Lynn appears to be deeply disappointed that Mirage is not a dinosaur. How can this be? He needs to be a dinosaur to be related to her! She kicks a rock in anger. Ow. Now her foot hurts. Lynn glares at the rocks, willing it to catch on fire. It doesn't catch on fire. She picks up the rock and throws it as far as she can, which is not very far.
"Did he tell you he's a fairy?" the HPad asks.

"No. He is. He's mostly human, and to be honest, fairies are probably just variant humans, anyway, but if you look at our family tree, it's not just human nobility," the HPad says for Lynn, "If you believe in that sort of thing. Given that I am a were-dinosaur..."

"Right," Rodney agrees. "So it could be fairies, but not fairies." It seems he's only half paying attention to what he's saying, but given that he's also working, that's rather forgivable.
Then he frowns. "Hnh," is all he says.
It's entirely possible that this is what prompts him to remark to Kate about how odd it is that he finds Addison as, well, as attractive as he does within the next few days.

"He did not tell me," Lynn's HPad observes, and she stares thoughtfully off at a cricket. That cricket looks delicious.
Being a were-dinosaur is hard.
