Very early on Day 16, well before Trials and Tribulations. Event Horion medbay. Open to Autobots.
"Erk. What happened? I- whoa!"
Elita-1 puts a hand to her brow as the room starts to spin, interrupting her attempt to sit up. She manages to keep from falling back on the berth by bracing herself with one hand.
Checking her chronometer, she winces, then rubs her brow some more. Even that movement hurt.
"I've been out a good while, haven't I?" she asks the room in general. She still hasn't been able to focus her optics enough to see who might be on shift right now.

Jetstorm and Jetfire were injured! And, uh...so was Elita-1. So Sentinel Prime just has to come check and see if any of them are here, now that he's off that shift cleaning the hallways, and he can check in!
A friend would check in on injured friends. He's pretty sure of that. Elita-1 wanted Sentinel Prime to act more friendly. Friendship may not be what he's feeling; he's not sure he's feeling anything but tired, but friendly is definitely what he'll be acting here!
Sentinel Prime pokes in, looking around for officers and injured and whatnot. He does notice Elita-1, and he takes a moment to try to decide what to do. Should he smile? Do smiles make people feel better? Should he look sad, because he's sad she's injured? A friend would be sad if his friend was injured, wouldn't he?
Or should he act self-absorbed and be freaking the flip out over the fact that he goes on trial later today?
Hmmm, this is a pretty tough choice, Sentinel Prime thinks. He goes for cracking a lame joke to try to cheer Elita-1 and hide the nervousness that he himself should be feeling, "Any time you're out is a bad time, I say."

Optimus Prime follows Sentinel Prime in, not because he walked here with Sentinel Prime, but because they happened to be going to the same place and it just worked out that way.
"You've been out for [time period]. Good to see you up! How are you feeling?" he asks, kneeling beside Elita's berth and reaching for her hand. "What happened, anyway?"

Elita smiles, and smiles broadly, as both her boys come to check on her. Maybe she doesn't deserve them (especially Sentinel after what she did) and maybe she shouldn't think of them as hers but... they are and she does, and just seeing them there makes her head hurt a little less.
Laughing a little at Sentinel's crack, she says, "For once, I don't think I'll argue with you, Sentinel. I feel like sloppy solder on a circuit board. My evil twin has a wicked bite, it seems."
Oh, but there's Optimus, being the gallant one. Elita's face softens a bit as she watches him. "Oh, it was a mess-" she starts to say when he grabs her hand. Her eyes widen...
And Optimus needs to check his PM's. >_>

OOC: Swapping rotation order okay'd with Sentinel Prime's and Elita-1's players.
At first, for a moment, Optimus thinks Elita's just carrying a static charge on her hand. That can happen sometimes when you're made of metal. Another moment, and it hits him that the pain isn't stopping, it's getting worse, and it feels terribly, horribly familiar.
He snatches his hand back, cradling his wrist in his other hand, and almost stumbling back into the wall as he puts a hand to his (suddenly painful) head. "Elita, I think you just downloaded me," he says, words slightly slurred.
What he doesn't add is that it felt like Blackarachnia doing it.

Sentinel Prime doesn't think he wants to hear about Elita-1 feeling like sloppy solder on a circuit. He knows he doesn't want to think about how her face softens when she looks at Optimus, because... because...
...if he was actually going to be a friend to Optimus, he'd warn him about her.
As these unwanted thoughts drift through Sentinel Prime's head, Optimus goes stumbling back, cradling his wrist. Should have warned him. He does move to try to put a hand on Optimus's shoulder to steady him, if Optimus will let him, a look of concern drifting over his face. That's what a friend would do.
Sentinel Prime looks from Elita-1 to Optimus and asks, "Do we know what just happened?"

Elita is snatching her hand back as Optimus is snatching his away. She stares at the appendage as if has suddenly turned into something monstrous. Which... isn't that far from the truth, really.
"I... I did. But... but I didn't activate it. I have to activate my power for it to work and it doesn't work like- like that!" she insists, voice rising in fear and protest.
"It just happened when you touched me! Maybe- maybe it got stuck to on after- let me see."
Sitting up more fully on the berth, she curls her arms around her knees and visibly turns inward. After a few moments she speaks again, her voice soft and sick.
"I can't shut it off. And... it changed."

What would Sentinel warn Optimus about, exactly? That Elita-1 has the potential in her to become Blackarachnia? He already knows that, though perhaps not as well as Sentinel does, having been robo-smashed by her.
Optimus lets Sentinel put a hand on his shoulder. "Thanks, Sentinel."
"What it felt like when you touched me just now, I . . . I've felt that sensation before. When I got stung by Blackarachnia," he admits. He knows it'll hurt Elita to hear it, but it has to be said. Because the medical staff need all the pertinent information if they're going to compassionately heal Elita-1, with her full consent. That's what doc-bots are supposed to do, right? What they actually do do here, right? The Perceptor and Botanica here are not the same as the ones back home.

