Jetfire is actually going to grin honestly at that. Slingshot's amusement is, well, amusing, and he's not laughing at Jetfire! Jetfire isn't above laughing at other people's expense. Of course, now he feels bad about ever having laughed at Sentinel Prime...
"Um, I am thinking maybe he was being a truck?" he says, trying to remember.

If Slingshot were human, he'd be crying with laughter about now. "Oh man! A truck? Powerglide?"
He's still grinning when he finally calms down. "Okay, your universe might not be a total loss." He cocks his head. "Ever been racing down the Grand Canyon?"

Jetfire smiles at Slingshot and shakes his head. It appears he has broken through Slingshot's grumpiness, at least for the moment! "I have not ever been racing through a grand canyon. Mostly just around buildings and through hallways."

"Me neither." Slingshot picks up his gun and holsters it in subspace. "Silverbolt says it's too dangerous." From his tone of voice, Jetfire can likely tell how much of a square Slingshot considers Silverbolt to be. "Come on!"
With that, he jumps and transforms, using his VTOL to get up to a better flying height. And hover, meanwhile.

"Hah! But is not fun if it is not being a little dangerous, yes?" Jetfire kicks into the air with a grin, matching Slingshot's height before transforming himself. "Be leading the way to this big canyon!"

Slingshot turns more tightly than any aircraft without vectored thrust nozzles can manage, show-off that he is, and wings off towards the Grand Canyon. As the Aerialbot flies, it's not a long route. Jetfire will notice, though, that Slingshot stays over mountains, even when there's a perfectly inviting low river valley not far off. At one point, he banks and avoids a lenticular cloud. This isn't Slingshot being careful; he doesn't seem to register he's doing it. But the few weeks of life he had on Earth before he came to Deadzone were lived in the Cascade Range; he's picked up some of the habits necessary to becoming an old pilot in the mountains. Of course, he's still Slingshot, he'll dance with the turbulence. He does so now, laughing.

Jetfire chases after Slingshot, dogging his tail and taking in the view. He comms the other jet, //Is very pretty!//
The turbulence surprises him, but he's a nimble little jet and he adjusts. He moves alongside Slingshot, then darts closer to him for a moment before moving away again. Slingshot up for a game of not-quite-chicken?

Slingshot's always up for a game of not-quite-chicken! He wobbles a bit as the other jet's wingtip-vortex screws with the air around him, but he recovers as only a mech with four brothers (one of whom can be just as much a dick as he can, one who is a flight-risk over flat ground, one who is a show-off know-it-all, and one is scared of heights) can.
He growls low over a general comm-band, angling for an intercept on Jetfire.

Jetfire laughs over the comm-band, enjoying the chance to spread his wings. He'll have to drag Jetstorm out for a spin whenever the two of them have free time at the same time.
He refuses to shy away from Slingshot, despite being rather out-massed by the Harrier - and yet, to his amusement, he's taller than Slingshot in robot-mode! - but if he gets too close, Jetfire is going to flip upside-down and over him, to fly cockpit looking down into cockpit.

As Jetfire flips over him, Slingshot rolls in response, giving the other jet two options: break off or keep rolling so they spiral around each other.

That seems like a challenge and Jetfire isn't going to back down from that! So he keeps rolling, engaging Slingshot in a strange little aerial dance.
He's never really gone flying like this with anyone but his brother and it's... different. With Jetstorm, he generally knows exactly what his twin is thinking, because it's almost exactly what he's thinking. With Slingshot, he has no idea what he's going to do next! It's a little unnerving. It's a little exciting.

The two jets roll together for long minutes. Then, at the top of one arc, upside down, Slingshot slides out of the roll, laughing. This is fun!
This is nothing like flying with his brothers, though. Jetfire is way too quiet. Slingshot remembers a constant stream of chatter from one or more of his brothers while they flew. It's a memory more like a note in his logs than sensory impressions, though.

Jetfire continues to roll for awhile after Slingshot moves away for the fun of it, then shoots straight up, laughing himself.
//Perhaps we should trying to fly inside of canyon?// Flying is fun! Death-defying flying is even more fun!

//You're on!// So saying, Slingshot dives into the canyon. He feels the wind shift as it's suddenly constrained, unconsciously adjusts for it.
Adjusts for it in a body that's shaped differently than the one he's wearing.
He bobbles and twists, having to consciously bring himself back to where he wants to be.

Jetfire follows with a laugh, wobbling and rolling to adjust to the confines of the canyon right along with Slingshot. He does his best to keep his flying sharp; he may have a bit more room for error than Slingshot with his smaller size and wingspan, but that's no excuse for sloppy flying! Jetfire aims to impress, even if he doesn't have a brother present to show up.
