The only one arguing against is Long Haul. Normally, Omega Supreme would just let the ayes have it and leave Blast Off to his fate. However, Omega Supreme is biased where his Constructibot is concerned. He hesitates.
If this was his reality, Ultra Magnus would be in charge, and his words would be an order.
This is not Omega Supreme's reality.
Omega Supreme rumbles, "Suggestion: vote."

While the Autobots argue, the thing keeps pursuing Blast Off, following the wave of missiles that are being taken down one by one, using them for cover. One of the blasts manage to clip him, ripping through its armor deep enough to sever a fuel line, a glowing liquid spilling out into open space. Then, over the short band radio it lets it's voice be known, a twisted combination of static and manic ranting that is almost unintelligible, save for a few broken words and brief sentences. //Holy BLOOD// //DIE// //CLIP your WINGS and WATCH you BURN// //YOU ARE NEXT// //MUTILATE// They are all in Cybertronian. The guardian twists around, doing a barrel roll to avoid one of the X-Ray blasts, and in one smooth continuous motion it launches another wave of missiles. Unless Blast Off is a fast shot, there may be too many to shoot down.

Ultra Magnus ignores the call for a vote, watching and listening instead. He leans forward on the console and takes in the furious scene with a narrow-eyed gaze. He stands by his insistence to leave Blast Off to whatever fate he's found, he tells himself. Blast Off is a Decepticon, and by that merit alone has Magnus's spite and bitterness.
But it wasn't so long ago in his too-long life that he believed he was rehabilitating Decepticons under his command. It wasn't so long ago that all he wanted was peace. It wasn't so long ago that he would have thrown himself at a threat like the mad guardian without a second thought to defend a fellow – and Blast Off, some version of him, was a fellow to Magnus once – against such an assailant. The pinched glare on his face slowly gives way to something more like disgust and horror as he thinks, and his hands tighten into fists. The longer he watches, the more he aches to throw himself into the fray and tear both of them apart. He might need another patch installed when the mission is over.
"…What's wrong with me?" he mutters to himself, looking down at his hands. Surely that thing, whoever or whatever it is, will come after them when it's done with Blast Off. That's reason enough to stop it, thinks Magnus, and he rationalises against the urge to let the Decepticon die that he isn't really helping Blast Off. He looks up again and his expression has turned grim. Aloud, he says, "That thing will probably come after us next. We need to kill it." Not stop it. Not distract it or run it off. Kill it.

Long Haul's optic band dims and his shoulders slump. Vote? Sounds like he's already pretty well out-voted. He does mutter, "That don't mean we know who's on board," in answer to Jetfire, but at Magnus's statement, he gives a sharp nod. "Yeah, there's that, too. Thing might be easier to deal with when it's also dealing with the Decepticons, y'know? Better to deal with it now than let it get us with a surprise attack, innit?"

Kill it now or kill it later, it doesn't matter to Swoop. "If you want smash it now, okay," he says, craning his neck toward the viewscreen to try and get a look at whatever the thing is.

Jetfire nods stiffly at Ultra Magnus. He's a follower, not a leader. He prefers someone else coming up with a plan and telling him what to do to the democratic approach. However, considering who some of his leaders used to be, he should maybe learn to take more responsibility for his own decisions.
"Let us destroying this monster, then." They can deal with the Decepticon monsters afterward.

It's odd, how quickly things change. Omega Supreme shifts his course to take them closer. He does not actually have weapons in this form, aside from running into things, so he supposes that he'll have to dump them out and transform?
At least Jetfire can fight on his own in space, but what are they going to do about Ultra Magnus, Long Haul, and Swoop?
He rumbles, "Transformation: required. Preferences?"

Blast Off is burning. But not enough. The creature will not rest before the shuttle burns upon the surface of the asteroid, joins the wreckage there, and- There are others here. The hulk turns, glaring red eyes zooming in on the other vessel that just entered his sensor range. At the sight of it, it erupts in pure white hot rage, another burst of manic, half static and half ranting erupting over the shortband radio. But only one word is intelligible. //OMEGA// With pillars of fire beneath it's feet it propels itself towards the gaudy ship, the other eye searing vessel forgotten and left to crash. It is going against what it was told to act, but there is something that burns bright in it's mind, something beyond rage. //KILL// It draws closer, entering visual range, a twisted, humanoid shape of wreckage fused together. One large arm is drawn back as it comes alive with the very fires of hell, burning some of the wreckage covering it's armor, revealing purple metal, then teal.... //EVERYTHING!// Then finally a red optic burning with something intense. Hate. Omega survived. Lugnut will not let that happen again.
Somewhere very nearby... Something watches through pitiless shattered satellite eyes, and it pulls off a passable imitation of thinking and feeling. Right now, it thinks that this scenario was all too predictable. It says, perhaps to itself, perhaps to one of its guests, "The Autobots hesitated. I expected they would. Getting a pure stand of the utterly selfless type is rather unlikely. Oh, it wouldn't have mattered even if they hadn't hesitated, though! They've been invited, they've arrived just on time, and now, my maître d' will show them in to the main event."

"Omega! Evasive manoeuvres!" The words flow as a matter of reflex, really. Magnus frowns and looks at the others. Jetfire and Swoop are fliers; he focuses on them. "Can either of you operate in space?" he demands. "We need to find somewhere Omega can set us down and that… thing is coming in fast. We might need cover. I'll climb out on the hull myself if need be!"

"Woah!" Long Haul exclaims, throwing himself into his seat and buckling in. "Erm... out here, all I can do is repairs, M'afraid," he lets the others know. He's more of a brawler, and space isn't much good for brawls.

"Me, Swoop never tried," the Dinobot responds, tilting his head at Ultra Magnus. He's totally willing to climb out on the hull with Magnus, though.

"I am very worthy of space," Jetfire says with a firm nod.
Omega Supreme and Jetfire versus Lugnut? Why does this seem familiar...

No, see, the problem is, if Omega Supreme transforms, everyone is going to get dumped outside. That is why he asked about preferences. Do they want to be dumped outside now or later?
But the question may be academic.
Yes, Omega Supreme evades now, but if he doesn't get some support out there, he may shortly be joining Blast Off in crashing.

Magnus braces himself against being toppled by any sudden shifts and glowers at Jetfire.
"Then get out there! Cover Omega Supreme!" he orders, then turns back to the screens. He searches for any likely places they can be set down. Or thrown at, should urgency demand. There are a few promising spans and ledges within leaping distance. He focuses on the four nearest options and highlights them. "Omega, any of these – whichever is the most ideal opportunity, whether you need to eject us or not." Any of them should be easy enough to reach either way.

Omega moves in time to evade Lugnut's murderous strike. The berserked giant roars in frustation before quickly turning again, locking in on the fleeing shuttle, another burst of static flung over the radio.
//NO ESCAPE//
He whirls around, the trembling in his arm speeds up, and then he thrusts it forward and launches it with explosive force. It's propelled on a pillar of fire, aiming to inflict considerable damage on the Autobot vessel.