Mostly that Elita-1 thinks it is okay to robo-smash other Autobots when they don't act how she wants. A real bro would tell his bro that hot piece of taillights he's after is crazy, right?
But that's the thing. Sentinel Prime just has to act friendly. He doesn't have to do the right thing, and these things a very different things, indeed.
Though, he's also not sure admitting what Elita-1 did to him would go well for Elita-1, and while he's not sure about that, he's sure he doesn't want to give up that favour she owes him now.
Sentinel Prime just shrugs when Optimus thanks him. Yeah, whatever. He asks, "Want me to punch the medic call button?"
He should. Protocol says so. Something unusual and medical related just happened. However, maybe Optimus will have one of those dumb creative ideas he always does that annoy Sentinel Prime. If the idea is a good idea, great! If the idea is bad, maybe it'll go horribly and then they can all be miserable together. Sentinel Prime's already miserable. The idea of all his old friends being miserable, too, holds some appeal.
Sentinel Prime looks Optimus over, thinking a moment longer - he can't hold onto his hate, it slips through his fingers, and his frustration at his inability to feel anything is just as fleeting, so he instead asks the begged question, "When'd she sting you?"

Whimpering, Elita buries her face in her hands and sobs. At least she's immune to her own ability.
"She... she said she wanted to be me! I don't want to be her! I don't, I don't!"
"I'm not!"
She continues to cry, whimpering out protests between sobs.
She's not really in good place to make decisions right now. Especially since what she really wants to do is bolt.

Optimus sighs. "Just after we landed. She was taunting me over the radio and I went to find her. We fought and she got the drop on me," he admits, a little chagrined. "She seems to have it out for both- for all three of us. That's why we've got to stick together! There's a Decepticon out there that's after us! The three of us specifically, I mean."
He nods at Sentinel. "We'd better call a medic, yeah."
"Of course you're not her, Elita!" he says, wanting to put a hand on her shoulder, but unable to do so for obvious reasons. "And you don't have to be! There's just something wrong with your download power. I'm sure the med team can fix it," he says, ever the optimist.

"You won't be," Sentinel Prime tells Elita-1, in what he hopes is a somewhat reassuring fashion, "In fact, when we get the medic in here, we can ask him to fix your download power so it can't download spiders, either."
He strides over to the medic call button and punches it, adding a radio comment. Over there, Sentinel Prime reasons aloud sidelong, voice flat and thoughtful, "Yeah. Guess she came after me after she got you? Thing is, Jetstorm and Jetfire came after me, too, and if they'd gotten there sooner, Blackarachnia and Oil Slick would have tortured them, too."
Sentinel Prime walks back over to Optimus, casually as he can, and he leans in and whispers lowly, hoping Elita-1 won't hear, "And if Jetstorm or Jetfire or any Autobot or Maximal but me had gotten jacked up by those two because you didn't warn the great Autobot machine about the lurking arachnid threat promptly, I would have had to keelhaul you under the Event Horizon with your own grapplers, do you understand? And blast whatever Springer or Kup would do to me after."
He tries to give Optimus a friendly pat on the shoulder, grinning widely as he finishes, "Personal business stops being personal when there's the potential for bystanders to get caught in the crossfire, you understand?"

Optimus could put a hand on her shoulder. Elita came out easy, compared to her future self; her ability still only works through her hands.
"The- the entire process tree has been rewritten, all the way down to the base code. Even my internal resets are compromised. I don't know if they can fix it. It's not like we've got a backup of my originals on a datadisk somewhere!" Nope, wrong reality for that.
"The off switch is completely gone!"
Elita collapses into sobs again. She's starting to sound desperate, and the two Primes probably don't want to know what she's contemplating right now.

A few berths over, a blue 'bot stirs, groaning. The shouting and such has stirred Jetstorm to being awake.
However, he hasn't been awake since the events at the temple, so he's a bit disoriented. "Uhhggh... Where is flashy badness-bot? And spider-bot?"
He tries to raise up, then slumps back down. "Ow, that is being bad idea."

Following on his radio response by a minute or so, Swerve – no longer limping and looking mostly himself down to the sullen scowl on his face, though there are still swathes of scraped plating where he hasn't gotten around to repainting himself yet – trudges into medical. It's exhaustion, not reluctance, slowing him down; he's been busy with his punishment details and with a personal project on the side and in spite of being built to handle long stretches, he's feeling it.
"Before I do anything," he says without preamble, "start by tellin' me what the smelt you mean by 'download mod'." He turns his glare from the sobbing girl to the two trucks beside her, then spares an aside glance for the groaning kid down the way. "You!" he barks, pointing at Jetstorm. "You fraggin' stay still and I'll get to you in a minute."
