Optimus presses a button on the podium, opening the massive doors of the hangar bay, leaving only a semi-permeable forcefield between the assemblage and hard vacuum. He presses another, and an inconspicuous, quiet conveyor belt begins moving the two holoprojector memorials toward the forcefield.
Optimus Prime faces the hangar bay doors and salutes, standing at attention as the two memorials slide through the forcefield and out into space. He holds the salute until both have faded from sight.
OOC: My Autobots and Maximal can be considered to be here in the background.

Jetfire throws up his own salute as the memorials are sent off into the abyss, forcing his quivering lip to still. He must be strong and serious for Sentinel Prime! He is proud representative of the Elite Guard, after all.

Rodimus releases Arcee's grasp to give a salute of his own. Kup and Override both offer theirs as well, all three giving proper military salutes of the sort that no one is likely to see on them again any time soon.
At least not until the next funeral, anyway.
Even Impactor comes as close as he can to a full salute, though given the fact that he's got a harpoon for a hand, there are some... peculiarities.
Then, after the holoprojectors fade from sight, Kup lowers his salute and turns towards Optimus, pausing just a moment before taking a few steps towards him. He lifts his right hand and attempts to place it on the young Prime's upper arm, an attempt to offer comfort.
Rodimus, meanwhile, walks towards Jetfire and Jetstorm. He pauses a moment, then reaches forward to gather the twins in a comforting hug.
OOC: Posting all my characters under this to make my life easier. Jetfire and Jetstorm hugged with permission.

Optimus accepts the hand on his arm, nodding at the old veteran and muttering a quiet thanks.
Looking at Rodimus and the twins, he sort of wishes he had someone to hug. But big grown-up bots aren't allowed to have platonic hugs, are they? Optimus Prime is unclear on the rules. He never would have hugged Sentinel. Though reflecting back on things, maybe he should have.
He steps away from the podium to mingle with the crowd. He's done officiating; the ceremony is over. Now all that's left is the quiet awkward mingling.

Even twitchy, cocky Skyblast manages a formal salute and stays still during the process. Emirate Xaaron easily holds a dignified, formal salute. He wonders, as the holograms roll away, if they had recovered the bodies - would they have spaced them? His own reality would. Kup's might have built a mausoleum. This reality... would have cannibalised them for parts, a practise that is anathema in Optimus's own reality. Emirate Xaaron says softly, perhaps too softly to be heard, "I commend thee unto the AllSpark," which not his belief, but it was theirs. However, hugging Optimii is something that Emirate Xaaron does. When Optimus Prime tries to move away from the podium and move into the crowd, the shorter golden Autobot tries to embrace him, commenting, "Well said, however ill it was that you had to say it." OOC: Skyblast posed because I play him.

Jetfire stiffens for a moment, unused to hugs from people other than his brother, then returns the embrace, hiding his face. He'll feel embarrassed about clinging to a superior officer like a newly molded protoform later, but for now he appreciates the comfort.

Fortunately, Rodimus is a big guy. There's lots of room for face-hiding.
He holds the twins for as long as they seem to need it, then lets them go.
"I'm sorry," he says softly. Those two little words seem pathetically insufficient, but then, what words would ever be enough?

Mirage shifts about uncomfortably as salutes are given. Everyone else so seems so right and proper- he is not a soldier, still can't quite think of himself as one. It seems a mockery to use the gesture.
Instead, he merely inclines his head downward, a moment of peace and respect for the fallen. Doubtless the different action will upset someone else in the assembled, but Mirage is used to upsetting people.
He has no intention of getting into an argument here, however. Once the mingling begins, the spy starts to edge toward the door.
Arcee stays where she was. Rodimus has his role, and will do what he must. Later, if he wants or needs comfort himself, she will be there.
Both still skippable. Posing both in one because it's easier

When Emirate Xaaron puts his arms around him, Optimus Prime stops being a public speaker or the newly-promoted Commander of the Elite Guard. He becomes, if not a young 'bot, a relatively young one who just lost his two best friends.
The Prime hugs Emirate Xaaron and buries his face in his shoulder, sobbing openly. No tears, though. Autobots from Optimus's reality don't do that.

Generally, when Optimii are suffering from emotional anguish, Emirate Xaaron verbally slaps them until they snap out of it. He doesn't do that now. After all, didn't Emirate Xaaron pile insult upon that emotional injury by asking Optimus to deliver the eulogy?
There was no other choice, however. To not ask Optimus to deliver the eulogy would have been an insult in and of itself. Optimus did know them best; to say anything otherwise would be a grave lie. The eulogy that the fallen deserved was the one that only he could give.
So Emirate Xaaron instead just holds him and tries to bring up one hand to lightly stroke the back of Optimus's helmet. He'd like to be able to reassure Optimus that they're in a better place, but Emirate Xaaron can't say that with certainty. He's never thought of the afterlife as a particularly rewarding place, if it exists at all for those who are not Matrix bearers, and the AllSpark concept from Optimus's own reality has never sounded better than life.
So, what can be said, then, that is not a lie and not yet another injury? "They will be remembered, and they are lucky to have you to remember them."

Jetfire sniffles a little as he pulls back from Rodimus then straightens up, doing his best to put his stoic soldier face back on.
"Thank you, sir," he replies quietly, then turns his gaze to poor sobbing Optimus. He thinks that later he and Jetstorm should mob the Prime with more hugs - or at least pats on the shoulder - and offer his condolences. For now he'll stand with his twin and watch the spot where Sentinel Prime's memorial disappeared.
OOC: Skippable.

Rodimus inclines his head at Jetfire's 'thank you.' "You're welcome," he says softly. "I'm so, so sorry for your loss."
As the twins move away, he slowly looks around the room, and his expression further softens with sorrow and sympathy as he sees Optimus Prime holding Xaaron and sobbing. He starts to take a step or two to try to offer comfort of his own, but then stops. Best not to suffocate him.
Instead, he first moves past Kup to put his hand on the old man's shoulder for a moment. A brief gesture, and strangely, meant to comfort him than Kup. Kup glances up, surprised at first, then nods, before Rodimus moves on to search out Arcee. Once he finds her, he'll catch her up in a hug, and later on, he'll probably seek out Blurr, as well.
When there's been a loss, any loss, sometimes it's good to reassure oneself of what's still there.
OOC: Skippable.
