Scourge snarls, "Why are you so passive? Are you another one of those pervert masochists?"
He lets go of Crankcase entirely and glowers at the assassin, looking down his mask at him.

Words. Crankcase hates talking. He hates talking like he hates Scourge, who demands answers. He didn't need talking back home. The Dreads hardly needed to speak to understand each other.
But he isn't home. He doesn't have his team. His team is dead. He's here instead, with these strange, obnoxious people who want him to do troublesome, tiresome things like talk and understand and accept things like commanders dressed as Primes who shouldn't be allowed to make sound arguments about why Crankcase is a ready-made patsy.
"Want me fighting," the words belch out, thickly distorted, more than half shortwave transmission, "or behaving." He wants this over with. Toss him on the moon, give him hull detail for weeks, whatever gives him an excuse to not bother himself with talking to Scourge any longer.

"Fighting is a subset of behaving," Scourge says testily, "They're not mutually exclusive things. You fight at my command, and you fight me when I show weakness. I demonstrate my strength by not flying off the handle and murdering you messily."
There is an unhinged gleam to his red optics.

Crankcase has decided talking is useless. He can't make words work and this is taking entirely too much effort on his part. He says nothing, scowling instead. Sitting on the moon would be preferable because at least he wouldn't have to deal with the madness that is socialising.
Hell is other people. He read that somewhere. He's beginning to understand. He picks himself up, weapon still in hand, then tries to barge right on past Scourge and walk away. He'll give himself hull detail if Scourge would rather belabour a point Crankcase isn't inclined to hear.
OOC: Coming up on a fade/wrap, maybe?

There is a sickening twist in Scourge's manifolds as he realises that he absolutely will have to kill Crankcase someday. It's not that Scourge minds killing at all. There's a certain... rush to it (which an Autobot would say identifies Scourge's mind as irrevocably diseased). What Scourge minds is that he cannot communicate with Crankcase in an effective fashion to avoid needing to execute someone who should be a subordinate. If Scourge kills everyone around him, he will be ruling a dead universe, alone.
Scourge could deal with that, but for preference, having some live subjects would be nice.
However, right now, Crankcase is showing a criminal disrespect. He attempts to tackle Crankcase down, screaming, "You haven't been dismissed, soldier!"
OOC: I suppose.

OOC: If not, no problems. I was just fuzzy on where to go, but now there's direction.
True, Crankcase isn't dismissed, and flagrant disregard for chain of command isn't something he dabbles in normally, but he has no idea how to make sense to most people, let alone someone he doesn't enjoy looking at, and when he needs to re-evaluate – which he desperately does here – he retreats.
Or tries to. Several more tonnes of truck than he can claim slam into him from behind with a murderous bellow and the deck rushes up at the speed of head-on collision. It's like running into Ironhide all over again, but in a worse position for escape. All the same, Crankcase tries, twisting, aiming to tuck himself up and shove Scourge off with both feet.

Crankcase has, to Scourge, (his player knows better, but Scourge can't read character applications or minds) demonstrated that he is a bigoted idiot who ignores orders unless they come from Starscream and that he will pick fights with his fellow soldiers for looking 'too Autoboty'. This means Crankcase is unsafe to assign to any commander except for Starscream, so Scourge can't, for example, just put Crankcase in Rook's division and go on his merry way, because Crankcase might disobey Rook for being Not Starscream and completely ruin everything. This also means that Crankcase is unsafe to assign to work with anyone who looks 'too Autoboty' like... Swindle or whoever.
This is a huge organizational headache for Scourge. He can't afford to baby a prima donna with bigotry and special snowflake lone wolf problems.
Scourge is tempted to just give Crankcase to Starscream and let Starscream deal with the problem, but that would be giving Crankcase what he wants. So he decides to try to drag Crankcase off to the brig instead, literally drag.

Once Crankcase realises Scourge isn't trying to kill him in horrible ways, he stops trying to shove the larger truck off. He doesn't even resist being dragged away. If Scourge is trying to haul him off somewhere private and kill him, he can address that as it comes. If he's being hauled off to sit on the moon or something, well, at least it isn't socialising.

And so Scourge tries to drag Crankcase off to the brig and lock him up.
OOC: Thread end?
