Skipping Starfighter due to time-out. Assuming armor is back on because I want to get out of this thread.
Counterpunch waits impatiently for the rest of his armor to be put back in place, helping where he can to speed things up. Then he slides off the metal table, his feet hitting the floor with a heavy clang, and stalks towards the exit, optics daring anyone to get in his way.
He has a date with a computer terminal. And, erm, his 'assigned reading.'
OOC: Out of thread.

Starfighter keeps his mouth shut for the rest of the armor-donning, but he's giving Counterpunch a wide berth as he does it. Perhaps he should have kept his mouth shut.

Duskwing winced occasionally as Hook worked on his wing, but he didn't curse or complain; Hook was fixing the mess--or so Duskwing trusted.
He stared at Shortround for a moment. "I like that idea, 'cept the part where you gotta go into the mine after dem guys to finish 'em. Blow 'em up on the surface instead. Easier to find the parts."
Duskwing was a jet. He hated chasing people into tunnels. Tunnels were where you couldn't fly, and Autobot commandos lurked in ambush.
He paid no mind to the discourse between Starfighter and Counterpunch; it was beyond his little tent (He got a tent to himself! Cool!) and interest.
"Oh, dere was a weird thing. Dey got a Thundercracker--only he's a Decepticon and he's messed up somehow. I think he's their slave. Dose guys talked like I'd rather be dead than like what they did to him, whatever dat was."

"It gives us someone else to take the brunt of the assault when we go after the Autobots. Unless you want us to be dealing with Omega Supreme?" Hook asks archly. "Don't fret. Starscream finally has someone to work out how to betray again. I'm certain the challenge will rouse him from his recent lethargy."
The Constructicon refrains from pointing out that the evil Autobots could also view them as the ones who should be taking the brunt of the attack. He hasn't heard the battle-plan yet (and rest assured, when he does, someone will be getting an earful).
The mess was indeed getting fixed, though there were a number of things getting thrown out and replaced with fabricated parts. Hook does not trust anything this Perceptor has put into Duskwing. While it may take longer to out-and-out replace all of these flaws, the Constructicon can rest easy knowing that Duskwing likely won't be back in Medical for some time to come after this is dealt with.
"Starfighter, get rid of Counterpunch and get over here! Cut open Duskwing's other wing and start prepping it for a gut-and-replace job."

Scourge would give Shortround a thumbs up, if two conditions were met. Firstly, he would have to be one to use that gesture. Secondly, his hand would have to be not-full. But, he does wave an insect leg in the hovercraft's general direction. "Thanks for the assistance." The sentiment is most sincere.
And so, Scourge sets the first load down where Hook can reach it, and then heads back for anything more to get.

Shortround wants to get with Thunderblast. He knows all about sucking up to more powerful Decepticons. Its just that the ones with big guns scare him too much to suck up to, but he's fine with his other fellow low level ones, like Scourge. Even so, he nods. Though Scourge still creeps him out a bit. All those legs... Not that Shortround hasn't dealt with aliens with lots of legs before. Its just that most of them had legs on each side of the body, not just one.
Shortround puts the pile down and indicates towards his toy mining worm, half painted. "We have a big one of them, I say we use him to bury them" he says, before heading back for another load.
He probably could carry more in his alt mode, but no one wants a fully loaded hovercraft hovering through medical now, do they?

"Yessir!" Starfighter practically throws himself across the room to get away from the Decepticon he may have just pissed off. He cleans his hands and delicately slips his way into the tent, picking up a tool that's not in use and starting to slice his wing open.
If you consider such things notable, he's very pointedly not looking at the rest of him.

"Yeah, well...." Duskwing trailed off, scowling lopsidedly, having lost track of whatever thought he was responding to.
"Hey!" Duskwing snapped at Starfighter as he started to cut into his other wing. "Whaddaya doing? Only the tip of that wing was busted! You gotta cut the whole thing up, too?"
He looked back at Hook, his expression a twisted mixture of apprehension and surliness. "Does he gotta do that? You really have to rip out and redo everything Red-bot botched?" Dismay shaded his voice and he fell silent for several moments.
"Yeah, I guess you do if it's botched." Duskwing looked terribly crestfallen. "Dis sucks. He 'fixed' stuff all over me, you can see dat."

