Given his marching orders to get his team ready by Emirate Xaaron, Sentinel Prime books it to the hangar, driving down the hallway only semi-erratically and transforming once he's there. He figures the hangar is the most logical disembarkment spot, unless, AllSpark forbid, that ship of the... dead grapples them and boards them.
He hopes Skyfire's not on essential duty, Sentinel Prime decides right off the bat. Having a spacer is handy for problems in space. He dares to hope that perhaps Jetfire or Jetstorm will be available, too.
Sentinel Prime pulls out his datapad to keep abreast of the situation and tries to muse about how he can use whoever happens to show and how he can keep Springer from getting all the credit.

When Sentinel reaches the hanger, he will find a certain spy already there, watching the silent ship from one of the viewing windows.
"How bad is it?" he asks.
The sudden radio silence, followed by the order, indicates that it's pretty bad.

Optimus rolls into the hangar and transforms soon after Sentinel, giving the Primer Prime a quick salute. "What's the plan, sir?"

Elita-1 is hot on Optimus's wheels. Perhaps they came from the same place? She doesn't say anything, but she does pop off a smart salute to Sentinel.
Mirage gets shot an annoyed look. Does the snotty spy ever behave in a proper military manner?

Sentinel Prime wonders just how long Mirage has been in the hangar, watching. It's a little freaky.
Outside, it's a lot freaky. Sentinel Prime pauses to stop and stare. It doesn't look so bad from here, the silent ship. When it gets closer, though...
Sentinel Prime folds his hands behind his back and paces. He's going to have to explain all of this over again three times for stragglers, he's sure, and he hates it. Why can't people be timely? Stupid transportation taking time.
Finally, he composes himself and looks at who he has here, realising that, with a sinking feeling, Mirage, Optimus, and Elita-1 might be all he gets: the aristo who might shoot him in his sleep, the Boy Scout, and the woman who broke his head. What can he do with this?
Sentinel Prime explains, "I think we're going to try to avoid them. They're not broadcasting a distress call, so it's... not really any of our business. They're not responding to hails, but I want everyone to put a request in to Glyph for Lithonian language packs just in case. There are Lithonian... dead strapped to the... malfunctioning ship in our way. It's unshielded. Rodimus Prime seems to think Quintessons might be involved."
He looks over at Mirage and asks bluntly, "Will you be all right, if Quintessons are? Because if they won't get out of the way, we might have to go in there and make them."

Never fear, Sentinel! Jetfire is here!
Jetfire bursts into the hangar, the rockets in his feet blazing, and screeches to a halt mid-air. Landing gracefully, he gives Sentinel Prime as salute. "Apologies if I am being the late, sir! I was on the other end of the ship."
Dropping his salute, he relaxes slightly and awaits orders.

Jetstorm is hot on his brother's heels!
He lands beside his brother, saluting as well. "I was being on other side of the ship, too!"

Skyfire finally enters, carrying a couple of cargo containers, one under each arm. "Sorry I took so long. Sentinel Prime, I took the liberty of picking up some extra supplies in case we need them for survivors or for ourselves. Oh, and some extra ammo and spare engine parts. Just in case."
Sure, it's just a short jaunt over to the other ship, and they probably won't need the stuff. On the other hand, it could have a malfunctioning jump drive that shorts on and flings them halfway down the galactic arm as soon as they board it. Or someone could get an inconvenient hole shot through his maneuvering thrusters.
"If someone could load those into my cargo bay once I transform, that would be helpful."

Bringing up the rear is Slider, skidding through the doors. After coming to a stop he transformed and sprinted the rest of the way to the team.
"I'm sorry I'm late sir... I was in recharge when the call came..."

"I'll be fine," Mirage answers, gaze still on the mysterious ship. And he will be. It wouldn't be the first time Mirage would have to smile and play nice with an enemy, after all.
He pushes off the wall and moves to help Skyfire get loaded.

"Quintessons would be bad news," Optimus opines. "Though they're certainly not the only ones to ever use the bodies of their enemies as decoration." If that's their only criteria, they could be looking at any one of dozens of crazy sicko alien races.
He follows Mirage's lead, moving to assist Skyfire with his cargo.

While others see to Skyfire, Elita-1 moves up next to Sentinel.
"I've read what little we have on the Lithones in the database. Is there anything additional you think is pertinent? Also-"
She looks off, seemingly staring at the ship. "On or off?" she asks as she fingers the gloves which always cover her hands these days.

"Excuses, excuses. I ought to bust you two back to Basic Programming!" Sentinel Prime barks at the Twins, optics flashing, "In my day, it didn't matter if you were on the opposite side of the planet - late is late!"
If Optimus and Elita-1, who are from Sentinel Prime's 'day', dare snigger, Sentinel Prime is making the next training session about Black Mercies, so help him AllSpark.
Then he whirls on Skyfire and asks, "Yeah? And did you top up enough to be able to accelerate that extra mass?" Weight may not be a problem in space, but mass still requires energy to accelerate! Also, forget ammo. Ammo is for crazy alternate universe Autobots who don't have powers like normal people.
The sigh Sentinel Prime gives Slider expresses his frustration more than any words could. He's about to give Slider the same chewing out that the Twins got when he realises that he needs to answer Mirage, so he says to Mirage gruffly, "Good."
This is suddenly many more people than he's used to managing. Sure, there's been training, but... Sentinel Prime spends a moment staring off blankly at the silently ship, rubbing his antennae. He has a headache already, and to think, to listen to the Twins, if he was back home, he'd be acting Magnus, in charge of a whole planet! Ultra Magnus always made it look so easy.
Sentinel Prime is cheered by the fact that he has an opportunity to chide Optimus, pointing out, "We don't know that they did that to their enemies. In some cultures, it is an honour to be sacrificed," like our own, he thinks, reflecting on traditional Autobot values.
Being a sanctimonious liberal is not quite as satisfying as being a sanctimonious conservative, for Sentinel Prime, but it'll do in a pinch, like Diet Energon. His engine always knocks so badly after Diet Energon.
He turns to Elita-1 and directs, "Keep them on for now. You can pull them off later if you need to."

Jetfire snaps into another salute at Sentinel Primes's reprimand, looking suitably serious and chastised. "Yes, sir! It will not be to happening again, sir!"
He doesn't drop his salute until Sentinel's attention turns elsewhere, after which he sends a bit of a pout in Slider's direction for not getting chewed out for lateness. So not fair!
Oh well, in the meantime he's going to help the others load up Skyfire.

On the other hand, the twins can move faster than Slider, so perhaps there is some fairness in the lack of chewing-out at Slider. Either way, Jetstorm mirrors his brother, and once they have their hands down, Jetstorm's curiosity gets the better of him.
"Um...what is the mission being, Sentinel Prime, sir?" Optimus' question has him rather concerned.
