow until they are thin orange slits burning with hatred, his hand lowering and joining the other as they clutch into fists. He stands there, perfectly still for a few seconds more, completely silent and still, save for the soft bleeping coming from his broken canopy and the occassional red flashing.
Then, without warning he yanks off one of his armcannons before he lunges for Duskwing, brandishing the weapon like a club and putting all of his strength into it as he swings it towards the Seeker.

Duskwing doesn't wait around for his follow-through. He lunges forward, going for a headbutt on that broken canopy. He twists as the gun comes swinging down, catching the butt of it on his right air intake. The shoulder-mounted intake crumples under the blow.
His head smashes even more canopy and Duskwing grapples, trying to force Assault down by sheer weight and momentum.

Assault doesn't even get a chance to enjoy the satisfying sound of the intake crumbling, with Duskwing grappling him down to the ground. The blue Seeker grunts as he meets the grounds, but then he's right back to bashing the butt of his cannon against Duskwing's head, while sending his own knee into his canopy until finally it gives.

Cannon butt to the head doesn't do much to Duskwing, though it might break Assault's cannon if he keeps it up. His cowl is armored like any other Seeker's, and previous events have demonstrated that Duskwing doesn't keep many vital components in his head. He survived Springer blowing a hole clean through his head, after all.
His cockpit caves in completely, armored glass crunching and ersatz controls sparking. Duskwing snarls silently and he raises one arm to block the other Seeker's swings as he half-rolls off Assault, his wingtip hitting the floor with a clang. Then he clambers to his feet, or tries to.

Unfortunately, Assault is not quite aware of just how tough the other Seeker is, though he's starting to get a clue once his armcannon breaks instead of Duskwing's head.
Once he rolls off him Assault scrambles to get up, waiting until Duskwing is up on at least one knee, which he promptly tries to break by kicking it, HARD.

In an eerie foreshadowing of Duskwing's fight with Sentinel Prime, Assault brutally kicks the dark blue and purple Seeker in the knee--only to discover that Duskwing is just as tough as Assault, if not tougher. The knee won't break to Sentinel's shield in the future, and it doesn't break now--though Assault bends the armored guard in front of the joint.
Duskwing lunges forward from his half crouch, trying to grab Assault's extended leg with thoroughly ill intent. "So youse got a bearing after all," he growls.

This...Assault did not expect. He actually blinks when the joint does not give, before snapping out of it and trying to sweep Duskwing's leg to send him back down. But alas, the other Seeker is faster then he is! The blue seeker curses as he tries to get his leg free, or at least plant his thruster heels right into that simpleton's face!
He doesn't answer Duskwing's taunt though; oh no, he is far too focused on making this fragger pay before he wastes another word on him.

Duskwing grabs Assault's leg between both hands, slams forward trying to collapse the leg, and twists hard. He doesn't care if he wrenches the joint or throws Assault on his face--he can work with either one.
His face is set in a feral grimace, and the light of combat shines in his optics.