"Yes, I can and I have to." How to avoid a whiny Seeker? Oh yes, turn him into a babbling Seeker. "Give me your impressions of these Autobots, Duskwing."
Fortunately or unfortunately for Duskwing, Hook is not merely fixing the damage Perceptor did. He is also fixing whatever else might need tweaking in Duskwing's wing so that it meets certain standards. Standards that are usually so demanding that standard operations will gradually knock out of possibility, but it's likely to be pleasant while it lasts.
Hook's perfection ensures that he gets things absolutely right the first time. He just takes a significant amount of time to do it in.
Which would be why he's still on Duskwing's first wing, instead of cleaning out the other one.

Scourge giggles beneath his faceplate, on the edge of auidibility. Oh, don't worry, Shortround. There's a plan in place for dealing with these Autobots. Scourge saw it -did it- himself. A far more insidious, far less detectable, far more fun plan than the use of force. But, anyway, Scourge doesn't voice these thoughts. 'Twould likely not please the higher ups. He most certainly doesn't want that.
And, with the help of the hovercraft, Scourge gets Hook his parts.

Shortround just thinks Scourge agrees with his plan, with the small laugh. If Shortround knew he had some sort of disease ready to damage them, he'd probably be happy as well, especially if it lead to Autobot destruction. Shortround really, really, really doesn't like Autobots.
After helping move the parts, Shortround returns to the bench he's been sitting on, painting the mining worm until he's needed again.

Starfighter quietly keeps doing exactly what he was doing, resisting the urge to somehow apologize for the treatment. Serious medics don't apologize. They may smirk occasionally, but they don't apologize.
Still, he's resisting the urge to shudder. That could have been him...

Duskwing scowled lopsidedly at Hook. He'd already been telling him about the strange Autobots; didn't the Constructicon listen? Typical officer, just giving orders and not listening to anything Duskwing said just because Duskwing was just a grunt Seeker.
He glared at Starfighter. "You a drone or did Hook shut your voice off?"
Duskwing decided he'd better answer Hook's question, even if it was redundant. Hook was fixing him.
"Lessee... Skyblast talks like an artist." Duskwing can't help shuddering ever so slightly. "He wanted to make art out of me!"
"Slingshot didn't say nothin', he just shot me a lot. The big gray one seemed sorta mellow, like Fleetwind. Didn't hear much outta Skyfire. Oh yeah, Thundercracker was with him--then dat Clownwagon-Prime told him to come up front and show himself. He was s'posed to scare me, I dunno why. He's their slave or something. Dey did something to him--Skyblast told me I'd be better off dead than like TC, and dey said TC was dead but still moving."
Duskwing gave Hook a confused look. "Dat don't make no sense. Lotta things dem guys did made no sense."

This is new information. Something, Hook suspects, Duskwing would not quite realize because Duskwing was defective. But at least he was defective with a near-perfect wing.
Finished with replacing the internals, Hook begins to weld the plating back on over it.
And that little tidbit about Thundercracker almost stops him cold. He understands, even if Duskwing does not. The idea itself is not new, though most Decepticon engineers capable of pulling it off were smart enough to realize it set a bad precedent.
So. The Autobots have a too-brave mind-programmer over there. How very... interesting.
"Have you ever been locked up, Duskwing? Could you imagine what it's like to be locked inside your own head and not able to control your actions? To be utterly enslaved?"

And Hook has his parts within reach. How handy for him. "Parts here, boss. Let me know if you need anything more." Scourge does not wait for a reply before slipping back to his instruments. Perhaps it would have been wise to ask if there was anything more Hook needed before getting back to his experiments. But, whoever said Scourge is wise?
OOC: Skippable.
