"Mmm, I know how flexible you are darling," Mirage can't help but tease as he flops gracefully down on the gazebo steps and leans against the woodwork. He brings one arm back to pillow his head, then turns his smirking face toward Skyblast. He bends the knee closest to Skyblast up. Right now, Mirage is the picture of casual elegance.
Pretty as a picture.
"I've posed for portraits before, but they were usually more formal. So please, direct me however you'd like."

Skyblast pauses, static-chokes, gives Mirage a Look, and then segues into a libertine smirk. "That is a very... generous, open-ended offer on your part, Mirage. A bot could take advantage of such a thing, you know."
Didn't Mirage warn Skyblast about that sort of thing, once?
Not like Skyblast really listened, given what he did directly after that advice.
"The trouble is, you really are lovely just as you are. Trying to top that with the artifice of posing is... well, I do love a challenge." Love. Oh, so Skyblast loves a challenge, but he doesn't love...
He raises a hand and curls his fingers back at himself. "Hmm, bring your torso forward, just a bit. The way the light fall through the gazebo roof is hitting your shoulders a bit too brightly."

Mirage lets a bit of heat creep into his expression. "Oh I certainly hope one might," he responds when Skyblast speaks of taking advantage.
Mirage shifts just as directed, moving his torso forward in small increments until Skyblast tells him to stop. Mirage shifts his head slightly as well, so that the sunlight should now be nicely illuminating his profile.
"So you intend to carry this image about with you?"

"Yes, in my cockpit," Skyblast replies. The camera will pan dramatically to it whenever Skyblast does anything dangerous! "If you ever tire of me and wish me not to have it, just let me know, and I'll give it to you, to dispose of as you wish. I don't usually do permanent images, but... moreso now, I am finding."
All of this tedious painting work of symbols and detailing and blah.
"But hmm, why don't you put your hand under your chin, like so?" Skyblast asks, directing Mirage to gently caress his own jaw, a wicked idea taking hold of him.

"My dear, do you really think I will every tire of you? I've had few partners who can match my own adventurous nature, and you are one of them." Mirage admonishes gently. Really, Mirage expects Skyblast to tire of him, or that the skypainter will find another permanent lover before that happens.
He quirks an browridge at the direction, but complies, bringing his hand up and just lightly running the backs of his index and middle fingers along his jaw before stopping them under his chin.

If anything, Skyblast might be a bit too adventurous for Mirage. Skyblast sometimes confuses 'cuddling' and 'extreme sports'.
It is possible that Skyblast might find someone, one undying muse to bind his spark with fire and thorn. Perhaps the thought is silly and impossible, but Skyblast is one to seek the impossible. That is romantic, after all, the idea of the impossible ideal. However, his choices here have been rather... non-existent.
"I am amazing," Skyblast admits, sighing heavily, "but you know, we're from different universes. It's not as if you're going home with me..."
What they have is doomed to end someday if only for that very reason. Long-distance relationships are hard. Cross-dimensional relationships are nightmarish.
"But enough of that." He shakes his head. "I'm not sure about your legs. Bring the one knee up a bit?" And slide those thighs against each other and calf against calf?

Mirage again does as instructed, and he makes a show of it for Skyblast, metal sliding along metal at an excruciatingly slow pace, waiting for Skyblast's word or nod of approval.
But the skypainter is speaking truth, and it is truth Mirage has considered on more than one occasion. Perhaps he will not remember any of this when he is returned to his own time, and Mirage thinks that would be the worst punishment, worse even than this period of exile itself. To love and to lose is a fine thing, but to love and to forget- that is the highest of sins.
"Would you wish me to do so, if it were possible?" Mirage can't help but ask.

"I could not ask that of you," Skyblast replies, more serious than he almost ever is. However, he is brave, and he continues, "but I could wish it, yes."
Mirage is lovely and wonderfully talented at what he does and Skyblast is sure they could use someone like him. That is all selfish, though. He's not even sure if the medics back home could tend Mirage. They're not touching Mirage's voicebox, Skyblast would be sure. Besides, Mirage has his own home and Autobots he'd miss. It'd be unfair.
Skyblast makes Mirage wait until he's quite stretched out before giving him the nod. Then, rather flippant, he continues, "No, I think you need your hand on your upper arm..."
What Skyblast is doing here ought to be quite obvious by now.

It is obvious, and Mirage smirks at Skyblast's latest request. Again, though, Mirage does as directed, and again, the spy makes of the movement a show.
"You do realize that when you are done with your painting, I am going to thoroughly ravish you," Mirage purrs, "Right here, where anyone could wander by."
Yeah, that will totally not make make Skyblast stop. Which is why Mirage said it.
Would he go with Skyblast, if the jet asked, if it were even possible? Mirage does not think he could, and the spy feels a bit of a pang at the realization. Mirage would choose separation rather than lose his greatest love, his world. His Cybertron.
"I could wish it, as well," he says softly, "But I would more likely wish that you would come with me."

"Now you're just encouraging me," Skyblast notes casually. "Though there aren't many here who'd be worthy of seeing that particular show. Arch your back a bit, so less of you is in contact with that seat and more of you is in contact with you."
"That's a flattering wish," he says obliquely. Skyblast couldn't go with Mirage. He is a soldier in service of his planet. He was so under Optimus Prime and under Megatron before then. As flippant as Skyblast can be, he has a duty that he promised to undertake. Even should his world crumble to dust, his duty would remain.

Both of them have their duty, and both of them have their wish, yet neither thing can be reconciled. Perhaps they are more the star-crossed lovers than they might realize. Mirage and Skyblast, however, are entirely to practical to become the Romeo and Juliet of this traveling company.
"Would you not want others to see you at your most glorious, then?" Mirage teases as he once more does as directed, "And here I thought you were the ultimate exhibitionist."

Skyblast is practical enough that he'd settle for Mirage's sister, if Mirage won't go with him. (You hear that, Mirage's factory? Get to work giving Mirage some siblings!)
"Oh, honey, for it to be my most glorious, you'd need wings." Skyblast laughs. "Oh, but you'd actually look good in wings. Hmm..." He shakes off the thought. "Actually, hand at the small of your back? Let's see how that looks."

Mirage's lips purse and his brow furrows. "I rather think I would be quite ungainly as a plane, actually. And I don't know the first thing about flying."
No, Mirage prefers all four wheels on the ground and the feel of miles of road falling away beneath him. It's lovely, yes, to get that birds of view of the world, but he doesn't want it all the time.
He shifts his hand as directed, making the movement slow and deliberate- and watching Skyblast to see if the jet is watching that movement.
"Gorgeous as you are in the air, to me you are at your peak in my arms, when you let go yourself go so completely. You are more than beautiful then."

"Pssh, you have the grace. You'd be lovely," Skyblast insists, waving a hand dismissively. He leers a little, adding, "And I'd love to take you out for your first time. Flying."
Skyblast is definitely watching very, very carefully.
"You like that surrender, huh? No wonder you're so picky..." Skyblast smiles faintly and gives Mirage another set of posing directions.
OOC: May we timeskip to Skyblast having Mirage in just the perfect position?

Skipping away!
"... I still disagree. Just because I'm graceful as a car doesn't mean I'd be graceful as a jet," Mirage argues, though there's no malice in his tone, "Certainly not at first. Why my entire center of gravity would likely change." "I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. You are going to let me see it, aren't you?"
