Glyph pulls out a datapad, and through the magic of Future Computers Doing Shiny Things, she pulls up a copy of the repair manual, and finds the section on rerouting signals.
//We need Access Panel Theta...// she says, looking up. //Should be behind you,// she says, moving carefully around the craft. Once around Holi, she motions to a large silvery panel with a number of alien characters printed on it.
Hopefully, what's inside it isn't a headache!

What's inside? It's a Space Raccoon, that lives in vacuums, chews on cables, and messes up switchboards! Their original home has naturally occurring pulleys and gears for them to forage, but they've spread to other worlds as nuisances. They're pretty harmless to living machines, though. Don't seem to like the taste.

Holi did not bring traps with him! He gawks at the space raccoon once he prizes open the panel and the raccoon peers back at him, unhappy to have been discovered but not willing to lash out, either. Holi starts to apologise to it, then stops because he's in a vacuum and the little thing can't hear him. He tries to look apologetic instead as he reaches for it because, well, he has work to do and the raccoon can't be here.
//He's gnawed on just about everything in here!// Holi exclaims in dismay once he manages to get both hands on the raccoon and wrest the clearly disgruntled creature free of its cosy cubby.

Glyph leans away from it juuuuust a bit - despite her intentions to not be xenophobic like those back home, she's still got some aversion to organics - namely ones that make a habit of chewing on mechanical things!
Of course, Glyph does not know of the critter's aversion to living machines.
//Wonderful. What do you propose we do with the thing?//

The Space Raccoon, as if sensing Glyph's instinctive aversion to strange critters, promptly tries to crawl on top of Glyph's head. Those horns look like good paw-holds! It does not try to bite or anything hostile, though. Glyph doesn't look tasty.
However, Holi has grabbed it! No climbing now! The raccoon wriggles and bats at Holi, eyes intent on Glyph's head.

//I… don't know.// Holi looks from his squirming handful to Glyph and back again. //If it eats wires, we can't just let it go, can we? It could wreck another satellite.// He watches it make eyes at Glyph and paw at him and he can't quite help a smile. //It's kind of cute, don't you think?// he wonders. //And it isn't vicious, or doesn't seem that way. Even if it eats circuit boards and stuff, it isn't trying to bite me.// He turns as much as he dares, doing so slowly to avoid disrupting his inertia too greatly, so he can try to present the space raccoon for Omega Supreme's inspection. At least he hopes the big Autobot has some cameras or sensors pointed in this direction. //What do you think, Omega Supreme?// After all, he's part of this job crew, too!

Glyph squirms slightly, but thankfully Holi's grip on the creature is keeping it from coming after her. However, Holi's observation about that it's not chewing on them does a bit to soften her opinion of the thing. //Well, maybe we can take it down to the planet when we get done? Though, I'm not sure if that's good for them or not.//
A conundrum!

Omega Supreme regards the squirming space raccoon dubiously. he sounds dubious, too, when he replies, //Suggestion: animal shelter?//
Yeah, he's got nothing.

Holi frowns, concerned with this development. He can't work while he's holding a space raccoon! He needs his hands free!
//I suppose,// he murmurs. //But how do we stop it from chewing on other satellites now?// He can't really stuff it into his passenger compartment. Hesitantly, he tries setting the raccoon on his shoulder, then gives it a "stay" gesture. Maybe it'll understand. //Glyph,// he says because they really ought to get on with the job, //I need to know what all these labels mean.//

Glyph nods at Omega's suggestion. //A shelter would be ideal, but not practical at the moment...// Then Holi puts the creature on his shoulder. A bit unorthodox, but hopefully it will listen. //Perhaps we can find a surplus part, or something already broken to pacify the creature while we work?//
Then Holi reminds her that they have a job to do, and she nods. //Ah, right...// she answers, glancing over the labels. //Switches A, F, and L,// she starts, pointing them out, //need to be moved to the opposite position. Then the transmitter,// which is also pointed out, //Needs to be tuned to Omega's receiver frequency...// Assuming that Omega already gave them this for the mission, she keys it into her datapad and puts the translated version under it, so Holi can put the correct numbers into the satellite.

The space raccoon looks longingly at Glyph's head, but he stays on Holi's shoulder for now, seemingly having no fear of Transformers.
Omega Supreme totally did give them his receiver frequency!
For now, there seem to be no surprises with the satellite, only many, many parts with confusing languages on them.

The work carries on with relative efficiency once Holi offers the raccoon a sheared bolt. It probably isn't very yummy, but who knows? It might at least amuse the little guy and occupy him, and it keeps Holi from feeling guilty about leaving the raccoon with nothing to do but sit there and watch.
With Glyph pointing out and translating the labels just a step ahead of him to keep the flow going, Holi gets the signals rerouted to Omega Supreme, then starts picking out all the bits and pieces the racoon managed to ruin during his stay. And the more he gets into his job, the more easily his old lessons come back to him; he goes with the flow until he abruptly finds his hands have outpaced Glyph's translation and he has no idea what the panel he's staring at reads.
"…Um." He stands there, arms frozen in mid-reach, and looks helplessly at his partner.

Glyph shows some fairly mild amusement. She might not have any interest at all that would draw Clipper's ire, but Holi is kinda cute when he's helpless. //You've got to slow down just a bit. That's a whoozit, and it needs to be connected to that whatsit over here,// she says, pointing to each part as needed.
//Once that's done, press...// She glances over the array of parts, and then points to a large red button. //That. That will start the signal going to Omega Supreme.//

Perhaps sheared bolts are a delicacy to space raccoons.
When the feeds hit Omega Supreme, he busies himself with relaying them, not paying much attention to what they are.
They aren't heavily encrypted though (anyone could pirate them, how terrible!), and Omega Supreme, a bit bored, decides to give it a watch.
He is... disgusted. This is completely inappropriate! Then the thought hits Omega Supreme that if he can interpret this, Holi probably can, too.
Oh no oh no oh no.
What ever shall Omega Supreme do?

Omega Supreme can rest easy for now; Holi is far too engrossed in his work to actually mind the broadcast feeds. And odds are if he does notice, he's going to wonder if this is where Fire and Pipo got some of their perverted ideas. Holi can really knuckle down now that the signals are streaming to Omega Supreme, so Glyph had better be ready to keep up! "Okay!" Holi says with a determined grin, crooking one arm and bracing his other hand above his elbow in the 'We Can Do It' gesture. The raccoon bats at him for the disturbance his movement causes, but seems content after that little scolding to go back to nibbling on its snack while rolling the bolt in its paws. Holi decides to leave it be and pulls a box from subspace, carefully working the shoulder strap onto his free shoulder and tucking it behind the cap of his shoulder joint to secure it. In the box are all the replacement boards and lengths and types of wire they should need. Hopefully, the raccoon's appetite didn't outstrip their supply.
