// What?! // Kup exclaims. // Don't let that stuff touch you, lad! That's Blight! //
So Kup is fine with cannibals, but black dust apparently makes him flip out.
// Rodimus, we needa get those guys offa that ship now! Ain't gonna be no one on there in any condition for a rescue! //

// Understood, Kup. // On another day, in another lifetime, it might have been tempting to rib the old man for flipping out, and were it anyone else, Rodimus would dismiss their panic on the off chance that there's someone on that horrorboat that's in trouble.
But this is Kup, and Rodimus trusts Kup's judgement like he trusts no other (even if he's loathe to admit it).
// Sentinel, Springer, begin withdrawing your teams. Skyfire, be ready for pick-up. Arcee, get down to the hanger and grab a shuttle to help with the evac. //
OOC: I know that Skyfire is skippable/vacation right now. When the time comes, we can just assume that folks get grabbed off the ship as appropriate.

//Hey!//
There is an awkward pause.
//Uhm. Sir. I've found the control room!//
Sentinel Prime takes a moment to think.
//It's [distance] x, [distance] y, [distance] z from where Skyfire dropped us off on the aft of the ship.//
Provided that the other Autobots have a basic understanding of spatial geometry, they know exactly where he is now! So do any potential Reaver interceptors who speak Autobot, so pssh.

Ah! Well, since he found it, anyway...
//Can you work any of the controls? If we have to, we'll try blowing it out of space, but with a ship that size, a timed self-destruct might be a better option.//

// Hmmm. //
// All right. Uhm. Damn, wish I could see that for myself. // Obviously, they need to upgrade Holi to provide person-to-person sensor links, even if they're liable to lose information when it comes from non-specialists. // Switching to your personal freq to avoid cluttering their airwaves. //
Rodimus does so, but his player is keeping it all in this thread to make life easy. // I think what you're looking for is the Justraxian resistive countdown setting, which should be that dial you mentioned over towards the right... // [trail off into step by step instructions for initiating a count down that might actually run across a couple of rounds.]

// All right. That should get it all set up. The problem is, we can't be sure about the exact time we have left once the countdown starts. With that configuration, it's probably about seven minutes, but I can't be sure, so I don't want you hitting the final activation sequence until we've got everyone in a position where we know we can get them off quickly. //
And no, Sentinel can't just say, 'Uh, I just did the final activation sequence.' Rodimus hasn't told him what it is yet.
Of course, if something else somehow sets it off, that... that would be bad.

Sentinel Prime continues to ask Rodimus for advice on how to set up the self-destruct. [Insert boring queries here.]

Rodimus gives the remainder of the controls, listening to hear what step Sentinel is on. "Now all that's left is the green button on the left side. Don't press it until we get a confirmation that everyone is in the process of withdrawing. The countdown will start when you do, but don't be surprised if you can't read the numbers."
A green button? Who makes a self-destruct system activated by a green button? Darned Lithones!

//Uh, switch three, sir? The wires under the panel have been... chewed. This is a mess.// Sentinel Prime gives Rodimus a more thorough description of the problem. - - - Back on general, he directs, //Hey, Impactor? ...and, uh, Springer, sir,// as an afterthought, //could you keep an optic out for Optimus? Optimus... detached from my group, so as to cover ground more effectively. That's how we found the control room!// That is definitely one way of putting, 'I fell through the floor and misplaced my heroic firetruck'.

Impactor grunts. That's probably an affirmative.

Drift had really been hoping for Guzzle to call this in, but then again, yeah. Maybe best left to the experts.
//Anyone notice anything crunchy and weird about these things?//
He looks down at his corroded sword.
//Kind of torquing me off.//
Drift hates the unknown. Especially because he can't stab it.

//Weird's not surprising, if Springer's run into Blight. Wouldn't know about 'crunchy', but if you run into any black dust, don't let it touch you. It's corrosive and addictive.// Because falling apart alone isn't bad enough.

//Black dust. Got it.//
Concerned!Drift is concerned!
//...generalized splattered in gore okay?//
Because Drift's kind of marinating in Lithone goo at the moment.
