Perceptor hasn't seen through anything yet! He's not superman and Drift would really make a terrible Lois Lane, anyway. Besides, it's Perceptor that has mastered the whole damsel/princess-in-distress-arms-flailing-run-away-from-the-dastardly-bad-guy fleeing technique.
"Well, it was primarily Xaaron and Rodimus Prime who were concerned about precautions," Perceptor replies with a small shrug. "Botanica and I attempted to assure them that the life forms being chosen for the biosphere were harmless, but, in their defense, neither have as much experience with organic or biological life forms as Botanica and I do."
Clearly, Perceptor still feels that they were being overly cautious. This, of course, means that at some point in time, the entire Biosphere will have to become infected with something, rise up and revolt, and attempt to kill all the Transformers while Xaaron and Rodimus, and now perhaps Drift, stand by saying, "I told you so!"
Lawrence will remain completely unaffected and docile during this period of chaos. He will explode in a fit of rapid growth and take over the ship on another occasion. Probably Episode 44.
"Hmm... Gillanan? Well, that was where a great many of us first arrived, myself included. It was not until later study that we realized that the arrival points all contained specimens of the Cybertron remnants that were collected and are now housed in the 'Rock Room' aboard our ship. I expect that the Decepticons have a similar arrival repository within their own ship, given that we encountered new arrivals who had not been on Gillanan during our time on Pz-Zazz."
"It was also," he adds, "there that we discovered that Unicron exists in this reality." He pauses, and Drift may note Perceptor giving a bit of a shiver; he'd really hoped never to have to encounter that particular being again. Once had nearly been... terminal.
"Botanica and the other Maximals benefit from occasional exposure to biological nutrients, however, and so it was decided that when we left Gillanan to look for answers, that a fully balanced and self-sufficient biosphere would also be engineered into the ship. I believe that the Nebulans also utilize portions of the Biosphere for their nutritional needs, as well, although..." he pauses then, his step faltering for a moment as he considers the fact that he hasn't... really been checking up on the 'Master partners as much as he should have been. "I should check into that to be certain." How could he have forgotten about the 'Master partners?!
