If it's any consolation to Rodimus, Doctor Suzuki isn't mad at him; she's upset over losing her materials, but he didn't step on the tent. Though he could be considered the indirect cause of her tent being stepped on since he let the dinosaur menace the jet.
Speaking of the dinosaur, who not only speaks as clearly demonstrated several times, but speaks of elevated topics including tectonics! Now, she's probably asking in a rhetorical fashion, but Lucy would like a distraction from the fact that her tent is not only crushed but now probably incinerated in a lava flow, as well as how sore her behind already feels and speculation on how much worse it will be when this very bumpy ride is finally over.
"You don't suppose," she wonders aloud, her voice shaking in time with the dinosaur's stride, "the tales of that crystal were true? Maybe this has something to do with it!" And already her mind's halfway gone working this over, looking for the ways it does and doesn't support her research.

Dr. Hoffman, on the other hand, is mad at both Rodimus and Duskwing. She'll probably calm down on Rodimus more quickly, though.
"Why would removing a crystal cause a tectonically-stable area to erupt?" she demands, voice more strident than usual. Dr. Suzuki may recognize this as the "the greatest find of my career just got destroyed AGAIN" voice. "It makes... very little sense! Even less sense than as to why a great big hunk of crystal would even still BE there!"

Rodimus doesn't prevent Duskwing from leaving, because he's too busy making sure the lava flow isn't heading towards any inhabited areas. It's not long, however, before its advance slows and finally stops, and this well before the lava reaches either habitation or another temple. Rodimus Prime gives a sigh of relief, then turns to make his way towards where he thinks the others are. It can't be too hard to follow the trail of a robot dinosaur running fill-tilt through a jungle, right?
OOC: Any of the others may assume that Rodimus has come into view on their post... though obviously whoever assumes it first, that's when he gets there. Feel free to yell at him.

Bambi admits, very reluctantly, "Them Transformers use lots of crystal-based technology..."
Isn't she a Transformer? Oh, right.
Forward-facing optics are great, but this means that she can't see behind her, so she doesn't see Rodimus yet.
OOC: Fade on running away from lava?

OOC: Cool with a fade.
Doctor Suzuki ponders the questions and comes to a very abrupt conclusion. It sounds harebrained even to her, and completely unreasonable, and frighteningly plausible given what she's just seen. She looks from Bambi to Doctor Hoffman, tentative. This is where she would contemplatively lift one hand to her chin if she didn't need both to keep herself from being unseated.
"What if…" she supposes, haltingly, "the crystal… was what kept this region stable?"
First she got the archaeological community riled up; now it's time to annoy the geologists.

"I. What? What?" If that is true, Dr. Hoffman is going to have to follow Crankcase's lead and call bullshit on everything.
Good with fade.
