A certain geezer didn't get the Autobot phone number immediately, but given her job, she was made aware of it within a few days, at least.
The phone rings to whatever signal or ring tone the Autobots have set. Caller ID suggests a number in the Detroit area registered to one "Katherine Mason."

After wading through a voice menu tree ("If you are with the media and wish to schedule an interview, press '1'; if you are official law enforcement personnel and wish to request aid or report Decepticon activity, press '2'; if you are.... ") Kate Mason makes it through the menus to a live person.
Bluestreak's cheerful voice comes on the phone. "Hello, this is Bluestreak of the Autobots. How can I help you, uh, Ms. Mason? Is it Ms. Mason, or do you prefer Miss Mason, or Mrs. Mason?"

"I tell you what I prefer!" the woman on the other end shouts. Though the voice is feminine, there's something.. familiar about the tones. "I prefer not to have to wade though a thousand gear-crackin' menu options! What if someone was calling with a 'Con about to grab 'em up and force 'em to give 'em some sort of top secret energy formula or something?!" Since that's pretty much a favorite hobby of the Decepticons the speaker is familiar with. "They'd be kidnapped and had their minds read by whatever the latest axel-splittin' mind-reading gizmo the 'Cons had cooked up before you're done askin' what they prefer to get called!"
Then the speaker takes a deep breath, calming herself down. "As for what I prefer being called... Bluestreak, lad, this is gonna sound nuts, but the answer is 'Kup.'"

"Decepticon emergencies are on the top menu, so you get to that real fast, but we had to weed out all the reporters calling just for interviews and the politicians who wanted us to appear at their rallies and stuff, they were tying up the line real bad and-- Kup? KUP? KUP!"
Kate Mason will hear an excited yell in the background of "Nightbeat! We've got Kup!" and inaudible answering mumble.
"Right, security questions. What's your pullpoint and when and where did you arrive in this universe?"

"You know those questions ain't sure things, right? Human memory ain't as sharp as robot memory," even when you're an old robot, "and I know I, at least, seem to got two overlappin' sets of memories. Might end up shorting things out for some folks."
"But answering, it's, [middle of Return of Optimus Prime, just after Galvatron's closed off the tunnel behind the himself and the Autobots he had temporarily 'allied' with], I showed up way back on Gillanan III, one of the first few to show up. Back then, there was only a handful of us... the kid Holi was the first one I ran into, then I met up with the others right after. I think they'd just come back from pickin' up Omega Supreme."
"They ain't bad questions, mind. Someone who answers them is probably who they say they are. Thing is, not being able to answer them doesn't mean they're fake... it just means more questions."

"That's what Nii-- uh, what I was told, and I'm following guidelines," Bluestreak said. Well, that information checks out so far. "I have a few more questions, just to be sure..." and he continues with a few questions on both notable and obscure events ("What did notable thing did Grimlock do one month after you got there?" "Who didn't get the least bit overcharged at our first Autobranding party, and who was that party for?" etc.)
"Okay, now that I know you're you, do you have a secure contact number or online identity that we can use to continue keeping in touch, or do we need to set up some kind of regular pre-arranged meet? Also, do you want to be extracted now, or wait to see how things develop or hold on for orders?" Bluestreak sounds a lot like he's reading from a checklist, except that he's trying to get all the bullet points in one sentence.

Kate doesn't actually have the answers to all the questions. She's old! And right now, she's organic! Also, how the hell is she going to remember who didn't get overcharged at a party where she was overcharged? However, she does get a reasonable number of them correct. Enough so that it would be hard to imagine that this isn't Kup.
"This phone number's the only one I got, and I wouldn't call it secure. Got an email, but it's as secure as any other email: antipunk-at-gmail-dot-com. Probably not a good idea for you guys to send me stuff at my work email.
"No extraction. This doesn't seem to be like the time that one human criminal dumped Prime and the others in human bodies; like I said, I've got another set of memories rattling around in my head. Assuming there are others this happened to, and the fact that you already got a damned checklist for it means it has, this other life I got might be good for tracking folks down. Seems I'm a cop in the unit that deals with metas and other screwy things like that."

"Well, I can neither confirm nor deny what's happened to anyone in particular, because you know, possibly public phone line, but the 'Cons have been real quiet since this happened, laying so low you'd think there weren't any. Because this is a possibly public phone line, we're going to arrange a meet-up so you can get a briefing in person; call <insert Rodney's contact number> and he'll set things up, okay?"
Hesitation. "Kup, I know I'm not very good at this sort of thing, but we're making do as best we can."

"All right, all right, I know," Kate gives a heavy sigh. "It's a rough situation all 'round, but I'm sure we'll figure some way to fix it." They'd damn well better!
"I'll see about avoiding this number, though if an emergency crops up, I ain't gonna have much choice. Thanks for the alternate."

"Okay. Um, is there anything you need in the meantime? So we can arrange to have it ready for you when your contact sets things up and stuff, since we can't really bring you anything before we contact you," Bluestreak says. They've found another Autobot and Bluestreak really doesn't want to let this one vanish back into the electronic void.

"Naw, until you guys can manage a secure datapad or tablet or whatever you want to call it with a filtered link to the Horizon, I think I'm good."

"Okay, I'll pass that on. If you need something before then, do call! You sure there isn't anything else? I mean, I wouldn't want to hang up on you just before you were about to say something important."
--- Wrap?

Kate comes to the realization that the only way this phone call is going to end is if she ends it.
"Naw, I'm good. Bye."
And then she hangs up.
Wrap! But not locking, since this is a phone thread. Kate may want to call back at some point, though if she does, any 'Bot is open for answering.
